hey butch, just got some AgNO3. gonna mix up some silver bullets tonight. ;)

so which style do you like the most? dirt, hydro, etc?
about the hst, I go with OMM, i always prefer lst. topping is fun too, dont forget that option.
 
thanx OMM..the issue is the biggest 1. she's flush w/ the light already. That I thnk will have to hst. the others lst sounds good.

WOF:And I LOVE hydro to be honest.Today I just seperated all the soil from the hydro. And will be adding another 20 site in another area. Picts to come later.
 
That big rainbow is awesome! Looks like it'll weigh 4-6oz. I'm still amazed by how much bud you can fit in that space. That plant in a 4" pipe system! Good luck with the tall plants. Looks like topping and HST are your only options from the pics. Do you think HST will shade neighboring plants. Excellent work!
 
yeah thats my only issue, with the HST'n. I figure if I do then it will be tied to the wall. Kinda wall scrog, but well have to see. The roots run deep with these ladies. I may have Top, but I'm trying not to. The light penetration is perfect. Its getting to every plants lower sites. I've givin them a good leg shaving, so that will help out alot.

As far as size of space, keep in mind ithe system was built for S.O.G. Short veg time. But the ladies started taking off and the next thing I know, I spent so much time w/ the last grow I let them get big. So I guess live and learn. No matter how many years I have growwing, still make'n newb mistakes.I figure If I get at least 2 ounces off each plant thats 2 x 12 so thats a good 24 ounce harvest out of 12 plants not to bad. Thats 1.5 lbs. About the same as my last grow. Whoch IMHO isnt bad coming out of a 1k light. I would like to say its good use of the area, But thats just my oppinion,. You all are the ones watching the show. What do yall think?
 
So heres the new garden veg area. I got some clones cut, and reset it so all the "DIRTY GIRLS" can veg in this area. And theres a pict of the male room and a girl that is just going crazy,I had to actually stake her up. so heres the shots along with my december flowering girls(god I love cali):

hey man can you explain this HST to me ?? im sure its referring to hi stress training in comparison to low stress training... do you mean topping/fimming?...

im in a situation myself cuz my lights as high as it can go and my taller plant is only about 5inches from it... :/ .. but i dont think i have any options really jus to hope it doesnt get any taller lol... is there anything i can do??

HTS is basiclly bending the stalk in a 90 degree angle when the plant is older. Its a form of suppercropping. I will be doing this. Its a great way to save a plant from topping, and hey if it breaks when you snap and you cant save it. Have some rockwook or whatever you choose to clone in. Do this as a back up just in case. Topping is an option, as well as lst'n as she grows, but hst is an instant fix. You want to rub the stem so that the cambium layer pops but does not break, then bend it into place. YOu do this by slowly rubbing and messaging the stem till you feel that pop. then bend into place , and Tie it down like you would LST'N. Does this help?

yeah she's fixed now. I just wanted to show her leaned over. I have another one she's just harder to photograph, shes tucked away. And damn do they smell!!!Love that natrual outdoor smell!!

My friend I'm trekking around putting back together my garden and getting everything ready. All that's on my mind is the legendary greats I used to grow that I must recreate. I indeed grew the real Alaskan ThunderF*ck continuously way back, with many other greats, made seeds, labeled everything, lost everything in my divorce, and am now ill and on the same mission If I find some I will let u know, and vice versa.:nicethread:

no luck on finding it. My sis in law just got rushed to the hospital and now need s a heart transplant, so I've been in and out lately. Sorry if I have late responses the last few days. No luck on the mag. I will definetly let you know asap.
 
Your NFT looks awesome! Looks like you've skipped some sites - are you running about 4 plants per 4' tube?

Thanx for your concerns all. Definetly apperciate the support. My sis is ow at home but will be getting her surgery after the first of the year. But thias will just be a temporary fix, she's been pushed up on the donor list, but we just dont know hw long it will be or if it will come when its to late. Bummed, very bummed..

OBX: Yeah pretty much 4 per tube. Its allowing light to penetrate throughout the whole plant, so the extra length isn't a lost. I'm waiting on mother rainbow to finish up so I can supercrop the tallest and this will level the canopy and allow me to bring the light down a bit, just cant lower it to mush, last time it was to close to mother rainbow she got bleached fromt he light. I' m waithng on my neew lones to root and will be setting up another 20 site of the exact same system. I think I may just put a screen up and see what happens.
