Dunno P9, if you're not seeing loads of trichomes I'm not sure you should spend the time making oil out of it. If you can get some pics you should get other opinions though :).
Yeah. It's not stellar, but there are some trics. I'll go snap a few pics. Looks like they are just a bunch of popcorn nugs with way too many sugar leaves. My guess is it would be a harsh smoke. Hoping for the best, but sometimes shit just happens like that

Here they go...

Lmfao dont listen to him that will make fine oil. Newty uses fan leaves.... I agree probably far better off eating that than smoking it cause of the leaf to calyce ratio

I'm pretty certain I just let those sugar leaves get outta control at the beginning of flower and it choked her out. Most of the little nugs hiding in there look a bit immature. I bet they would have been big ol' fist sized buds if I had kept her healthier. Live & Learn

Me too! The WW I'm growing now honestly is growing some weird leaves too. Like cupped and it's not nitrogen, just heredity. I will admit it doesnt help the poor gal to look any more appealing lmao

P, did we lose you to the bit you licked off the spoon? Idk about you I always get the most high the first batch of eddibles from dipping my fingers in the batter... YUM!

Sorry my nighttime tea is kicking in I did a 3rd spoonful tonight o_O

Smoked a little tester off Baggy McSchwagweed.... I was pleasantly surprised! :slide:

Best I could describe the texture inside the buds; gooey, sticky but sparse & leafy.

Smell is fruity & skunky. Funny story, I actually brought that herb in the house last night to snap pictures. I put in jars without lids until I moved it back out to the drying racks. It's around 90% done drying already.
Anyhow... I forgot about it when I left for work this morning. Walked in the door from work around noon and my whole house smells like weed. I about shit! My in-laws were home all day.
:thumb:
Ha! Maybe they just thought it was dog farts!
:rofl::rofl:
So, I expected a harsh hit but it was smooth as silk. No hack on exhale, and I pull pretty big rips off that 6" Grav sherlock. Tasted like shit, wasn't as dry as I thought. Chlorophyll taste and smell but aftertaste was definitely dank.
High was like a "wake-n-bake" for about 30-45 min, I actually had a small case of "Forrest Whittaker Eye" LoL

Now I'm relaxed and stuck to my recliner. I'll take it.
It has potential. I think I'm gonna cure up the best nug to smoke in a couple months and I'll be putting the rest to edibles in a week or two.

The ladies before their neem treatment:
They're due..

Do you neem in flower? I've read that it's not a good idea so I stick to spinosad once there are pistils. Something about the oil staying in the buds and making them taste of neem (since the oil doesn't leave) and that it's not good to burn and inhale.

I've never had an issue with it. I don't saturate flowers and try to be a bit more careful spraying. They may only get 2 neem treatments during flower. Bud wash before drying and I'm good. Never noticed any distinguishable taste change between plants that got neem during flower and those that didn't.
I'm also not too meticulous in the garden like most. Kinda a bumbling fool on most days. I'm just happy to be getting by.... but I'm likely doing most shit wrong. LoL
I'll pick up some spinosad & give it a rip for these gals that are flowering.

Appreciate the tip.

Just passing along what I've heard! Another thing I learned is to only mix enough spinosad to use in a day. Now I've got to dump 48 ounces I mixed up last weekend .
Yeah, I've read that multiple places as well. I catch myself being lazy about shit like that all the time... "I'll just get by with what I have onhand"
I also think some people go overboard on precautions when growing. It's definitely possible to grow amazing herb without all the gadgets and nutrients. I just try to find a reasonable balance.

I agree, it all has to do with ease of use.
As long as you have that reasonable balance, provide proper lighting. keep nutes low, reduce lush growth and have a proper water program the person can grow good bud.
Now the goal is great bud so that takes a little more care and attention.
