Update time, day 36 of flower.

Thursday 13th April and today will be the start of week 6 of flowering.

We have a new mix of nutrients this week as follows:

Starting with 90l R/O water - 0 PPM

Bio Green X Force Silica - 13.5ml
Plant Magic Magnecal - 50ml 0.3 EC
Growth Technology Ionic Coco Bloom - 800ml 1.5 EC
Buddha's Tree PK 9/18 - 0.5ml litre 1.9 EC
Buddha's Tree Advanced Metaboost - 135ml/1.5ml litre

Final PH 5.8 EC 1.9

Once mixed I took 10l of water out of the reservoir and placed it into a separate bucket, I mixed in a scoop of Great White Mycorrhizae and I'll top feed them with this for their first feed of the night instead of the drip system watering them.

Not too much for report really, just a waiting game now!

Thanks BF, me too. Every time I open the tent the puddle gets bigger, haha. Things are looking great. Looking forward to watching the magic happen over the next 4 weeks.

Two of the plants are the slightly more sativa pheno type I think, their buds are different to the others. More thin and tall, hopefully they will still fill in nicely and dense up, we still have a fair while to go. Things are starting to get really exciting now .

Looking good now at your end terp mine look like hair balls full of pistils extra long pistils I'm hopping the buds start to join up nodes are spaced out more than I would of liked and not a lot of frost as yet I'm sure my last run was a lot more frosty .

They're looking beautiful Terp !! I hope mine look like that at day 36. Mine are at day 29. Almost looks like you will have to do some more trimming ? I'm glad you like your new found hobby.

Thanks pal, I'm rather happy with how things are looking so far . Not far behind bro, I'm sure yours will. You know I've been really thinking the same thing for a good few days, it's got so leafy again through the canopy. I think it's definitely going to need another light defol to help with air flow and light penetration. Gonna drop cultivator a message and ask him what he usually does as I know he is familiar with this strain. Am absolutely in love with the new hobby pal, it's the best . . .

Thursday 20th April and today will be the start of week 7 of flowering.

We have a slightly stronger mix of nutrients this week as follows:

Starting with 90l R/O water - 0 PPM

Bio Green X Force Silica - 13.5ml
Plant Magic Magnecal - 50ml 0.3 EC
Growth Technology Ionic Coco Bloom - 850ml 1.6 EC
Buddha's Tree PK 9/18 - 0.5ml litre 2.0 EC
Buddha's Tree Advanced Metaboost - 135ml/1.5ml litre

Final PH 5.8 EC 2.0

Not too much to report, things are going well. Just watching them grow and patiently waiting for these ladies to finish. Only about 3 weeks or so left now if I go by the breeders suggestions, I'll be keeping an eye on the trichomes tho and looking for around 10/15 % amber. These plants smell absolutley delicious and are rather sticky and resinous. Going to enjoy smoking this for the first time that's for sure.

Does anyone also have any good advice or experience on defoliation later on in flower? I think the ladies could do with losing some of the weight through the canopy as its gotten quite thick again. I think it would be a good idea to get more light to bud sites and to improve air circulation. I'm going to have a little read now and see what I can find out. I'm wondering if there is a specific time i should do it and also how much I can take etc.

From what I recall tomula saying in my last thread is he does a light defol. Anything that covers buds goes and if it can be tucked to do that instead.

Ahh BF, lovely, thanks for the info, appreciate it. I'm just having a look to see if there is a best time to do it, once I know when I'll be doing just as you said.

Man Terp!! U r doing the damn thing!! Quite a jungle u got going on in there!! U r bout to b well rewarded!! I can only dream of opening up a tent with a view like u have there!! U got things dialed in perfect and can't wait to c what the yield would b. Wish I could help on the defol questions but one person u could look up is Asesino he is pretty successful at the defol technique!! Either way HAPPY 420 and keep up the great work!! Also I c u r loving the coco like I am also!!!! Keep up the great work. Man I jus had to grab a towel to wipe up the drool!!!!!

mate defol but dont go nuts. take 20% off. the fan leaves have an important roll. def take some off but do it in one hit not bit by bit as its easier on plants.

Hey Pino, thanks pal. Definitely got a mini jungle going on and getting so close to making it to the reward at the end lol. Haha, Ahh thanks pal, you will do soon enough my friend. I'm also looking forward to seeing what they yield. I'm tempted to keep growing this strain a few more times to master her. Thanks for the help Pino, I'll go check out one of his journals. Oh man, I am loving the coco big time, what a great medium to use, glad you're also a big fan. Haha, I've been wiping up my drool for a couple weeks now, it's all good . .. Happy 420 too Pino!

Mr Cultivator, hope all is good pal and you're coming to the end of all your hard work. I will be selecticve and won't go mad Cult I'll stick to around 20%, I'll also tuck leaves when I can. Do you have a recommendation for a time which is good to do it, for example day 45. Yeah, I can't not agree with that, they need those little solar panels to create all those good sugars and for photosynthesis.

yeah around day 45. just depends what finish time is and just how developed buds are. last 2 weeks they smash the weight on and you dont want to disrupt this too much.

yeah im busy as fuck. working and doing a mass renovation of my new house. never stops. time for a quick drink then back to work
