Temple Of Bloom

I've been trying to pick a few here & there from the hot seed breeders to see if they're worth the hype. Been planning on hitting Barneys during this promo but Sub-cool has been everywhere on insta lately so, of course I had to look.

There a little pricy for unsexed. And as shed said, one can get 5 males pretty quick.

I ordered 20 of one variety, and the first 4 have been male.

60-70 is what I give for HSO fem stuff. But I doubt 120 bucks is going to kill retirement.

If you can isolate a female to clone, or make fem seed, it makes that expense worth it pretty quick.

That's the other side of the arguement I'm having with myself. I really want to try my hand at breeding in the future. I've always treated males like the plague. Maybe I'll find some less expensive regs to try first...
 
Knocked out a bit more work on the grow house...
Plumbed in a deep sink, that will run out to a weeping drain. I plan on putting a garden box right outside where it drains.

Outside temps have been triple digits all week, inside has been 72°-78° all week.

Ordered an 8" carbon filter/duct fan kit today. That's the last off my "needs" list. The "wants" list is still very long.

I bought a bag of 50 unsexed afghani seeds when I was in CO. It was too good a deal to pass up. I love afghani and it's getting hard to find straight landrace anything.

Would love to find some acapulco gold unsexed uncrossed seeds.

Your remodel out is looking good. A doormat is a good idea to not bring outside in. I would love a space like that....have the means and the room....I would porch that shed and put a hammock outside! Maybe throw a three improved blackberry bushes (look for navajo or arapaho-no thorns)....those bitches will put to good use any leftover moisture/nutes from that weep line. Some trellis and you will have a nice shade break for the shed. Just a thought.

Rough working in 104°. Even with the A/C ripping in there, I was in & out so much I got burnt out for today.

Hi Preston I was reading through your journal and ran across this. I personally really like allot of subcools gear, at least his older work. I've grown out 4 of his strains and have a fifth one going at the moment. Jack the ripper is one of my personal all time favorite strains

Yeah, that's what attracted me to that Jack Skellington strain. Jack the Ripper is on my top 10 list of favorite smoke.
