Nice sprayer BUD!!! Looks like the simplest construction method possible is always the best. What is the gpm rating of that pump you are using? Looks like it has some power.

Yeah i must say simple has been working better then any thing i have tried from the store. Always seems i end up pulling my hair out to try and find a way to buy what works, when all i need to do is sit down with a nice big bowl of bud and think it over.

Im using the EcoPlus 396 GPH Submersible Water Pump. Im sure you could use a smaller pump as well because im not able to turn mine all the way up with out thinking that im going to power wash my roots away. Any pump around 200 GPH should work just fine but it all comes down to messuring the water pressure to be sure that the pump can suply enough force.

I think im going to have to build a few more when i start cloning the Heavy Duty Fruity. Would like to have 2 more set ups like that but only have about 5 holes drilled out for the plants....would make a great harvest with all 3 having 5 plants each.

I caught your Journal while scrolling through looking for Auto-Flowering Journals.. And Im glad I did.. !! .. I myself am fixing to drop a few Auto Beanz into the mix.. Ive never personally Grown any,, but from what Ive seen,, they look fun.. !!

I have 2 Tents,, 1 for Veg and 1 for Bloom.. And Im going to throw some Auto'z into my Veg Tent while my normal Lady'z are in there Vegg'n.. Kind of TRY to maximize my small Area to the best of my ability.. Sound Theory,, but who knows.. lol.. ..

Im definately Subscribed into your Journal now though,, and Ill be paying close Attention.. Looks like your doing just great,, someone I can hopefully learn some things about these Auto'z from..

Hey RedDawg thanks for stopin in to watch my girls grow!

I have done a few automatics before this but the haze that i have has been giving me some truble with feedings. I have learned that with these auto strains they all feed differently and are very easy to grow yet very easy to mess up for some one that grows normal flowering plants day to day.

I also have a few grow rooms myself but im going to wait for the other 2 rooms to harvest before i add them into this Heavy Duty Fruity grow. I have a small 2x4x4 that i use for my clones and seed/sprouts. Then i also have 2 4x4x7 tents. 1 is used for veg and mothers. The last tent is for flowering and is in bad shape after my basement flooded, it ended up getting some mold in it and i cleaned it out real well with bleach but im not sure that i can trust putting anything back into it again.

Im keeping the auto in my veg room as well for right now but i put all the plants under the 600w hps till the auto's are done then i will re veg the Heavy Duty for a week before flowering what i hope will be some nice 5'-6' plants.

What strains are you thinking of getting?

Figured i would stop in to have a puff or 2 and add some more picture to this here grow journal.

I wasnt going to take pictures today but i cant believe how fast these girls are taking off. I have been thinking about a vertical grow with a hydro tub but thats for another day and i still need to build it....hmmmmm mabey i will start planing that tonight now that its on my mind?

Ms. Haze and Ms. Road Runner are doing very well today, i checked the PH today and it came up to 8.0 but was able to get it back down to normal again and because i check every night the girls are thriving! They also recieved another 7ml of Ionic Bloom.

Other then that, i will be whacking the top off my Heavy Duty Fruity #1 in a few days or so. I plan to top 4 branches plus the top then grow them to 3 feet before going 12/12 and turning this into a perpetual grow of Heavy Duty Fruity.

Hey good to see ya back Reefa, the girls are doing very well thanks to the sprayer and the switch to the 600w HPS i did the other day. I was going to use the 400w HPS like i have done many times before with auto's but i figure since im down to only 1 tent for another couple weeks i might as well just juice them all up at the same time

Here for another nights up date. All of the girls are doing very well and still growing around 1" a day. The Road Runner is starting to pop more hairs as every branch and node has a few hairs poping out. Lady haze got a bit of a trim tonight but still looks rough, got rid of about 50% of the dead leaves but im not going to take all of them as she can still use them till new growth begins above it....i think that is a lost cause at this point but i have no reason to get rid of her.

Small Res:

Changed the water on the auto flowers again today as i didnt want the haze to have any stress for a day before feeding again. PH was at 5.8 as always with my grow.

Large Res:
PH was high again today but it always is around this time. seems like the PH changes alot but i know that there is alot of work going on with the nutes, roots, and water in there.

Its amazing just how complex of a thing we have when we do a hydro set up, its so simple to do at the end of the day but there is alot of work going on under the lids of our resevores. Boggles the mind some times to think about.....i guess i should pull back the stoner leash on this one im running away with this babbling, back to topic lol.

Nutes given today to large res:

PH 5.8

Thanks alot supernova, I will be adding another update tonight when i chack the PH. I cant believe how much they have been growing the last few days.


I know i come on here every day and say that they have grown but last night i did my heigh journal and all my plants have gone from just getting by to thriving every day and loving there nice cool place. I will also be sure to type up my messurements tonight so that you all can see what i have been working with.

Also going to get some more air stones today and a 4 valve air pump, im thinking another 4 air stones cant be a bad thing!

They range from a from 1 week to 5 weeks.

Here for another update tonight. Checked and balanced my PH in both the small and large res, not much of a change.

Small res PH: 7.0 changed to 5.8
Large res PH: 8.0 changed to 5.8

Water is still very clean along with the roots, no sign of plant stress or problems with pests thus far....i think i may have some spider mites coming when i switch to 12/12 but only time will tell. Found some in 1 rockwool cube after doning it with the seed. She is growing fine with no problems no as i neemed all the girls and also bleached the tents.

Now the girls are starting to grow faster i have started a log to keep track of how tall they are and how well they are growing. I would like to be able to keep track of every thing with the girls this time as i would like to have 1 very good and well grown strain to keep growing.

I will be keeping up with this every week in the hopes to find just the right feeding for optimal growth of the Heavy Duty Fruity.

Took some more pictures tonight and also went out to pick some things up but came hope with a bag full of crap for the garden....go figure lol.

Picked up a 4 valve air pump along with 2- 12" ail stones, 2- 6" air stones and a small plastic tube for my clones that will be coming soon from the H.D.F.

I did the set up 2 ways but wasnt happy with the first way so i cut the
12" stones in half and sealed up the opened end with some melted plastic a torch and a knife.......hmmmmm (12" air stone $4.99, 6" air stone $4.19, going home and cutting the 12"ers into 6" and having extra stones for free...Priceless!!! Hahahahaha)

I have also added some new pictures of the girls, im not sure that ms. haze is going to make it but she is still flowering so im letting her go till she dies or an angles comes down and makes her green again

All the rest of the girls are just doing there thing and growing like crazy. I will also take a picture of the roots in a few days.

Hey herbs, they do grow on there own as long as i feed them and keep up with the PH......but yes for the other 23 hours a day its all them

Back for my nightly up date. Not much has change other then growth so i will keep this one short. Sorry if any thing looks bad or bad typing it been a vape night and im a bit over medicated thanks to some G13, hope every one has a great night!

Changed water today and got every thing all shiny and clean
Added 1.5gal well water
Nutes:
Ionic Bloom- 5ml
Floragro-5ml
Molasses-2 drops disolved

Also moved the girls around to allow for more room as im running out for the little ones and i dont want them to be blocked from getting light.

Will be taking clones in the next few days as to try and find the mother plant and get rid of the males. I will take 1 clone from H.D.F. #6 and #5, they will be placed into 12/12 and from there i just hope for the best. Will also be starting to set up the other tents again soon.

Hey 420, well i did my res change today on the large res and it was ery much needed as the water was looking nice and milky. Didnt do an update last night but i will be adding that info into this post as well.

PH. 7.1 changed to 5.8

PH. 6.8 changed to 5.8
No nutes given

Also chopped the top off of Heavy Duty Fruity #1 and #2. I have a feeling that i have a couple males starting to show them selves. H.D.F. #1 im almost positive is a male and #4 looks to also be a male. Im going to wait to remove any of the girls for now as i would like to flower them and be sure before killing off my plants. More info on that as i find out!

Road Runner is about 4-5 weeks from harvest and is looking very good as well, not as tall as i would have liked them to be but i must say for it being an auto flower im happy with the way things are going.

Last thing.....Im glad to be a medical user thanks to people not showing up to vote on Prop 19 last night! I still love it here in california
