are you really sold on this Butcher?? I believe just about everything you say and I do watch you, You were on me about H&G if you remember..I was doubtful of Liquid Light but now Im watching

the 3.2 lbs. was a joke. theres no way that plant would produce that much weight. I honestly think maybe a few ounces. But thats just a guess i'd rather underestimate then over due it, so no matter what happens if i reach my guess then cool, and anythin after that would be a plus.

Oh yeah i agree completely!! The rainbow was a mother. I have a few more mothers in the works at the moment. I'm planning on cutting my plant numbers down so 3 ft plants wont be bad, but thats later. I must say that PIT and GREENISLAD are my inspiration on the plant numbers.

Oh yeah i'll give full report once she's pulled off. My lil outdoor lady is rainbow shes in her last 2-3 weeks but i havent even checked her trichs just yet, when i do then i'll know exactly how long. And i will post the results for sure. I think that i'll have to do that tomarrow.

YEAH i gotta say this LIQUID LIGHT does what it says. I cant really attest to the whole turning a 400 watt light into a 600. But My rainbow kush has never acted the way shes is at the moment, I had my friend stop by and take a look at her progress and even he says the rainbow kush never stretches this long. I must really have to attribute it to the L.L. Thats the only thing that i changed up in my mothers regimine. I know i talk about it alot, but i cant believe the difference. When i spray it the leafs start to dance. Well not move around but they perk up like i've never seen before. Between that and The stretching period its gotta be the L.L. I cant see anything else causeing it. I've been using it in the veg area, and its giving me the same results. perky, waxy layer and grows faster then normal. I would be straight up and say dont buy it if it didnt work but it does. Well in my experience. The idea is to feed them at least 4 hours into the light cycle.

So i have an idea, to see if its just me playing into hype i will cut 2 clones feed one the LIQUID LIGHT and the other nothing. I think this would help us all out. I'll start a journal on it, that way its documented. And if i'm wrong i'll be sure to retract all that i've said to all, and if i'm right COOL!! then we all know..how that sound? :ganjamon:
 
I'm in! I have donesome reading on LL a few months back, even thought of purchasing some. They have it locally, so I will have to try it out on a couple of the clones. Maybe the sickest/smallest ones to see if it really works.
 
i got some fresh rooted clones that would be perfect. I'm going to go get pots for them today. Once they've been established in their new home I'll start the foliar program.

Any ideas should i start a new thread? Or post it here or on my what nutes are preferred? I'm up for whatever you all think..
 
so heres the outdoor rainbow kush. I never fed her the L.L and shes at 10% amber. The funny thing is that outdoor is supppose to take a lil bit longer then and indoor grow, well thats from my experiences. ANd she'll be ready here soon, prob in the next week.But we'll just have to be patient and see.Anyways heres she is:

How different are the flowering periods and other growth characteristics between the bubba and rainbow kush plants? If close enough, they could both be put into the same ScrOG setup.
 
You know everyone who grows inside ' no insult intened' just 'TRYS' to mimic mother nature. Fom the soil to the lites. But there is no way they can. I'm not saying you can't grow fantasic weeds indoor. But take those fantasic indoor plants outdoor's and WOW. Looks great dude nice spread of colors going there
 
Norcali, to be sure. I am going to Google to see if I can get a small minature sun, say 8 inches in dia. Maybe on craigs list...lol. I have given much thought to a green house, roughly 10' x 12'. Set it on a concrete slab, seal it the best I can. I think with a locking door it would pass Michigan Medical Marijuana regs/requirements for a "locked space".

Well as far as timeing goes they cacn be pulled at the same time.The bubba does beter between 9-10 weeks i've pulled it as early as 7 weeks but its definetly in its prime between 9-10. As far as the Rainbow goes it does well at 9-10 as well but the stretch is outrageous, and the buds are nice and dense but still get big. But the only issue would be that the bubba LOVES a heavy nute regimine. Where as the rainbow cant take the ppms as much as the bubba.Njoke i've ran the ppms on the bubba as high as 2200 and it didnt even phaze it.And the trich count is outragous.The pict that i have as my avitar as the plant that i ran that high, and i could of easly ran it higher, but better safe then sorry.Right?
And as far as growth pattern grows the bubba as youcan see stretchs and branches out. And the bubba likes to branch out but likes to keep her branches close to her stalk.I'll take some picts so you all can see what i'm talking about. But damn when she gets to a decent size she goes ((((crazy))).Shes dense perfect in a s.o.g i'd love to set her up in a scrog.That would definetly take her to another level, that i nor my friend with the original cutting has done, niether of us has done a scrog of her just yet. And as far as I know none of the people who had this cutting has ever done it before either. Not that there are many, trust me you can count them on one hand.

Well norcal. Gotta agree with you yeah we all try to mimic it. And i'd like to say there are alot of people who do damn fine jobs of it as well. But i think outdoor is the way to go durring the right season if you do it all just right. But i must say indoor give a potentcy that couldn't be reached outdoor. But the effects are sooo different. I WIll ALWAYS CHOOSE OUTDOOR OVER INDOOR ANY DAY!!. But mother nature only allows so much before she cut out. but thankgod for sunny california. I can get an outdoor harvest pretty much year around. Durring the "off season" I set a few here and there and they always come out great.I like to make sure i always have that outdoor flavor stashed away. I'm setting some out in the next week, they should be ready by mid-january. even with the rainfall they come out decent, not to their full potetial, but still really dank smoke.
 
LOL..I just went over my entire journal and read every post and man, thank you all for the comments and support. Last night i Fed the dirty girls and can you believe it they drank 5.5 gallons of water. Left my bottle bone dry. Mother rainbow is now drinking 1 gallon a night. Its time to increase her pot size tonight.It sux i can keep her in that room on the side any more shes just to big!!Its ok though i can fit 2 "dirtygirls"
in her spot. And to night i will be potting the clones. They will be not for the next grow but the fallowing. As i mentioned ealier they will be in soil so that i can control them individually til my breeding projects are done, then back to hydro. I love hydro!!.I'm tempted just to run at least one tube with maybe 4 plants in it. but who know i can change my mind. I've been wanting to convert it to aero so i think that will be my side project til i complete the soil growing.
See what i mean its so hard for me not to do hydro...lmfao
 
Thanx man!! definetly appreciate the compliment. I like the amber feeling, not to amber though just enough. I believe 50/50 ratio is just about right for me and my pain. However i will pull a couple a lil bit erlier just incase I need something durring the day, cause I really dont like taking my vicodin, it gets me way to wired.
 
yeah its got a real adverse effect on me. the way it works for me is just not good, yeah it helps with manging my pain from all my surgeries but it just doesnt allow me to sleep when its needed, then to top it off just knowing its an opiate doesnt sit rigth with me. I've had not only my best friend but other close people past away from opiate's so i get a erie feeling whenever i take it.

I could be one of those people.

Opiates and me are a bad combination and I probably wouldn't be here if I had to take them regularly. My family doctor would be the first to agree. He is not licensed to prescribe marijuana, but was very glad when told him that I had gone through the proper channels to obtain it legally, and he was astounded when I got on the scale and saw my 40-pound weight loss because I can now exercise without pain. My blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol have never been better. I think I've helped change his attitude towards MMJ.

MMJ takes care of my moderate back pain really well, and I can save the opiates for more extreme pain, which I actually haven't had since I started smoking MMJ for my back.

If I had to take opiates regularly, it would be a bad scene. I'm glad I live in a state that gives me that option.
