The Answer's Hydro Revelations

Everything is DIY! Lowe's sells the buckets with lid for about $4.[/B][/COLOR]

5 gallon bucket's are on sale now at Home Depot for $2.48.

Nice, that is a great deal! I need to find a 3 gallon bucket for my new project, but can't seem to find one anywhere!

Garden update later tonight, when the lights come on.

Thanks C5Rftw!! Yeah it is rewarding to build your own. The extra space is nice and I use 5 inch netpot's, so I can still put six gallons in and it comes to 1" or so below the cup.

hell yeah. Im on my 5th design right now, getting better everytime!... Do you think bigger net pots help weigh down the plant better. I have a problem(a good one actually), my plants get so big the wanna fall over. I think more weight at the bottom will help with that.. Im am still using 4" pots. thinkin about maybe a 6" pot and 4 of em in a 27 gal res with 18 gal water nutes for the next one... That sound like it might help my problem of falling plants? thx for any input..

I think the five inch netpots are perfect. They definitely provide more support for the plants. I never have a problem with them tipping over.

Thats exactly what I wanted to hear. I know this grow from seeds for the first time might go wrong am Im ready to kill some males but I am really excited about it.. First time without clones.. any help during the grow would be great man..

Absolutely, let me know when you have any question. Are you going to use rockwool to start the seeds? I like using Rapid Rooters, they are much easier to work with.

Alright its garden update time! Everything is coming along really nice. My Killing Field and Killing Kush are starting to fill in and the clones in the stinkbud are stretching for the sky. The last Wonder Woman has started to flower as well. The killing Fields bud sites are starting to turn purplish, hopefully that is a sign that I have the purple phenotype. If they look this good now I can imagine how they will look in another 8 weeks!

One big happy family!

She is still stretching!! The KF is just over four foot at this point.

Here are some of the buds on the Killing Kush. You can tell it has more Indica genetics, then its Sativa heavy sister Killing Fields.

If it turns out, that it really is the purple genetics on that KF, the smallest clone is getting pulled back into the veg room, so I can re-clone and keep the genetics alive!:hookah:

Congrats on the purp!!! :yummy:

How long can you have a plant in flower and still move it back to veg?

You can "re-veg" at any point, but the longer you wait, the longer it takes to revert back. But the clones are still young and haven't begun to flower yet, so it wouldn't take much to snap it back to veg.

:yahoo: Look at them go!

Answer, have you ever seen anyone flower with T5's???

I believe someone has gone all the way, with T-5's, Scaredeecat maybe? If you can do it with CFL's, I wouldn't see why a T-5 wouldn't do a great job.

looking great

Thank you!

i would say great results:thumb:

Thank you! You're probably right!

Very Very sweet Answer. I am strongly looking towards some Killing Fields next time I order some beans. Major Tom said he got a purple pheno as well, and I'm not positive but I believe MC also had purple pheno's. If that's the case then 3/3 is an awesome ratio. Sannie must really have the purple pheno tuned in perfect to get it consistently like that. Awesome, plants look amazing as usual, I can't wait to see them in another eight weeks either!

green i did, veg and flower with the hydrofarm 4 foot 8 tube t5 and cfl side lights

That's what I thought!

Thanks Jonny! I am very pleased with Sannieshop so far and will definitely order from them again. Shipping was quick too!

What are your favorite strains? I'm starting to think about my next grow a little and want to have some potential strains in mind.

I'm currently growing some blue mystic, wonder woman, and northern light. They will (fingers crossed) be my first experience with name brand bud.

I was very impressed with the Wonder Woman I grew out! It had nice compact, fuzzy nugs and great flavor!

From my experience any Kush or Haze strain, Blueberry, Cheese, Blue Cheese......and the list goes on!
