Crazy idea of the day...
Has anyone ever attempted a CO2 treatment in their grow area with dry ice & water? I'm thinking about "bombing" the shed once a week with CO2 fog.

The room is about 99.9% seal-able. I'm thinking about closing everything up and setting up a bucket with a gallon of water and dropping a 1lb chunk of dry ice in. Let it sit until all gasses release.

Might make for a nifty little Halloween photo shoot as well. LoL

You could probably just leave the dry ice in an open container without adding water and it would increase the CO2 in the room for a few days.

However I would not sit in that room for longer than about 20 minutes without a co2 monitor.

When I order frozen food from amazon it comes in dry ice. The amount of CO2 given off by that is enough to lower the pH on a 135 gallon aquarium (next room off the kitchen) by about .2 (just temporary till I put it outside). It's about the same as having 8 or 10 people in my kitchen.

200 bucks for a controller, 30 for a regulator, and your local plumbing supply store can hook you up with a 20# tank. You will not be wasting it at lights off and can turn it off via the controller when entering the room. But you know this.

Edit: Having done above, it's worth the expense.

What do you see being the difference in your yields using CO2? Just curious.

Dropped the last 4 beans I plan on running with this group.
1- Cheese Fem, Seedsman
2- BB Bliss auto, Vision Seeds
1- Candida Fem, MMG

I think my #twinsie @newty may have a few of the same players in her line-up too.

3 or 4? LoL

Ok I really need to get back to the books! :D

That bubblegum pic is my fave out of those. Apart from the hybrid lovechild of paul mccartney and the cockknocker from jay and silent bob.
Haha I love Jay and silent Bob! I think you and I watch the same shows lol

Were we on the same wave length today or what!! Did you find anything out about my CO2 Enhancer thingy? It says to place behind a fan and above the canopy? Does it that matter that much where the co2 is delivered? Also is there a point in giving GeeGee co2 now to finish or should I just save them for the new girls?

From what I read, it is better to disperse above the canopy because all the co2 gas will sink. I read that it will really only produce drastic change if you're under hi-power light (thanks @InTheShed for pointing me in the right direction). Basically all the info you already have. I haven't really started digging yet because I played with toys all morning! LoL

I did not know they shipped frozen foods, very interesting.
