Anyone have any pics and info they can shed on terpinator? Was going to give it a shot but am still undecided really..

I read a thread about the product, a while back when someone (might have been SweetSue, I really can't remember) started using it. The person who was discussing the product called it a "very expensive jug of dilute potassium sulfate, possibly with a little vitamin C / ascorbic acid in it." There was some comment about it giving improved buds - but the person who made that statement had not done any kind of side-by-side comparison, and might not even have grown the same strain before using Terpinator on it. The thread was on another forum, found via a general web-search, and I did not bookmark it.
There is (or was) a video floating around, in which Remo stated he got stronger bud when using it. Whether you place a great deal of trust in this person or not is up to you (he has both fans who consider his word to be golden and "anti-fans" who consider him to be a paid shill).
I also remember reading that someone who went by the handle of "Obs" did a grow using it on a website/forum called cannaculture and considered it to be snake oil.
Personally, I don't know. Whatever the ingredients are, its usefulness most likely depends on the individual grower, his/her chosen set of nutrients, and whether or not said grower is already giving the plants what they need in order to produce "best results." Which is a statement that can be used for almost any product, lol.
I noticed that the company that produces Terpinator is a sponsor, and that they have donated jugs to the winners of some of our monthly contests. Maybe you can find a current grow journal in which the gardener has used it on one or more plants, and not used it on one or more plants, of the same strain, in the same grow. IDK...

Thank you for the great input, basically put into words mine and im sure a lot of peoples exact thoughts and concern. With it being such an advertised product i would assume there would be more readily available info of trials and results. To me it sounds like you're on the right page with it sorta acting as a filler nutrient for common deficiencies maybe?

As a beginning farmer my main concern is quality and taste. My past 2 and only 2 harvests I've obtained looked excellent even smelled decent but the taste wasn't quite there even after curing in jars for 2 months w burping.

Hey dude. I personally love the product. My local supply store gave me a bottle for free when I made a large order there.
I started using Terpinator when I was growing some Iron Dukes. Then 2 SLH x Bubba Kush plants, my 4 LSDs and my 3 G13 x Cali Oranges.
I cant speak to scientific data or side by side comparison, but I have a pretty good nose. Each scent of each strain just becomes more "pungent" after I add terpinator. There isnt some new uniform scent thats added to them all.
I have read that it "should not" effect your E.C/ppms. Not entirely true.
At full dose, 3ml per litre, Terpinator raises my ppms by exactly 190. That isnt much for a full dose.
PS. I'd like to add that as far as I am aware, its for the terpine production and not for bud swelling. If I didnt recieve it for free, I would only have bought it if it was on special. It is very expensive, but I got it for free and I love it

Yeah @Chris Scorpio ran a side by side. I just have always used it. It really improves trichrome production.
Like you said it must not be used as foliar. I leaner it the hard way. In my current grow I've been using it since late veg at recommended veg dosage then recommended bloom dosage after flip. My previous grows were in soil which is known for better terpene production than my current coco grow. Man my house has never smelled that much! I was a bit disappointed not to see many differences in frost comparing to my previous grows. But the smell is definitely increased! The more the plants are approaching harvest and the more I have to add stuff to try to get rid of this strong smell in my house (and keeping it as it is in the grow space). So I think it does work. I already know I ll be impressed by the taste as well. I begin my first harvest by next week.

I ran the same strain with and without, I mean sure they could have had different pheno production, but the one with Terpinator was insanly frostyer than the other
Since I've always used it, the terpin increase is for sure noticable
It's always in my flower stage now
I use 1 tablespoon or more per gallon, in my 3 gallon DWC I'd toss in 4T ish
It's not cheap but the payoff is well worth it I believe
A buddy who grows professionally in WA told me it was a GAME CHANGER, I agree 1000%

I agree with Chris I think @Terpinator is great stuff. I use it like Chris does during flower. I feel it definitely increased resin, smell and trichrome production.
My hydro store stocks it now and he has turned a lot of his growers on to it. Seems all have had good results.

Yeah I'm not sure that much is needed in a grow besides base nutes, a PK booster and Terpinator. I can take or leave most stuff, but not my terpinator! And. Ot to brag, but it did grow me good enough buds to win a contest, so its gotta be legit!

Ill also add that the 2 best growers I know (in person not online) also rely heavily on Terpinator and wouldnt grow without it.

Used it, it is great but if your environment isnt 100% you may aswell just dilute your money down instead.
I have found it did make my buds taste a little better, a little better aroma but at the same time if i grown my plants at 25c all the way through i have the same result so 6 & 2 3's really.
What i would like to know is if anyone has used Resinator? iv heard and read some great reviews, apparently if you run the terp along side the resin you only need to add a PK as well as base bloom nute, no idea how true it is but iv been told the smell can be at least 3x as strong as usual, so make sure those filters are running 100%, anyone?

Couldnt agree more! Terpines and resin increase are last on a fairly long list. If heat cant be controlled, you are degrading what youre trying to add.

I just got a bottle and am giving it a go. I have a couple clones I’m not using it on. It says you can use it throughout the veg and bloom. It seem like it should be mostly used through flower. Using gen hydro with most the Fixins except diamond nectar and floralisious.
You're using it on one set of clones and not using it on another set (from the same mother)? That'll be an interesting grow to watch. Have you got a grow journal thread for it? If so, can you post the link? (Thanks!)

Save your money. I’ve tried it. I do like rock resonator. I did a grow with mammoth p and a waste of money. Most of these products you can get. Farmers have used them for years they rebrand them and since there in a grow store everyone thinks oh this must be better lol.
Study a product and don’t overthink it.
Growing is a simple process put your money in lighting.
I have a friend who knows light and aero ponics. 3lb plants a lot and he uses miracle grow. Yeah and the grow store says oh can’t use that taste like shit poison. Been eating tomatoes for years lmao.
Point is don’t matter what you use if the lighting is weakc. Always overlooked and under powered. If it isn’t you won’t need chemical to make up for it .
