I make a loosely packed puck of kief. About half-way to hash.... I use an empty teabag, folded up neatly. Wrap in parchment and squeeze. I normally press one puck, 2 or 3 times until it stops putting out.

I'll freeze the parchment for a few hours, then collect it all up.

I've never really measured it. I use a puck that is about the size of a peppermint. I pull out a slab that is about the size of a penny.

When I harvest my big plants, I will do a kief extraction with dry ice to get a monster puck of hash to press. I'll document it and actually pull out the scale. LoL

I plan on taking my trim, mixing it with dry ice, pushing it through a 120 screen over a mirror, collecting that into a puck and putting it in a 90 micron bag and hitting it with the rosin press.

I've done it before with an ounce of Jack Herer in a coffee can with cheesecloth stretched over the top. 3-4 chunks of dry ice, and shake TF out of it. Huge returns!

Now I have the bag that came with my MB2, i will use that next time. Same concept. Freeze it fast & shake it like crazy

I shake it out over a big ass piece of parchment paper. It will make your life easy when you're collecting it all up. That shit gets everywhere! LoL
 
Exactly what I do, big ass stainless steel bowl. I even wait till I order frozen groceries and get free dry ice with them.

What size screen are you using? I ordered a full set of bags and tried the water method once-No mas.

Guess one could even take the leftovers from the dry ice hash and AFTER the dry ice has resolved, throw it in your ethanol batch.

Baskin Robbins is where I get mine. But they also have icehouses also sell alot for packing fish and shit for mail.. Don't know why one wood pack and mail shit but anyways.
