which ones the purple widow? I haven't gottin them in just yet.According to the Usps i should be getting them anyday now. We'll see though.Cant wait to strart these seeds alomg with my buddies.I Hope i get some males with both strains.I planning on backcrossing the purple widow with the O.G white widow(Mr.Nice's Black widow).THen prob cross it with either GDP or Purple wreck. From what i understand about the purple widow is the stretch.Takes some picts if you can and are willing to i would definetly love to see how yours are doing.Breeding the p.w with the rainbow kush will make an outdoor strain forsure. as far as crossing it with another purple strain basiclly i want to bring out more indica dominance, that way it will be more of an indoor strain. If all goes well i want a vieriety of clones to give to patients, so they can choose to have an outdoor or indoor version of each strain. Or at least that would be ideal. + i have some buddies i plan on sending the seeds out to, would love to see what some one else would do with them.

Hey Butcher props man:goodjob:
I too don'T know how you keep up with all you are doing either;)

You shoud throw some more outside. That one seems to be right at home.
Like you said Its a Weed. :rasta:

ALOHA and MAHALO for stopping in! Love to have the OldMedMen around.Your name gives me good vibes about you as a person not just a grower. My veryfirst and true mentor who was like my father, we called him "OLD MAN"(R.I.P) He is the one who i litterally think about everytime i'm in my garden. He showed me how to roll, grow, smoke, trim, feed, and just about everything you ever need to know about gardening. He use to grow litterally thousand and thousands of plants each year. I can remember the first time walking in a field and just being in aww, imagine the looking as the sun rises, dew dropplets glistening on the leafs, when you breathe you can see your breath come out and as you fallow it you see in sight perfect rows of cannabis. This is just something mostly no one ever see in thier lifetime and this oldman(with some help)did the impossible every year.A true freedom fighter.Sorry to gone on and on, man these memories are great!!

any ways...I'm working on that one right now.I've got some in veg that i'm waiting to get big enough. Last year i got outdoor harvest all year, thats the great thing about living in cali, you can veg indoor and with soo much sun you can flower outdoor all year. Last year was just personal smoke. No guerilla gardening, just personals this year.I difinelty prefer outdoor over indoor anytime. Yeah indoor is more potent,BUT the taste of fresh grown outdoor, it is sooooo much smoother and tastier. Am i the only one who thinks this? Hope not.

Again Mahalo and aloha from here in the mainland.

I'm shocked as i can be!!! 3 weeks n no attention at all !!! the ironic thing was this was just hardened off just a few days then i put her oout there and well now we all see why its called WEED..

I'm starting to think that we pay way too much attention to our plants! They seem to do just fine without us.

Next year I'm going to carry some seedling way out in the middle of the wilderness and mark the spot with my GPS and come back in Oct. to check on them.

:ganjamon:I must agree with you on that one. I just feel if they are brought up tin the right situation they will survive any thing.and from your snotty girl you have the right situation and knowledge to do it. I will be the first to say do it. I think i may have to do the same.the gps is a great idea!!+rep:goodjob:

Hah, I don't know why I've never thought of the GPS - i've always settled on "if I put it somewhere that it won't be found, then i won't find it". I may end up doing the same in the spring!
:rasta:

Yeah the gps is great. You can wander around out in the woods and then set the waypoint and save it all and 6 months later follow the same path back.

I think the trick is to also start the plants growing through a 2" copper ring or something. I was most worried about deer, rabbits and beaver but it turns out the number one threat around here is slugs and other bugs that crawl up the stem. Slugs around here will climb all the way to the top of a plant and cut the top off. Usually it works out okay because you then end up with two tops but it still pisses you off.

did you use domalite lime? this helps prevent slugs. My grandma has got some stuff she uses to keep all bugs out.I'll find out this weekend when i visit her and ask her. it smells like hell but,, her gardens smoke any ones i've ever seen in my whole life.Thats no joke, she could grow in ice!

okay i know its a late update but here are a few pics, well actually alota picts. These were takin last week sometime, i'll update with new ones this weekend. The rooms getting crowded so sorry for the less detailed picts..here we go:

hope you all enjoyed. And thanx for the comments and support.:thankyou:

I feel that the stretch took so long, that the harvest will definetly be pushed back about 2 weeks. As you can see the progression was slowwer due to the stretch. I honestly feel that the huge stretch was due to me increasing the amount of foliar applications of liquid light (not compaining this just means more nugs) in the last 3 weeks. I mean damn my mother Rainbow is still stretching and hasn't even stopped growwing yet, this is not normal. I figure according to the others plants on how they stretched, she will probably stretch another 6 inches to a foot, then start to flower which will push her harvest a couple weeks after the tops are done. But due to the density of this grow I plan on choppping the tops, then harvest the lower buds 1-2 weeks later (for a second harvest) so that will work out. Well at least as far as harvesting mama rainbow with them.:thankyou: and time to :rollit: then get some  and hopefully go :surf: later tonite..yayeah !!!

Its kinda hard to say.Hydro is less forgiving but faster growth.Soil is easier to maintain as well as less weighting on your mind, but it just doesnt produce as fast. But thats the debate for my futeure grow wether to use 5 gallon soil or ebb-n-gro buckets, PITVIPER,G.I and a few others have me leaning that way right now but we'll see.

IMG_23592.JPG

now it's time to start the fun.I will be starting another journal here soon to show the process and growth of the new seeds as well as breed them.I'm going to be building a box for each set of both females and males to breed in. So they can do it naturally just let the male pollinate all over the females.this will consist of the fallowing breeds:

96' bubba kush x purple widow

Rainbow kush x Purple widow

la women x 96 bubba kush

la women x rainbow kush

purple widow x white widow

and as soon as my friend sends his new stock then those be worked with as well.the raibow will be sativa dominite where as the la Women x bubba will be more indica dominite. My goal is to get the color of the p.w in with the potency of the rainbow kush but the stature of the bubba abd its tight internode spacing..anyhow all this will be in my breeding journal. So thanxto all, and there will be a new update this weekend.:cheertwo: so now you can go back to rollin a fatty if you havent finished you current one..:ganjamon:
