Taking My Chances With The Devil: Dark Devil Auto & Devil's Crack Auto

I've nowhere to share my bud porn since I closed my thread. So I'm dropping more in here again.

Today I started harvesting my Chem 91 X Cherry Alien Dawg plant. I got most of it trimmed up and figuring the dried buds will weigh roughly 20% of the wet weight I'm looking at right around 84 grams dried. Not too awful in a 3 gallon pot. Here is one of the buds off of her. She produced pretty buds. I hope they smoke as good as they look. Today she is exactly 63 days post flip. Looking at the trichromes through magnification I'm seeing about 85% cloudy with the rest clear and amber (10% clear and 5% amber) so I feel it was a perfect time to take her down. The timing is perfect as her replacement is about 3 days from being flipped.

I have 3 hempys put together. A double and 2 singles. Haven't cracked any seeds due to my super power of indecision. I know what goes into the closet, just not sure on the tent fillers. I have to choose something that thrives under the 11/13 from seed schedule and that I don't want/need to breed. Tough stuff, thinking that is....

I did two dabs of Blueberry Northern Lights last night and then did a dose of 9# hammer RSO the size of 3 grains of rice (nerve pain killed me yesterday). I am dragging ass today, ooo wee.

Trying to make room for an emergency guest for a month... the struggle is real. I sure can't in good conscience let him be homeless and lose his full time job just because he roughed up a meth-head that deserved it at his old apartment complex.

Grow will continue as planned. He's been here before, so no surprises. I trust him. He is the only friend left from our days on the street that didn't get swallowed by heroin and methamphetamine. The only one that has continued to advance in his life. He is a lucky duck getting to sleep in a double carbon filtered room with extra oxygen from the plants..

Me, I am about to start rummaging through seeds.

Peace

Your a good dude :thumb: it's always nice to have friends that are there in time of need
It's hard giving up my privacy..

When he called I flashed right back to the ditch I used to sleep in where if you stayed there too long in the morning the ants living underneath would attack viciously. No decent person deserves that kind of memory. So I said yes.

If he owned a car, I might've said no. Cars make decent little tiny homes that usually don't have ants, spiders, rats, lice, or bushbeaters.

I haven't even tasted this yet but I KNOW that @SeedsMan has hit it out of the ballpark with this strain. I hesitated, went back and forth trying to decide if it would prove to be a gimmick strain or a winner. Well I decided to purchase a 3 pack and I'm glad I did. I am going to put my money on it being a winner.

Meet Girl Scout Crack...………...a wonderful cross between Girl Scout Cookies and Green Crack. I had a medium sized plant in veg from which I had already harvested and rooted a cutting. So when I needed to fill a space in my flowering tent I grabbed this smallish plant in a pot just about 2 gallons in size. I flowered her for 61 days and have been trimming her up this afternoon. There have been frequent stops to collect scissor and finger hash and to clean scissors and hands with alcohol before getting back at it. It's a plant like this with trim that is oozing crystals that make me wish I had some of those hash making bags or screens. Look for a detailed smoke report in about 5-6 weeks after a 4 week cure. Here are a couple photos.

Here is a bud with the fan leaves removed and just the sugar leaves left.

Here is a photo of a growing pile of wet trimmed buds which will head into bags and into the fridge for a low and slow drying.

And this is the trim I've collected so far. I dare say this would make some delightful edibles..............or if I had the screens some tasty hash.

Absolutely beautiful. Makes me wish smellavision was a real thing.

Either way bro you are doing the right thing. Sometimes a little help from a friend keeps shit from spiraling out of control in life. We all need good people in our lives

He walked in, set his bags down, handed me $300 and asked if I wanted a dab. He even hocked his pistols so they wouldn't be in the house with my autistic daughter and 2 year old son. Mad respect for that kind of foresight.

I'm not sure if you have been following the saga of Sweet Sue and the It's It Punch plant. She states that it is incredibly stimulating sexually. She had asked me if I would try to make her some seeds for her for a future grow. What I had to start with was a rooted clone so that meant CS or STS and reversing the plant. On a small scale I had some success and got the plant to produce some pollen sacks. I did not hand pollinate this plant, instead I tried a little experiment. I treated a bottom branch and when I saw pollen sacks starting to appear I segregated the plant into it's own small tent. I put a muffin fan on the floor pointing straight up at the branch with the pollen and just let nature take it's course sort of. I figured if any pollen were to fall from an open sack it would be blown up into the tent and fall somewhere....why not onto a pistil.

I took the first test nugget today which is flip + 56 days. I also harvested the first test seed to see how far along they are towards maturity. I say the plant itself is done/ready to harvest. The seeds however need probably 2 more weeks give or take a few days. So until I harvest the plant (once the seeds are mature) I'll take a test bud every 3 days to see if there is any change in the effect of the strain as the plant matures.

Here is what I harvested today.

Frosty business right there.

I drop into Sue's threads here and there. Busy places. I have heard of this legendary IIT. Folks seem pretty revved up about the possibilities.

I have put off planting seeds for a moment. Changes, good ones, are taking place. Finally found the chance to set aside the rockwool and work with something else for seed starting. I was ordering some 'zon stuff for the wife and they recommended some bricks of coco. I looked at them and found that I could order one brick as an add on item, $3 shipped. Also ordered some tiny fabric pots. I plan to aerate the coco with smaller bits of lava rock. Anything has to be better than rockwool.

Decided to flower 2 Devil's Pitchfork F2 photos and keep the one female autoflower going in the closet. After my new planting stuff shows up it'll be autoflower city.

The NL gals are coming along nicely. One of the Nirvana x Sensi's has a bit of a leaf mutation? Could be a sensitive phenotype? Who knows? still looks healthy and green.

Harlequin is another story. Two very vigorous males and one that I keep hoping is female. Kind of irritating. If all three are Male I will keep one and toss two. Make a few beans, salvage the operation as best I can, and move on.

After I get back from the doctor tomorrow I will grab some pics. Still just stretching and vegging goin on. Not the most exciting part of the grow.

Stash is looking okay. Been smoking tons of joints so the supply is definitely finite. My favorite so far was the Purple Afghani x BCBD Purps, the vomit phenos. Smoked em right up. Ultra potent indica hybrid. Close second is the 12 week fluffy green phenotype of Devil's Pitchfork x Trailer Trash Betty. I smoke a big joint every morning. Neighbor calls it talking weed. Really clear headed bright high, reminds me of super lemon haze minus the lemon. Lasts probably 3 hours. A mild kerosene odor with hints of something not quite grapefruit, super tasty... I believe that Trailer Trash Betty was worked over with Super Silver Haze.

Long winded I guess.

Hope all goes well with your medical hiccups and everyone gets back up to full speed again soon. I love photos looking down on to the top of the plants. Their symmetry is amazingly beautiful to me.

I just have some strange symptoms is all. They'll start with the blood, if that is clear they will give me an MRI. I do everything possible to avoid modern medicine, but it's not just me.

I just tossed some very dry trim in my new 120 micron tray. Probably less than an eighth. I shook it for maybe 10 minutes, maybe a bit longer, got a nice lump. There is still frost on the used trim, but that will go for tincture.

The Harlequin look super stable and healthy. Mega-Crop at 1 tsp/ga is being real friendly too. At the very least they should pass on some solid genetics to the Northern Lights and maybe that auto in the closet. Hate to see wasted potential.

That looks perfect sand colored keif :drool:Good luck with the doc
I was impressed. I did it over a Digiorno box with the air conditioner blowing. The worst possible conditions. Been a long day, but I am stoned now. Nice mixed buzz.

I love topping off a bowl with some keef. I have some trim I need to process. I hate going to the doctor's, but it's part of life. Wait till you get older. Seems to be a normal event when I hit my 50's. I wish I was easier on my body when I was younger. Lol
