The 4x4 Grow Tent Club

Interesting. How'd you do that? That would definitely fill the tent.

I poked holes in my pot, and got a little 18 gauge wire to run through it and I'll slowly twist the wire on itself shortening the size of the loop it has in turn pulling down the stem. Do it slowly but surely over the course of a few days but you can get your stems completely horizontal!

I cut the wire after a few weeks and they generally stay pretty trained down.

Insane. I'm gonna try it. Thanks for the tip. I'm still pretty new with the indoor stuff. On my outdoor plants I just top them and supercrop a little bit. Then let them grow. This will be something totally new for me. Thanks!

I use that saucer pan on bottom as my tie down location. I poked about 10 holes around the edge and used it as the tying points.

It has a hole on bottom to drain water into my flood tray though.

That's beautiful.. out of curiosity how many is in there? Here's a few of mine that's unfortunately been moved to my buddy's house. This is my 3rd grow and I took a crack at topping them. Definitely worth it lol

He has a 5x8 room built in his basement

Nice stuff n nice space man!

That's 5 plants, definitely could have gone 4 tho

Vegged 2 months with some merciless training lol it's all in my grow journal if your curious how to keep a plant 6 inches tall after a 2 month veg .

These girls are pure sativa and they stretched about 4 times the height so I am lucky I trained them so low, I had no clue what I was in for :S

@LB07
Sorry bud, in no way feel as if I were a smart ass, and if you felt that I was I do apologize. I am here to learn and share what I have learned.
If you look at my pics you will see I do not tightly bind the branches, I do not want to damage them at all. In the above pic you can see where most at hook and tie to screen, the few at are directly tied to the screen are loosely bound. When I run horizontal I tie the branches to safety pins attached to the smart pots and loop.
Anyway not looking to fight or make enemies, so peace my friend.

LST? I prefer HST. LOL

Did you SuperCrop those plants or just bend them. There is a guy, Sedan, on another site that grows vertical in a special container he built. He has 3 or 4 growing vertical around a the light and fastens his plant back to the screen similar to my tying. But he also takes two plant from the end of his container and does not really a super cropping but a Monster crop, it is cool. I hope he does not mind me sharing his pics.
The two plant nearest the camera are the one he SC's,

Also just to point out, me and GR got into a little scuffle, I'd like to apologize for what I've said. Neither of us should've spoken that way! We took it to PMs and sorted things out. Hopefully best buds will come out of it :).

What's going on in my 4 x 4!
Day 49 12/12

Yesterday was the 7th week of flower. Took the plants out and removed the netting to rearrange the bud and
tuck them back behind the net where needed.

@FutRfarmer, Bud I do really enjoy this, good retirement hobby, keeps me active, crawling around amongst the plants keep me ajile, carrying 2 - 5 gallon buckets of rain water helps my strength and balance, and the smoke really helps my head, LOL

He gr865, could I get a look at your watering setup? I've seeen some shots of it before where you have a manifold attached to a pipe rising vertically up between your pots, and the hoses distributed from there. Do you just run a pipe to your reservoir from that? What kind of pump do you use? I'm trying to put together something similar, but I had just planned to leave the manifold at the resevoir and distribute the hoses out to the plants. Is there a reason for having the manifold centrally located like that (distribution of water, equal pressure, etc.) ?

Sure, I will get to it when I return home later today. I have made some changes, will show both.
