That's what I was thinking regarding the one large cola vs several even sized ones. That top cola looks nice, but I think overall yield might be better if I had topped it early on. Also I'm thinking there is such a thing as "too big", one of my plants is almost 7 ft, if you add the height of the pot it's over 8 ft. I've had to relocate it a couple times and that was a pretty big hassle. (I know, shame on me for complaining )If you top your plants after the 5th node you will get a nice bushy plant with plenty of colas but none of them will be as big as your main cola. Topping can help with yield but I love seeing that main cola mature. Like others have said, I top or train my indoor plants due to space but it also increases yield especially if you can keep an even canopy.
