This last group of girls i used a mix of Happy Frog soil, Organic Perlite, and Happy Frog soil conditioner, and have been getting Fox soil conditioner as a top dressing when the soil starts settling. It's like a little tea treatment every time I top them up.

Our local Ace Hardware stores have been carrying a good FF selection. Makes sense for me to try their nutes out. Always nice to be able to run down the road to pick something up in a pinch.

I was surprised. Ours have 6-7 different soils & soil amendments and also carry a bunch of FF grow/bloom/cal-mag type shit inside. Maybe 10 different types of their nutrients. The best part is; they seem to be expanding what they carry too.
 
I'm having a damn hard time finding Promix BX around here. Might have to start calling the small specialty garden centers this weekend but I'll see what the local Ace has on hand. They probably don't carry the selection they might in the heart of Texas though :). The really local Ace closed down about 5 years ago for an apartment-over-retail development so the nearest one is up a ways.

I've been using Dr Earth Pot of Gold but not sure it's worth the extra money. I've got a bag left but I can use it for the pineapples!

Check em out... I know our local Ace doesn't carry certain plumbing fittings that I use, but since it is in their database from other stores, they just order them for us.
 
Well, it turned out to be a shitty day down here. My mother in law finally decided to start snooping and found my plants. I knew it was only a matter of time after we allowed them to move in. Of course, she does not, and never has used cannabis so it is real easy to get judgy with me.

I told her I refuse to be uncomfortable in my own fucking house and she needed to leave because I refuse to allow someone around my family if I can't trust them. WW3 is gonna start soon, I'm sure. I moved every fucking plant and took off to the new house. Fucking nosey nettie

I honestly was waiting for her to call the law. She's definitely a "peach". The problem I have with it is that they were hiding in the depths of rattlesnake country. Nobody has any reason to be walking out there.

Locally we have a hydro/soil store here that is incredible....very cool guys and about 25-30% off amazon prices.

Sucks about MIL. Tell her it's better for you to smoke than to stick methadone in your arm or eat a bowl of hydrocodine for breakfast like one of my close friends.

I finally had the 'conversation' with my parents. They were more concerned about my ultra conservative wife freaking out. Then I told them she lightly uses when away from work for a few days.

It's going to work out. Be honest, mature and don't get defensive or aggressive about it. If she liked you before and her judgement changes, it's best to know now. You can honestly make the best of this, and possibly change someones incorrect negative opinion on cannabis.
