Day 30 of Veg. Been adding ties to the middle branches as they get three inches or so long and pull them open. I moved them up to the top under the two T5's. I also added one of the LED's for extra light. I did pop the top on one of them trying to pull it to aggressively. It is ok tho because I was considering topping it anyway.
On with the show!
And the popped top with an attempted repair. But it didn't repair and I had to cut it off.

So this is day 34 of Veg. My rough handling in LST has cost me two popped main tops but that is fine because I was going to have to FIM them anyway now they will just make me two and three-way splits. I am going to pick me up some green garden wire when I get a chance. I woke up last night a 300 am and couldn't sleep so I spent a few late night hours re-wiring lots of new growth. White Rhino tries to chock it self out with it's leaves so I have to pluck any of the middle growing leaves so it won't choke out the new shoots and middle will fill in.

For sure! Putting the time in while they are in Veg pays off big time in flower.lot's of daily trainings, it worth it a lot !

Day 41. Had some good growth over past few days. I moved all the ties downs around and added more ties for new branches. I had to defoil the inner leaves blocking out sites. I really opened them up so I expect more good growth especially after my next tea in a few days.
I did before and after's of each plant so you can really see how open they are now.

Yeah there were a few of them. I am also getting a slight canoeing on the lower fan leaves. Temps have been a little on the hot side from about 6 - 9 pm until sun is down. Hitting around 85 in that small stretch. My electric wont run the a/c full blast so I can keep my night temps during hottest part of the day at 80-82 degrees which isn't ideal but will have to work. It's hard with the 18-6 veg light cycle will be much more manageable in flower they will run from 9pm-9am. I figure another two weeks or so and the will be ready to be screened and flipped.
My hottest temps in my attic now are during the day, which is lights OFF. Lights are on from 10 PM to 10 am. During those hours and with my lights cut back to 300w for summer, the lights on temps are nice in 70's. then the lights go out and temps rise to 90's even 100! Crazy hot, but I'm still getting a decent grow. Kinda strange. My best attic grows are in spring and fall when it doesn't get so hot.

90 f in my bedroom in the day and without cooler 86 F by night, led is the only way to grow if you want to have a better temp control, For veg time CFL is good too but i had to compare them and between 250 CFL and 400 Mars II temp is quite the same, 90/92 F.
SO Ac cooler start when Led start all year long ! i'll tell you in 10 weeks how my baby finally dealt with all temp variations,

Teldren.....just out of pure curiosity.... what are yoo hoping to pull off this grow....weight....gpw? I'm curious....as I am making my first run with mars ii 700w.....and run scrog....!! Also I thought temps in the mid 80's was ok if you are running co2.....I let me temps hit 86!!!! I could get it much cooler if I wanted......but as I stated....I thought co2 changed all that.....???

Yeah I am not currently running CO2 but with these temps I will probably add it when I flower the WR's. I am hoping to get around a lb. off six plants which is totally doable just depends how the LED's do.

You have me over hear laughing.....with how u lst.....in a good way! I always find it amazing for how resourceful us growers are and can be!!! Looks like you have put some serious time into ur lst....as I do also....!! Not sure if this will be helpful....but since it's a journal......it may help someone else....
I use yarn and safety pins......so I put the safety pin on the top of the fabric smart pot....as u are using the clips.......and then use the yarn to pull the plant down.....and tie it to the. Safety pin......works great..... as it is totally recyclable.... well the safety pins at least........the yarn gets tossed...! Idk if it would be easier to do....but just throwing it out their!!!

Also....our goals are very similar....as I am going to 2 lbs out of my 4 mars 2 700w.....bloom only baby...bloom only!! I'm already 4weeks in 12/12...scrog......so.....I'll let u kno.....as I will following your grow

Yeah this is only second time doing it this way. I used to used string and duct tape but that don't work with fabric pots. Yawn and safety pins is a good idea. I am currently thinking of a way to make a circular frame work out of thin wall pvc to tie off to but will see.
