Haha thanks pal, I'm just being picky. The ones nearest the heaters definitely are not stretching as much. Awesome, sounds good. We're be both pulling down some nice nugs not far apart. I like the selection you have going on there. Your training looks really cool too, sort of like some Mainlining I've seen.

I topped at 3rd. node & stripped all but the end sites, trained them to level for few days, then topped each again, so i'll have 8 sites per plant in theory. But now I got new sprouts developing, & trying to decide if i should leave them or stick with just 8 main sites. I'm sorta winging it ? Ha !! The ones in my lec tent had no formal training, other than super cropping here and there to level out. 2 more days, and chop, chop !!

Update time, day 21 of flower.

Wednesday 29th March and tomorrow will be the start of week 4 of flowering.

I'll be performing some defoliation tonight on and will upload some photos of the finished result.

Going to order a replacement filter kit for my R/O filter as the PPM is starting to rise from 0. I'll also be swapping over to a new mix of nutrients tonight as follows:

Starting with 90l R/O water - 4PPM

Bio Green X Force Silica - 13.5ml
Plant Magic Magnecal - 50ml 0.3 EC
Raw Omina - 4.9 g 1/4 strength 11 x 1/8th tspn
Growth Technology Ionic coco Bloom - 700ml 1.5 EC
Buddha's Tree Pk 9/18 - 22.5ml 1.7 EC
Buddha's Tree Metaboost - 90ml
Advanced Nutrients Sensizyme - 180ml

Final PH 5.8 EC 1.7

The plants closer to the radiators have definitely stretched less than the plants towards the back end of the tent. Canopy isn't as even as I'd like but once I remove some bigger fan leaves it'll open up the canopy some more.

Thanks BF, I think it's looking good too, just not quite as level as I wanted it to be. Practice makes perfect, I'm gonna keep at this till I've mastered it lol. A couple of the plants nearest the radiators on right side of the tent, some of the buds have only just reached up through the second layer of netting and as the plants go more towards the left side of the tent they get taller lol. Shouldn't be a problem once I open up the canopy a bit to let some more light through. I know, the buds look so cute right about now, quite a few bud sites there so I'm quite happy with that, just eager to watch them fatten up like you pal, I wanna see some big fat sticky, resinous buds lol ;).

Thanks Pino, I think things are looking good too. I think you're right, I am being a tad hard on myself, practice makes perfect. I had just envisioned a totally flat canopy loaded with buds, maybe what I envisioned is unrealistic. I think with some more practice tho it'll get better and better each time. They've really been putting on a stretch tho, your correct about that. Haha thanks pal, appreciate the kind words, got a long way to go and a lot to learn. I'm aspiring to be as good as our great teacher Mr Cultivator ;)!

I agree with u on every point! Great to have someone like the Cult to lead us or guide us should I say. But hey m no where near what u have going on but ur right we are here to learn and get better from each and every grow! Good job bud and damn that defol job must of took hours!! But know the energy can b focused where it needs to b!!!

The training looks really good, thanks for explaining what you had done. Looking forward to seeing how they get on. We're very close to each other on these harvests it's going to be exciting. Haha sometimes winging it works wonders lol, if the new shoots are level with the canopy and there is room for them why not leave them, more bud sites ;). Not long to go, cant wait to see how them beautiful nugs come out. Good luck, I'll be keeping an eye out ;)!

Tell me about it, they're going nuts!! Especially the ones furthest from the oil radiators.

The plant second in from the right on the first row seems to be smaller than the other 7 plants. Seems to be growing slower and not stretching as much and has smaller bud sites. Hopefully she'll pick up as the weeks go on.

Tell me about it, we're very lucky to have someone like Cultivator who is willing to spend their time to help others improve and learn the skills they need to succeed. 420 Magazine is fantastic and he's a great asset to the community. Exactly that pal, we're all here to learn and improve. Thanks pal, it took bloody ages and my back is killing me lol, worth it now it's done tho. That's it now that energy can be focused where it's needed, hopefully we can start watching these buds swell over the next few weeks ;)!

Hahaha, that made me laugh, proper front row seat. Bud swells should definitely be up for an Oscar, haha. Exactly same here, I went coco because of cult as well, he gets amazing results In the stuff. I know he's an absolute asset to the community. Same here pal, he always gets back to me when ever I have a question, even if it's a stupid one :p. I love the 420 community too, truly a fantastic place to be. Glad to have you hear pal, things should start getting excited on ;)!

Hi terp just had a good old read back on this journey I mean journal lol and I'm liking it a lot great job, I too use coco and I'm around 18 days in flower I only popped 4 seeds so I didn't bother with the scrog I'm now regretting it they're like monsters I've had to do some Defol early to stop the stretch or at least slow it down abit I've found the ones closest to the cool air inlet stretch more I thought I'd mention this as you was saying the ones near your heater didn't stretch as much so I'm thinking next time I'm going to shuffle the plants about abit anyways keep up the good work .

Hey Dandare, thanks for stopping by and joining the party. Thanks very much pal, really appreciate the kind words. Oh wow so you're not far behind me at all then, only a few days. Have you got a journal going and what strain are you growing? Ahh, we're both having the same problem. Mine have really been stretching the further away they get from the oil radiators, I have them close to one of the air vents but you can see the difference towards the back of the tent where the air is coming in with no heat. Yeah shuffling them around sounds like a good idea, can't do that with the scrog. Next time you will have to give it a go, I really enjoy using the net to help spread the bud sites out and offer great support at the same time. Thanks pal, I'll do my best :).

Update time, day 22 of flower.

We're now officially at the start of week four of flowering, exciting times ahead.

I was expecting to open up the tent to see a sad looking bunch of ladies today whilst they recovered, but to my surprise they look even better than they did yesterday before I defoliated them lol. All fan leaves are pointing up towards the light and they've continued to grow, they don't even seem phased one little bit by the defoliation. Bud sites are looking great and leaves around the buds are already starting to get covered with crystals. I'm starting to get really excited about this grow now. The canopy is receiving far better light to all bud sites since removing un needed fan leaves.

Been trying to work out how to start a journal for this grow but I'm too far in now I've worked it out lol I'm growing liberty haze from Barneys it's my first seed grow I usually start from clones but I fancied trying something different, everything is going great so far but I have found seeds take that little bit longer .
