Sup Tdogg I just read up here. Your off to a great start. Good call on getting an HPS. 600w would be great. If you can swing it you should look into a switchable ballast and run a MH for veg and HPS for flower. Although either work for either stage I have read that MH is better for veg and HPS for flower. Just a thought. Take everything I say with a grain of salt I am n00b at this shizzy. Stay green. Kill that mouse!

Yeah im gettin the switchable for sure, but I wont get to use the MH because im expectin to be in flowerin by the time I get my HPS. Ohh and I put traps up thru my house and well.. he is toast. Hope there arent any more tho

Day 7 Jan 21

Well just a small lil' update, so im startin to get my 2nd set of leafs but im holdin off on feedin untill my replaced seed completly sprouts and gets the first set at least. Also I looked in my res and found that I have a root a few inches long Also I need to get a PH meter cuz i HATE, let me repeat HATE the test strips, cuz i feel like im readin them wrong or that im color blind or something. Idk just feel like im leavin room for error which I DON'T want just cuz i can't read the test strips. But so far I havent had any problems so I guess im readin them somewhat correctly.

Thats pretty much it nothin too exciting

I did my first two grows with NO meters and it was NOT easy.
I didn't think it was all that bad,
until I got a meter, then I realized how easier a meter is.

yeah its a PAIN to me.. Hardest part about pens from my understandin is Calibrating them, but after that its just dip let its sit a lil read and ur done.. no comparing colors or worryin bout accidently spillin water on the test strips and ruinin them all.

Think I can find a good one for like 30-40$?

Well the sprout is showin completly and has 2 lil leafs.. not the round ones..
Sooo... I added 1/4 micro & Grow.. Hopefully it doesnt burn them =/

How do you guys measure your nutes.. i just eye balled it. Lol Maybe that was a bad idea but if a screw up ill just drain it.

I went to look at that and well.. its 44.95 + 15 for the calibration solution. so thats 60$ + shippin cost. I just can't afford that right now cuz i still have to get my HPS and exhaust fan. I really hate these damn strips tho lol
