The 4x4 Grow Tent Club

Setting up auto pots is a real pain in the bum, directions are horrible.

Quick question.. since were all in 4x4 tents or close to it...

What are some of you using to control temps at night..

Tents are in basement.. lights out lows are reaching 64.. would like tostay a little warmer..

My controller now alows me to set a range.. which is great for daytime..

But i need a seperate range for night time... maybe im overthinking it..
Is my only option a seperate thermostat plugged into a timer set to power a small heater during the "lights out hours"?

Know what i mean?

I run a small oil filled heater when it gets real cold but I don't have to do it often because the light is running at night which keeps them warm. I try not to let it get below 60F in the day when the lights are out.

The gorilla glue #4 had a bit of a lean to it tonight when I unzipped the tent to feed them. They are now @ 50 day 12/12.

Just flipped my photoperiod plants to flowering about 12 days ago After my autos had finished up. Kind of neglected my watering because of taking care of my mom with her knee replacement, but since I started to water regularly. The plants seem to be looking healthier and stretching a bit this week. (Top L-R Dr Seedsman, Purple Urkle and Bottom L-R Do-Si-Dos and Purple Bud)

Can you please post a pic of the heater. I'm having temp issues too. Thanks :)

If you can set a range which activates on either end set your low end for your night temp low. The system won't turn heat on until it drops below that setpoint.

65 is warm enough over night. As long as the roots stay above 50°f your fine.

If your really set on running additional heat they sell thermostats with an optic sensor so you can use them from day only or night only. There are also several grow room controllers that have day and night setbacks with room to plug in all the equipment you need to control it but they aren't cheap.

Here's my tents today.

Here is what is going on in my 4 x 4!

Harvested one of the Skunk two days ago but it was not really ready, was @ 66 days but more clear than cloudy. Would like a few Amber, but I may just harvest it at day 70 to 72.
Will harvest the BlueBerry around the same time as it is about 50/50 cloudy/clear. The G13 Haze is still around 10 plus days.
It's all trich dependent!
