THC Biomed Clones - Opium & Atomical Haze

Re: THC Biomed Clones - Opium & Atomical Haze

Funny gambit, I've been thinking the same lately. I enjoy organic soil growing too much to switch just yet. Been a week or so since I removed all the soil from my plants, cleaned everything, and re potted in new everything. I also rinsed roots under warm water there wasn't a spec of anything left on the roots. They've miraculously recovered. First time in a while my plants have started to look healthy. I am thinking you've still got bugs in the soil man.

You're leaves look so similar to mine. The turn on the tips, with the pale green look, and those black spots. All was happening with the bugs in my soil.

OH I know I still have some flyers, very few but they are still around, I added more Diatomaceous earth today. I probably also have some of those springtails in there, but I repotted in a fabric pot and I am letting it dry out till it starts showing signs of drought lol.. and then when the DWC thing shows up, only my one very healthy plant is going in there, the rest are staying in the tent until they can be fixed 100% or die off.

The one healthy green crack is doing very nice imo.. much better then its twin (started same day both from beans) that is still in the tent with the opium plant.

Has anyone ever seen a stem structure like this??? very far from round, but I wouldnt call the plant unhealthy.. just has me curious tho

I've had stems of all sorts of 'shapes' and textures. I've never had ones like those, but seen many pictures. Plant looks very healthy. Surely just a genetic trait i would imagine.

Gambit, how are things going over there? Keeping sane lol? I have been monitoring mine getting new green growing but still slow. I'm hoping the roots are just working hard down under. I have noticed a few brown specs, and some leaf deformities, almost some silver sheen. Let me know if you see anything suntana.

Two of these have crawled out of my phone since I took those pictures this morning. Managed to kill this one and get a close up. Looks like I got thrips bad. Can't get spinosad soon enough.

Looook at those purple stems!!(leafs and main stalk) I am starting to think maybe thats a sign of dead roots.. yikes on the thrips, i dont have those guys forsure..

my seedling on the outside of the tent is looking amazing, and growing lots (ready to take some clones :) ... but everything inside the tent is unhappy, although the one plant that was showing mag deficiency has clean green newer growth.. so now its just why are they so slow haha

when DWC kit comes ill take some clones of the green crack and start growing some monsters.. sticking to seed from now on, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and once its established shouldn't be a problem moving on.. excited to see how recirculating dwc gets the roots going

Thrips are easy to get rid of with spinosad. They molt in the soil, so you should spray and do a soil drench.

I did a neem oil spray/drench to get me to next week when the spinosad arrives. This morning the plants are praying again. So it must have wiped out a bunch of them for the time being. Is it possible those larvae I found in the soil were thrips suntana?

Gambit, the entire stock of my one mother plant has been completely purple in so long. Its been a while since I've seen some green stems buddy.

Have you got your spinosad yet? You must still have aphids in the tent.

Spinosad has not showed up yet, the tracking scan says its in customs.. hopefully they release it..!

I am starting to think that suntana was right all along and my 'aphids' are just fugnus gnats.
Turns out fugnus gnat larvae will spin silk in certain circumstances.. (like under a rock with no soil)... Spinosad will help..

My one remaining purple stemmed plant is growing so slow I might as well thhrow it out. the seedlings which are almost a month older are catching up to it.. lol

I am very happy with the progress of the Green crack seedling that has been outside of the tent.
I have actually never had a plant be this healthy, not a single tip has turned any color but green!
(two tips were cut off because I physically broke them when lifting the pot)

its now under my gavita 750de turned down to 400Watts
It was taken out of the tent at its third node, now its on 6 nodes and 14" tall

I took two cuttings from it yesterday and will take a few more as it gets larger.

DWC setup should show up on thursday.. this guy is ready to be put into a larger pot, but I was thinking of converting it to a dwc bucket.. now im thinking maybe ill just upsize the pot on this guy, and use clones for the DWC thing since... this is finally growing well? getting an inch a day easy now

The two in the tent are doing better, still stunted growth compared to the guy outside of the tent.
The leaf discoloration that looked like mag uptake issues has been resolved and new growth is green.

The opium is still being a cu**... I almost want to just toss it out and move on with my life hah

No thrips will lay eggs on the leaves and drop into the soil later on and become adults.

That opium is like my one grapefruit. Dark red stems throughout. I am thinking the thrips may have infected it with a virus. It's so hard to say though.

I got my spinosad yesterday. Did a spray and a light drench. I did neem treatment a few days prior so no major change today, but they're looking better finally. I hope spinosad helps you out buddy.

Pretty sure customs isn't releasing it.. it entered customs on the 26th.. Oh Well everything going gooood here for once!!

changing soil, increasing time between watering and using the fabric pots have all been helping.

Dwc setup showed up, I'm gonna wait till new clones root and put those in, ill finish these in soil as they are.

Thanks sun, It sure does!

A good friend of mine sent me a photo of one of his purple plants in flower, I thought what a perfect illustration of what a "natural" purple plant should look like and the difference of where my purpling was concentrated.

Look at the petioles, green and healthy, rest of plant, purple.
In my suspect plants, the petioles and veins are all red.
(Talking about underside of the leaf)
My pic is a brand new leaf so it's just starting to become purple but every other leaf has full purple petioles.

Does anyone know wtf this thing is?? It's big.. Like the size of my pinky nail, has six legs and doesn't appear to have wings.. Found it running around in the top of a fan leaf.. Is this a one off thing or a very large soil insect? If there is more of these in my soil I'm gonna lose my mind

That's a bummer on the spinosad. I'm still having issues. Really stumped at this point. My leaves do the same, start white then slowly bleed purple.

I just searched through ever insect in North America I could find and I can't really identify it. Maybe like a young form of a cricket or something.

It was very unusual.. It would walk forwards or sideways or backwards very unlike a cricket from what I've seen. It died within an hour of being in the cup..
