You would because you do!

I just got tired of fighting it. AC costs the most and there are more productive ways to win the fight.

CO2 seemed over complicated and costly, till I started using it.

There is one grower I know locally whom produces some of the best stuff taste and appearance of the bud, and it's all done with HPS and CO2 and roots organic soil.

Sure I have enough light for my little grow w cobs, Cobs and QB aside, I would buy 6 of those fixtures you bought for your shed and save the led for the veg area. I would use HPS in a second if I could and handle temps.

I'll have to research the CO2 a bit... I'm certain I could make it happen, just need to figure out more details.
You mind breaking it down for me "Barney Style" ... lol
How are you utilizing C02 in your set-up @nobodyhere ?

So far, I've never had any issue running my a/c to stay cool. It only seems to draw serious power when I crank it to "HI" and I've only had to turn it up a few times during periods of crazy outside heat. I insulated the shit out of the shed when I rebuilt it because I couldn't battle the outside heat and my heat from lights at the same time.

I am not an expert on this, and this is the first plant ive applied co2 to.

Basically find a place where you can get a tank and they refill. I started with a 5 gallon that lasted about a month. My grow shop has 20g exchanges for 20 bucks so I bought one and will use the 5 gallon as the holdover when I exchange the 20.

Buy a regulator on amazon, 30 bucks.

Buy a controller-this is where you need to research. 100 bucks to 2000. Mine was under 200. It monitors co2 leves and has a solenoid to control the regulator. I set my controller on at 700ppm and off at 1000ppm, I manually turn off the venting when running co2 for a couple hours. Some controllers can do both co2 and vent control...

The controller is the tricky part and getting co2 refills sourced cheap.

One of my 2 new lights arrived today. Package 2 has an identical light and a bottle of DynaGro; does not arrive until Monday.

Heat spiked 6° but I'm still able to keep under 80° in there without switching the a/c to High.
I put an 8" fan blowing right on the fixture to help keep it cool. Ballast is on top of the lighting rack where it has a/c blowing directly over it.
I think I'll still be able to manage everything the same after i put the second fixture in too. Good airflow is saving my ass.
I will be moving the 2 "China LED's" into my closet for a little seedling room.

I get up to 84 some times don't sweat it.

All the plants I have right now vegged outdoors while I was moving to the new house. They were loving life! Once I set up at the new house, under the LED's, they all started to stall. They just weren't getting what they needed.

The QB setup I want is about $1000. Wish I could swing that kinda cheese right now, but can not. LoL
HPS will get these girls to a successful completion, for sure!

Check Alibaba if you wanna drop some money on lights. Most the big LED companies get their lights there and then slap labels on the side. I got COB CXB3590 units for literally half price of anybody else from there. You make payments to their paypal accounts, so its tracked. I got delivery from China in 7 days twice.

Damn. The light coming under separate cover?
Yeah, light is flying solo... tracked it as soon as I got notified about the dynagro package. I was super pissed until I saw the light is ok. LoL

Whew!

So they resend?
Guess all the 420 mag discussions have left Amazon tapped out! Haha!
They refunded me and I'm gonna order from a local shop here tomorrow. I got my ProTect last week, so I'm running that with my AN base nutes until i get a replacement

Yo!!!
That's a monsta! Haha! I'm in the 1-2oz range on most autos. A "really good" harvest from an auto for me is anything over 3oz. But... the shitty LED's are gone this week! Found a pair of 600w MH/HPS fixtures with ballasts (refurb) for $250. I'm gonna switch up to them until I can actually afford that QB I'm drooling over.

:passitleft:
Hps- lights, we talked about this.....

Jk wouldn't mind using them myself if I could Manage the heat lol.
