The Butcher Pride

Hey Bro I got a dumb question for ya, but when you harvest do you get a weigh in then or do you wait till the nugs are cured and then weigh them to see what the real harvest is????? wondering...

I dont weigh them til after drying is done. You can weigh them before or after curing.

thats kinda what I thought...but i think im gonna weigh them at harvest and after the cure just to see the difference, should be interesting to see how much lighter they are after curing..later bro and thanks

Hey Butcher,

I'm sure you said this somewhere in here but,

What's your opinion on Fox Farm's Solubles ?

What Additive(s) ( IYO ) would be best for me with the FFOF and the Soil Trio ?

Thanks in advance !

And looking great ! lol

I like the dark period, the only thing is it will push your trichs more toward the amber. but if you pull just right then you can get a nice 50/50 ratio. I pulled at 30-35% amber and 70-75 cloudy. Then the dark period pushed the trichs to about 50 % amber. Which was perfect for me. The dark period basiclly forces your plant to pull out all the stops and release anything stored away. the results are good, but again it will cause your trichs to amber up a lil more.

Beautiful advise definitely gonna do this when I harvest.

I didn't need to ask a leprechaun ... it is obvious that there is a "pot of gold" at the end of that rainbow. :rasta: Excellent work my friend.

heres 1 recipe that would work:Mite, bugs, powdery mildew.

1/4 cup Baking Soda
1/2 cup Apple Cider vinegar
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
2 drops dish detergent
1/4 Teaspoon Epsom Salts

Take a cup of very hot water and dissolve the epsom salts, take rest of ingredients and place in a clean 2 liter bottle and let work out. Add epsom solution. Add water to fill to 48ozs(3/4 full).Shake well.

TO USE: Cover soil/medium with plastic, with lights off mist plant all over, especialy under leaves,
Wait 20 mins, then spritz off with clean fresh water shaking as much water off plant as you can.
The fresh water spritz rinse will remove the solution along with the desolved remains of the mites and their eggs.

Water plants 1/2 hour before spraying. This will help keep your plants from absorbing the spray.

This solution has been tested and used as directed will not burn plants, the rinse is very important though as it removes the spent solution before it can concentrate and burn the plant. It also removes most of the dead mites and eggs so you don't end up eating them.

The formula can be diluted further,to 1 liter and it will still kill the mites but isn't as effective at dissolving and removing the mite parts.
Since removing the mite debris is desirable, I recommend the stronger solution, just remember to rinse and shake.
This formula is alkaline(about 7.8-8) so please remember to rinse.

I've used it on several different insects and it works pretty damn well. Also heres another link of a product i just used last week and it worked pretty damn fast and worked as it said, so here you go:

Get Rid of Thrips: Garden & Floral Killer is a quick, effective way to get rid of thrips

Let me know how things go. Th etop recipe I have on tap for my outdoor gardens too.. Cleared my rose bushes in 2 days and that was a full blown infestation. after Using the product I gave them a good rinse and chopped all the damaged greenery and They are back to normal. And flowerring lke hell.Even w/ the lack of sun due to the rains.

Awesome butch i'll give it a shot with that recipe how often should i use this method? or is it a one time kill all method?

I use it every couple weeks when I dont have bugs. Just remember to spay them down after. I use it w/ the lights out.

One of the things that I recently really realized is a good foliar program does help maintain keeping the bugs away, along w/ helping your plants out. But If i'm not using the Liquid light, I use the spray every couple weeks durring veg and once durring flower, but thats early into flower. Even if you dont opt to use the recipe, which is fine, then use P.H'd water every couple weeks when the lights are out. This is just to keep any bugs or dust built up off your plants. Again I just learned this after all these years. So trust me its never to late to get on the program. If you choose too. Hope this helps yall out..:grinjoint:
