draught time??? I read the exerpt but its a little to wordy for me...or Im just dumb either way can you break it down in lamens terms for me butcher? And this is yet another example of something Ive never even heard about in my 10 yrs of gardening...draught time??? plz explain I am very curiouse as to the technique of this draught you talk about. Also I know the H&G says it only needds to flush for 3 days but other nute programs say the same and you still have to flush them for atleast a week before its even a semi decent smoke, so Im curious if this 3 day flush thing from H&G is BS or maybe it applies more to tomato growers or something. I just dont think that even if I was told 3 days was all it needed that I would follow the directions just because theres nothing worse than unflushed buds, YUCK! Plus it just doesnt seem like 3 days is long enough to flush the nutes unless its organic based and then in that case things are a little different but 3 days??? All Im saying is be carefull and ask others (knowing you youve already researched the hell out of this though, lol.) what they did and if they did only flush 3 days was it enough?? Im just not sure if I buy it is all. Some of the original nute regimens called for a 3 day flush and it was nowhere near long enough for our purposes...matbe it was great for tomatoes but for something your lighting on fire you want every last bit of nutrients out of there. lol, like I said knowing you you have already researched this and have a half dozen reassons as to why 3 days will be enough, lol but Im just puttin in my two cents, lol. Your just so damn informed Butcher!!lol. But yeah when you get a second could you please explain the draught thing?

Oh and old grower dude, I have some blue cheese that originally came from legends and it is the most incredible smoke I have ever had! For real its my all time favorite! You can check out any of my journals and see it growing if you like. Its not a massive producer but what it does make is super dense and the smell is like blueberry muffins warm and with butter! Just super sweet smell and taste, nothing compares in my books, nothing! Tangerine is close but I still give blue cheese the number 1 spot. I hope yourimpressed as much as I am when you get to smoke it fiunally. But even beside the smoke just the smell of it flowering is just...WOW! Hope you enjoy it man! I sure do!!

Yep, some folks don't believe that much in flushing - but then again, some people don't believe in using deodorant, either. Maybe less of an issue if you're vaping, but why take the chance? Anyone who's cured their stuff properly knows the difference it makes.

In DWC and using GH I'd usually flush for ~7-10 days, then cut 'em down. If you have to, you can do it in ~3 days and change the res out frequently with fresh water, but that's pushing it. If I'm growing from seed and deciding on a mother I'll flush a little less before harvesting most of the plant and leaving a little popcorn and as many leaves as possible before re-vegging. I like the popcorn, though - great for watchin' movies!

Thanks for the nute regimen breakdown, Butcher. I also like the Dyna-Gro products, esp. Mag-Pro and Pro-Tekt. Part of a complete nutritious breakfast!

Long story short. Giving your plants a drought period along w/ giving them light at the same time allow the plant to thrive to stay alive(dindnt mean to make that rhyme..lmfao)And basiclly pull out whatever it has stored away which in turn will help flush as well as increase in potency. Then the dark period allows the trichs to amber up, if thats what you want.

The 3 day thing is for the H&G nutes. They are sooo clean and pure that the 3 days is more then enough with the H&G. yeah that Pro tekt I use to help up the P.H. It makes a big difference ever since I started using it for that purpose. Thanx for the support all:thankyou::ganjamon:

So can you explain what you do for your plants as far as draught and stuff goes? Like a step by step of the process you use? pleeeaaase? And have you heard other people (that have used H&G) say that 3 days is enough to flush with H&G or are you just going by what H&G says on the bottle? Just curious.

after admiring your candy store, i had a question about the pro-tekt. i've been readin about the benefits of silicon and i checked out the pro-tekt site and saw that it is a silicon supplement. can this be used start to finish? i've just triggered a few days ago (you could check my gro from the link and offer any comments), would there be any benefit to start supplementing with pro-tekt now? :hmmm:
 
Yeah you can use it along withyour normal feedings. Its ok to use from start to finish. I stay cautious about using any nutes during the seedling or cloning stage. However, once the plants have been established in there new enviorment . Thats when I kick in all the suppliments like pro-tekt. Think of it this way, your giving them a little boost in cellular production, which means a (((STRONGER & HARDIER))) plant.

Damn butcher i wish i had food like that for my babies, what a great pantry! If your plants were stoned they would never have a problem finding munchies lol :grinjoint:cant wait for those seeds to grow man great strains i had a buddy that had a big buddha cheese mother outside last summer and that thing got to be almost as tall as his one story house i think it yielded about 3.5 lbs haha :ganjamon:
