oh hell im whooped,,, i have been going since 5:30 this morning, had a 8am dr appt,bill paying,grocery shopping,taxi for my mom, and more...all on 2 1/2 hrs sleep, gasp! finaly got back home 13 hours later! spent myself broke lol! but i dont need to leave the house for a week at least!!! unless i want to..

~1970s grower~ no worries bruddah! i would forget my ass if it was not attached! yup i planted straight into the coco after the seeds had a 1/4 inch of taproot showing i did pre charge the coco with bpn 2ml per gallon grow /bloom i think it was not enough as the seedling were looking pale till i upped it to 4ml per gallon but yeah coco is perfect for new lings

~jandre2k3~ yup you got that right i started 6 seeds 4 were purples 2 were not (white widow,diamond girl) they both sprouted and died shortly thereafter so this will be an all purple grow!! and im am so very ok with that i have wanted to grow purple anything for years and now i have the chance to work with 3 different strains 4 if i pop the fem purple power i have, but i want to save it for later so this will be a purp lovers haven im betting you'll be checkin in often my purple brother!! hehehe lol

~Queentokelove~ thanky you for the kind words ,yup i have dealt with some shitty stuff for sure, but you cant stop me im like a virus you can send me packin but i'll be back stronger than ever!! lol spiffy works full time and has her hands pretty full with lots of things besides she helps me alot, and is currently growing miniature roses i got for her, (i dont give dead flowers) and they are doing great shes using bpn on them, and will be starting some cannabis after we get more space avalible for it

mini update,, the kids are hungry again loolking a tad pale again, but growing fast, the nute solution is not cutting it. i bumped it up today to 6 ml of both the bloom and grow bpn 2 part blue max and a tsp disolved epsoma garden lime, 2 drops ST ppm 650, tap is 450 ppm so thats 200ish ppm nutes per gallon they seem to really like the GLR light schedule heres a few pics

Oh ok, just got mine on Friday, I think. I want to clone, I have the clonex. I just don't have a dome, can you do it without one? I tried to clone once but they died. I later found out that I didn't scrape the stem...Live and learn. Plus atm, I don't have enough room for clones. I have 3 ready to start flowering any minute. But I also have 3 more that will be ready for flowering by the time the first 3 get done. And then another 4 behind the second 3. Then finally the lemon skunk and the big bang since those are the last ones I germinated. Wonder how long that will keep me in smoke?

well heres my clone technique qweenie i trim up my ladies on the 21st day of flower yes flower, (sometimes i keep a mom and sometimes not) all the shoots get inspected for clone-ability then after making my choices (i try to see it as a mini plant) i get a cup of distilled water with a 1/2 tsp h2o2 in it drop all the cuts in stem down,then i take a pair of very sharp scissors (they cant smash the stems at all) i cut at a severe angle then i split it about 1/4 of an inch up from the bottom,,with a new razor blade (i use an xacto knife) and lightly scrape the outer skin of them 1/2 to 1 inch up, i dip in water again then i dip them in rooting powder (currently i have "rootone" from home d) then i stick them into those lil peat pellets you expand in water (i use distilled or ro with a few drops superthrive and a few drops like 1-2 ml grow nutes, last time it was fox farms grow big) and then into whatever makeshift dome i have come up with the last 2 times it was a plexiglass beef jerkey box i was givin from the gas station, cleaned out really well, you can see it in the first page of my first journal.
but i want to try something else thats a bit bigger i will put up a couple pics to show what i will use for clone box #2 its a top from a birthday cake and the bottom from a veggie platter ,both from the local supermarket,
then i fold a bath towel set that on top of a common heat pad set the "clone box" on top and mist them once a day if to much water pools in the bottom i pour it off, i also talk to or breath right on them so they get some fresh c02, with this method i have had 99% success only lost 1 in the last 4 clone sessions (i think i forgot to cut/scrape &dip that 1) thats about 48 well 47 clones you could use almost any container that allows light in ,does not even have to be clear white works too, i once used a big plastic ice cream container the ones that hold like a gallon, i have also used lil plastic dixie cups filled with pearlite or coco instead of peat pellets ,
you could make a "dome" out of taped together straws/coat hangers/chopsticks etc and wrap saran wrap around all but the bottom
just need it humid as hell and warm, a lil 13 watt cfl 6500k about a foot away is all u need 4 light, i usually have the first root in 4-5 days but by 7-10 always
thats it easy peasy lemon cheesey!!!
no reason you should have to buy seeds anytime soon if you dont want to, and clones grow and flower faster than seedlings cuz they are the same maturity "age" as their mom, oh and you can even skip the rooting horomone if you dont have it ,,it just takes longer and more may not take cuz the run out of stored energy heres the pics

i decided to pop 2 of my first cross i made last year i call it "TRAILORTRASH"
oh and 2 of the second cross "GREENDREAMZ" they went into my germ jar last night,
i want to see what they do under hps and with the 2 seedlings that died i have room for a few more and i wanted more options for breeding, im going for lots & lots of seeds this time and lots of crosses my replacement ballast is in, makes me happy!

well little is known about them but i can tell you this about trailortrash its mother is a sativa dominate landrace strain from mexico i have been told its called "papo oro", its uppy daytime not to strong sativa high,very strechy and better grown outside, it is the strain im growing in my other journal,its father is a unknown heavy fat greasy indica dominate plant that is good for indoor sog with a tendency to turn dark blue to indigo when exposed to cold,very easy to grow,and very stoney couchlock effect after an inital 5-10 min panic attack, good for sleep and eating 500 dollars worth of groceries,lowers blood pressure to the point where if you stand up to fast you will get dizzy and see stars, strong and resinous

now about greendreamz ,,well i just described it its the indica dominate one!! lol thats what i call it due to the knockdown power so in all fairness its not really a cross i created i just bread it for seed incestuously
for the last few years thats about it

Smells like cat piss when it's bricked. Pretty good daytime migraine meds. Doesn't come close to Green Cr@©k, though for migraines. Of course all of it is illegal down there, and carried a might hefty sentence if busted.

yup thats the stuff,i got the original seeds from a friend and he called it papo oro aka mexibrick and told me its old genetics, landrace exported here(US/southwest) for decades and it is much better when not grown as a commercial crop,and bricked,i have to agree growing it out several times it never really reminds me of the brick stuff,seems much better, the nasty catt pee smell hits around the 3 week of flower and if allowed to mature properly fades to a more traditional cannabis fresh green smell thats not to bad really,a bit minty, its good to me for a daytime get up n get busy smoke, not much for pain for me tho, spiffy loves it for migraines

im really big on diy, over the years i would guess i have saved myself 10,s of thousands of dollars, i figure if i can get the same or better result with whatever im ok with it not looking as pretty, my coffee can hydro cost me 0 to build and just some time, and i love creating things anyway, i looked long and hard to build my own hps rig, but ballasts to fit the 2 70watt hps bulbs i got new at a thrift shop for 1$ i could not find cheaper than it was to buy the 400 hps, and its more power than i would have had, see id rather spend my $$$ on things i cant build or create"yet" lol, like i figured out i can build an areo cloner for 9 bucks,cuz all i need is a pump, but if i can find 1 at the thrift shop or a yard sale...hehehe it becomes a challenge to see how much i can build,and save with diy, you would prolly be surprised at some of the things i have built,and on top of it all im really big on recycling or as its called now going "green" lol
if you have questions for me feel free and please do ask im always willing to help if im able

Well, Irish, this doobie I smoked has got me feeling, uh, what's the word? Adventurous(sp?) so I think I am gonna try to clone from plant 1. She has only been in flower for two days. On the diy tip, I was thinking of trying to use a milk jug as the cloner thingy. My thought was from when Gittergreen told me to tape up the bottom of some of my milk containers because light could get through to the roots. So I am thinking the light can still come through but with the top half of milk jug being used as the top of the dome. Real ghetto I know but doable, yes?
