Talk about different pheno types

I'm pretty sure autos prefer a 18/6 schedule over 12/12. I've never grown autos but I would assume the 20/4 would do better than the 12/12 from what I've read.

I truly believe that both lights set at 18/6 the hps would win hands down on yield

Flushed the 3 girls that were starting to show Amber.
Used 1 gal withh 5ml flora kleen ph @ 6.2 per plant. They are potted in 7 liter pots.
Sound OK?

You are most likely correct Dutty, I only put them into the bloom area because they grew much too tall for the veg area and I already have the other photo plants in the bloom area otherwise I wouuld have changed the light schedule.
Maybe I will do a little experiment with t5 floro at 18/6 (1 plant) and 1 plant under 18/6hps when I get some space.
That would be interesting.

Update on the autos.
T5 floro plants, 20/4 all 4 have started to be flushed.
The 12/12 hps plants are further behind but all but 2, looks like they will definatly out yield the floros, but not a fair comparison because they are twice as tall.
Anyway here are some pics of the original plants.

Day 63 from seed, been flushing ( started 2/12).
Seeing all cloudy almost solid white trics mixed with Amber.
Whatcha think?

Final flush tomorrow.

These are my latest. White widow. Flipped 7 days ago, already starting buds.
We'll see how it goes.

So the results are in.
Between the short CherryBomb and the tall.
Short = 17g, Tall= 26.5g.
I would have to say that the hps (although only12/12) definatly outperformed the Flouro lighting.
Quality of bud is a bit better, though both are some great smoke.
Going to have to try 18/6 and see what that does.
It was a fun project.
Hope everyone enjoyed it and maybe learned a little something.
