Haha, thanks Killerbudz, I'm loving how it's looking myself, rather chuffed with it. Looking forward to watching them nugs fatten up now! I pulled just over a 1000 grams on my last one so would like to improve it by a couple hundred grams hopefully!

You are so right about the better the smoke, the less the yield !! I've had my share of those. i now have an og kush that under good times, wont give me more than 3-4 zs, and is the best smoke we grow !! Huge plant, small colas !! That's like all talk and no action !!

If temps is a thing plenty of silica will help also with high temps but sounds like u know what ur doing good luck dudeHello everyone and welcome to my third grow journal.
After finishing my second grow successfully with great results, I'm back and ready to grow and improve some more! A few slight changes from my last grow. I'll be using coco for my medium again but this time ill also be adding CO2 and A/C so I can control the environment a bit more precisely and make it though the warmer summer weather with out having to wait to start.
Grow information:
Strain - Holy Grail Kush - DNA Genetics - Feminized seeds
Number of Plants - 12 seeds germinated, I will pick the best 8/10
Grow Type - Coco Coir
Grow Stage - Seedling stage.
Setup - Rapid Rooters / Smart Pots
Light - T5 4x 54w bulb for now. 600w MH/HPS and a 315w D-Papilon to be added later.
Nutrients - Plant Magic Magne/cal 0.1 EC, H&G Root Excellarator 0.3ml litre, Plant Magic Bio Wetter 2ml litre, Great White Mycorrhizae half a scoop per 2 litre.
Water type - R/O water
Medium - Rapid Rooters soaked in above formula
EC - 0.2
PH - 5.8
RH - 60% to 75%
Room Temperature - 21c to 23.5c
Room Square Footage - 240cm/120cm/200cm
Pests - None Known
I went for the same germination technique again, I prefer the idea of not having to move the seeds from a paper towel and risk damaging a tap root by accident. I soaked my seeds in a glass with R/O water for 12 hours with a small amount of Plant Magic Bio Wetter. It says it's good for germinating seeds on the back so thought I'd give it a go. I kept the glass in a dark space until the seeds had sunk to the bottom. I soaked Rapid Rooters for about 4 hours in the following solution - Plant Magic Magne/cal 0.1 EC, H&G Root Excellarator 0.3ml litre, Plant Magic Bio Wetter 2ml litre, Great White Mycorrhizae half a scoop per 2 litre.
Once my seeds were ready to be planted I squeezed the excess water from a Rapid Rooter and turned it upside down. I used a sterile scalpel to make an incision in the bottom of the Rapid Rooter, I then took a sterile pair of tweezers and placed a seed facing hinged side down, half an inch down inside the incision. Once the seed was in place I pulled away the tweezers and the incision closed up leaving the seed snuggly in place. I then inserted the Rapid Rooter with seed into a small plastic holder, I followed the same process for the remaining seeds.
Once all had been planted I took them upstairs to their new home. I placed them on an over turned hydro reservoir inside my grow tent. I've placed the seed tray inside a propagator with the lid not quite fully on under a T5 light. Once all seeds break ground I'll star taking away the dome for a little at a time until they slowly acclimatize to their new surroundings. While the seeds are germinating I'll be running the light 24/7 so the first thing the girls see when they pop up is bright light. Once all seeds are established I'll be switching the light cycle to 18/6.
I soaked the seeds on Wednesday 12/07/17 over night and planted them during the following day. Hopefully not long now and we should start to see some babies starting to break ground.

Been wanting to do a journal for a while now I'm just to unorganised lol my clones have rooted along with some more strawberry cookies I've decided to use 3 clones and 3 seeds I've also started to germ them freebies yes the Mong u mental is dr kripplings the red dragon is Barneys I need to get some labels going don't want to be guessing again lol mate that strawberry cures well smooth and very long lasting stone can't wait to get the holy grail on the way it will prob be after this one ages yet .

I'm super unorganised, welcome to the club, haha! I wasn't blessed with that skill and I still managed to wack out a journal, it actually helped me stay organised and keep on top of things when everything was newer to me. Be good to follow your grow pal. Good stuff, glad the clones rooted. Nice man, sounds good, excited to see how they turn out. Nice mixture you will have. Thst strawberry tho, can't wait to see those go again. Really looking forward to when you get around to your grail grow also. I'm sort of narrowing my girls down already, I think there is 3 or 4 which are going to produce those nice big dense buds I'm after so looking forward to running all those good ones on the next run. Got a fair few of those airy bud ones again, looking forward to not wasting space with those next time. They just won't have the weight, looks or bud formation Im after. I'd recommend cloning your 6 pal and picking the best 1 or 2 to keep. Yeah, make sure you get em labeled pal, makes life easier in the long run. King tut sounds nice, I just checked her out pal!!

Cheers pal but I'm all guess work and trail and error lol no way near as organised as you bro! Both your journals have been amazing. I always feed at random times and random measurements my journals would be all over the place I do pull the rains in abit in flower and try to be careful with feed and watering though lol my next run I was thinking doing half grail and half king tut 4 of each both in scrog together they both have around the same flowering time so I don't think it would be much of a problem? That way my stash would be like a sweet shop lol

Beginning of my new adventure 2 critical clones decided only to keep two wanted room for my freebie seeds and the other 3 are the strawberry again on high alert for hermies this time though....stupid power indicator lol have you got any pictures to put up yet I'm dying to see the grail .
