Hey all, I just got some fabric 7 gallon pots. They look like they might hold 5 gallons. Do you guys keep them off the floor with something? I’m wondering about buildup of salts on the bottom of the plants in they sit on the floor. I’m not sure if air passing across the bottom would help or not. Opinions welcome...

I've used them sitting in catch pans. My pans are green plastic saucers from garden center. I wouldn't worry about airflow across the bottom

You should always keep pots up off of the floor. You don't want the plant being able to uptake those salts that your flushing out of it.

If you have the headroom, milk crates work great!

I’ve only got one milk crate.
Are y’all using the tent floor catch pan? Or something more durable?

Cool, can’t wait to see the real deal. The only thing I have with Blueberry is Crown Royal
(Blueberry x Purple Kush) and Blue Power (Blueberry x White Widow x Skunk #1) so I’m trying to decide between the two. The crown Royale was great last run. The Blue Power has a lot of cbd in it with medium thc at 14%. I still have a few weeks to decide. It will be fun to do another comparative.

I vote for the Blue Power. I would be interested in seeing how the Skunk #1 effects the blueberry and white widow cross.

I pick em up at local gas stations. I just ask the "cool guy" who works nights. Most stations will cough up a crate or two without any fuss. Freebies!

I've got a dozen or so... they're great because I can stack em to raise & lower my plants instead of my lights.

I usually use 5 gallon buckets from Lowe's. 2.96$. drill bunch of drain holes in the bottom. Reusable over and over. I'm a cheap bastard. Lol

My last grow. Drain to waste via shop vac. Didn't want mold or anything so lifted the plants two inches..

You could put a piece of wire shelving on a few 2x4 under them. I've made my own drip tables with 2x6 on an angle to catch my run off. I have wire shelving on top of it for my pots to sit on.

Mine are up on an old wheelchair ramp/platform with some 2x2 elevating it.

The fabric pots I used seemed way smaller than the gallon size advertised. They were cheapos from the zon. 5 gallon seemed like 3 maybe 3 1/2

Check the zon that's place you will find the best plant saucers. I've used thin slices of 8 inch pvc the keep my fabric pots elevated from bottom of saucer.

To elevate my fabric pots I use "DekProTek Modular 1 ft. x 1 ft. Deck Protector" but just checking Amazon they are expensive.
