Great photo @Chuckeye - what ISO did you use?

I usually set in this order:
Camera is already set to Custom White Balance for my lamp
1 - frame the shot with zoom or lens choice
2 - set the aperture depending on how much DoF I want
3 - set the exposure to 1/250 or 1/60 if using a tripod
4 - set the fill-in flash to -0.3 to -0.7 stop, sometimes more
5 - adjust the ISO until the histogram is slightly high or slightly low, depending on the shot
Take a couple of test shots and tweak one of the above

I don't photoshop my pics at all other than resize

I shoot in RAW on a tripod and prefer to edit !

Aperture priority, ISO 1000, f10, 1/400.

Later in the grow I will shoot with a strobe ;)

Cheers

I don't use a tripod (anymore), I shoot RAW and always edit, f8 and whatever the light meter says for speed, I stopped using flashing and set a custom white balance. Whatever ISO is the slowest is what I usually use, less grain or noise.

I also use a 100mm macro lens.

Must admit, been a long time since I did the whole tripod/settings thing for a decent photo
Haven't seen much worth the effort this season but I know full well that's me not looking
