Soil is very easy to prune the roots to keep it small, just shave 1/2" off each side and off the bottom twice a year, and repack in the same container right on the bare bottom then tightly pack soil around and on top. You'll be looking to root bind it between root prunes. This also makes the arboreal training very easy as the plant will be very firmly placed.

So that's my vote... Soil for Bonsai. . . . But I'm biased toward bonsai because it's another hobby of mine.

i was leaning towards soil for slower growth, as i dont need a whole lot of clones however upon thinking i decided to stay in coco the maroc is a fem seed so i put her in a 3liter hempy, i decided to stay in coco for a few reasons
1. mixing all kinds off different nute solutions with different ph's makes for more work and possibility for mistakes , i can just dilute down the veg solution for moms easy:thumb:
2.flushing in coco is cake,and it does not compact and break down like soil
3.im so used to coco it seems easier than soil to me,i have plenty of it on hand,and only 1 small bag of ocean Forrest
4. the seedlings are in coco already and loving it! i dont wanna stress them buy changing up on them
5. i can always switch to soil later if i want
i like your plan jandre and if i had more ffof and any nice pots i would do it
but i figure if they are growing to fast i can feed less and im sure thers plenty of ppl that wouldn't mind some free purple clones i can think of 3 right off! :high-five::thumb: so i repotted this morning and took a few pics
:thumb: these baby's are taking off the roots were insane! after only a month since germ i was floored i never saw any thing like this in soil not in a month, maybe 2 months lol this is one reason i love coco! :love::love::circle-of-love::love::love:
these pics are from yesterday and today, now that they are in the hempys im expecting mass x-plod-in growth they are done with the lil' box and will be moving to the new spot tonight they sure have green'd up now! enjoy the new pics i know i love looking at them, oh i forgot to mention ,check out the node spacing thats what my lil' diy cfl array does its great for up to 2x2x2 box im wondering what it could do if i switched out the 23 watter to the larger 42watt cfl's would do,hmmm

Dang brother sounds like you been working hard over there...i see your babies are coming along nicely can't wait to see what all this purple is going to do...if I like the way things go here I'll finally get a purple strain or two...so looks like your the guinea for me on the purple lol

I grew up on the fake grap when I met BID he got me eating real butter now that is all I can eat. I can taste the difference and to be honest I do not want to put anything that is not natural in my body if I can help me.

i like to let the sunbathe for a few hours a day when i can, they seem to like the fresh air too:thumb: prolly 2-3 hour 2-3 times a week till flower:high-five:

I have my grow right next to a window and I have it open all day/night sometimes I'll put them in the window for air/shade light.... I never new that shade actually contained so much light... (im a newb) it's more of a blue hue. Fresh air is great :D!

I also blow slowly on all the bud sites and think good things...haha im a tool but hey they bring me such joy everyday gotta give em something. :D

butter report!!,,,so spiffy made some brownies last night with some of the butter i made, only one test i had 1/2 a brownie, and it was late it took a little over an hour i was almost asleep and that dang sativa dom butter ressurected me ,made me wake up and watch a movie i was laying in bed almost out and i noticed i was feeling less pain and "floaty" then my mind started turning ,that was it i figured out i was medicated ! yes my butter works! it was not a waste of time!, but i could not sleep yet! lol

question!!! so im trying to decide how to top these new plants, i have not topped one in a long time i usually lst, but i want a mother this time the purple maroc will be the first mom, i think i'll have 2 im hoping RPK will be female but im sure of the 4 i'll have at least 2 females since maroc is fem seed, but i want lil' lolly pop moms not swirly multi toppz i get from lst style, so im asking for any formlas you guys use to create a nifty mini lolly pop tree mom, or if there's a thread/tut i have not found:adore::peace::thumb:

hehehehehe, I have a pretty good bonsai you might want to take a look at. And you can follow along with my <<GK>> as I do a bonsai style on her. She's got the perfect structure for it. The other two, Sourpuss and Thing2, will probably just get removed from the Maternity Ward, and flowered out.
