Heres The New Bucket System for the flowering area. All started at 13 inches & are all LA WOMEN. time to see how she does in a hydro set up. If she doesn't produce the quality and quanity as that all the other strains in the garden produce, it will be time to shelf her. So far so good though. :

And heres something to finish off the Update for Week #8:

The Black Mist is out of control, I got her up to 2130 PPM at a PH of 5.8 and will be upped one more time, (if I can). I'm going to push her to 2500 PPMs' for her last week. Shes getting fatter by the day. This is my favorite cross of all time. I cant believe for a Sativa dom. Strain I cant believe the high PPM count its taking. WOW!!Then to top it off theres this. Buds grow'n on leafs (((DAMN))):

Very nice Butcher!! The new setup is looking nice, I think you will like the DWC buckets. The plants love the space, when using individual buckets. Outstanding looking nugs as usual!

Heres MOM (LA WOMEN):

This lil project convinced me that I should grow all of my future moms in this exact system.:yahoo: Its cheap, effective and easy to maintain. This mom will give me cuttings once every 7-10 days after these cuttings are take'n. So I must say this was one secessful experiment. What so you think?..:hmmmm: :hmmm:

Very impressive but you haven't run her for a long time so don't go changing everything just yet. Definitely worth a long term study. :bravo:

I haven't done mothering yet, but when I had that need I was considering the "bonsai mums" technique which is in soil. It showed great production and low maintenance over the long term.

Love them roots BTW! :;):

DWC is pretty amazing for growth rate. In the third week of veg from clones I'm getting an inch a day of good thick growth. I'm not convinced using high doses of nutes is the answer, I never go above 900 ppm and am gettig some nice results. I feel light is the key. And don't squeeze too many in a small spot, it will reduce yield.

very nice mom and root system.

Few ?? if you dont mind..

What are you running for nutes, additives etc.

How often do you need to change / and or top of the bucket?

How are the pH fluctuations?

Do you fill it pretty much up to the bottom of the net cup?

Keep up the great work butcher :bravo:

1. Nutes: Gen. Hydro 3 part, Magi.Cal, Hygrzyme, Floranectar
2. Change out every 7-10 days & I do top off with Water, then I adjust.
3. No big PH fluxuations. I adjust as needed.
4. I start out at just aboce the roots bottm then at about half way down, I let the roots grow into the water.

Hope this answers your questions, ask away..

in veg I dont go crazy on the nutes. I stay simple, occasionally letting the ppm's drift into the 1100 range, never anything more.
But in flower thats another story. Depending on the strain, sometimes less is more and sometimes not. Either way if you take things slowly the ladies will be all good. But again in veg less is more.Thanx for stop'n by FPF.

Always a pleasure to stop by, you definitely set the standard Butcher!
