Hey all, just thought i would stop on by and hang out while my meds grow. I have done some journals before but didnt finish them completely but now that i have some things worked out i think its a good time to start a sweet new grow with you all. Enjoy :yummy:

I started this grow off with:
Seeds-Heavy Duty Fruity
*Sativa X
*Flowering: 60-65 days
*Height: 120-160 cm
*Yield: 400-600 p.s.m.
* One Word "Monstrous" will describe this plant. A huge producer with giant cola's will make any "bud waver" happy. Absolutely the best indoor producer we have seen yet.

-Dinafem Road Runner Auto
*Indica, Sativa, Ruderalis
*Height : Medium
*THC Level : Medium
*Characteristics : enormous colas in only sixty days

-Dinafem Haze Auto
*Type : Indica, Sativa, Ruderalis
*Genetics : (Lowrider#1 x Dinafem #1) X JYD Haze
*Height : Short, Medium
*THC Level : 6% - 12%
*Characteristics : Sweet and Fruity that leaves a lingering after taste.

Im growing in hydro along with bubble ponics for flowering my automatics. My main tub is 20 gal. Its filled with 4 gals of water every change, changes are done once every 1 week to 2 weeks. The large container has a pump that is ran through 1/2" PVC, i then took a torch and heated up a pin to poke small holes into the pipes for the water to pray out onto the root balls and baskets.

The samll container houses 2, 12" air stones on a dual air pump. This container is changed every 2 weeks depending on how the roots and waters doing. It holds a gallon and a half of water when full and will be used for cloning the Heavy Duty Fruty once they are ready and the auto's are done.

Nutes-
* Humboldt Nutrients: Oneness 5-9-4
* Humboldt Nutrients: Micro 5-0-1
* Ionic: Bloom 3-2-6
* FloraGro: 2-1-6

Grow Space and specs.
* 4x4x7 Reflective grow tent with 6" and 4" ducting holes. (Only using 6" holes)
* MH/HPS- 400watt galaxy digital ballest.
* MH/HPS- 600watt Future Bright digital ballest.
* Stanley blower from home depot to move are in room and hood.
* Reflector- Sun Systems Yeild Master II 6"

Seeds were started in rockwool and have been growing from a week to a month at the time of starting this journal. Have some burning going on with the Haze Auto but all of the rest of the plants look great. I will be sure to upload photos as soon as i go back down to check on them.

All plants are growing on a 24hr light schedule due to the fact that i need to veg the Heavy Duty Fruity and sex the plants before starting to flower. Because of the auto flowers im only using a 600watt HPS for all of the plants. New roon coming soon but this will have to do for now.

Thanks for checking out my grow and hope to have some people tag along for the ride.

Ahhh what the heck the night is still young here are some pictures to get this ball of roots growing.

I will be checking back every day and will be posting pitures every few days to a week as things start to grow faster. thanks for tuning in!

Loving the DIY spray tubes! Gives me some good ideas for when I make a run at the bubble ponics next grow!

:thumb:

Hey thanks Smokey, i wil be sure to post some pictures of the main res set up next week when i change water. I was going to go and get some sprayers but this has been working great and i still have yet to have to chuck it because of clogs. The pump and spray tubes get bleached and blown out to get rid of build up, before adding new water. Easy as hell to take apart i might add. Hope to see ya around the grow, thanks for tuning in.

Thanks Ugly! Welcome to the grow.

Just wondering if any one else has done a dinafem Road Runner auto grow? She has been growing for over a month and i wtill have yet so see any hairs. I can tell that its female but she wont pop hairs....Is there a possibility that i got an auto flower that may have left behind the automatic traits? I will post pics of the little lady soon. :peacetwo:

Thanks i think im going to do some looking around as well. Im sure that it could happen but im realy hoping to have the chance to clone it. She is at day 35 days old and no pistols. God i pray this turns out to be a plant i can take cuttings from. Its so short and bushy would love to see what it would do with a 2 month veg and another couple feet of stretch. Keep ya posted thanks for the info!:blunt:

i am waiting to pop a road runner seed next week... i got it as a free seed with my last seed order. i would also like to clone it as well.... i hope it isn't a auto... i wish my Easy rider weren't autos... they are short and starting to bush out nicely.

good luck on the grow... i like the drilled sprayers as well. if i were to do that, i would try to aim the spray to hit the nets. but the added benefit would be the added oxygen to the mix even if they didnt hit the roots or nets.

-----Yeah i order from attitude love the stealth shipping! And the free dina fems i got wernt bad either i also had a Critical +, but it didnt make it.

It would be very nice to be able to clone them but auto flower genetics are almost always present lol, getting a good female that can be cloned would be a hell of a bonus. :) Auto flowers although small are a fun grow and if you get good with them a good grower can seem some great yeilds in vertical grows. I personaly dont need that many plants lol. Fun because there free!

I will also take some pictures of the spray tube, it has around 60 holes all the way around that spray in all directins. The pump that im using is a EcoPlus - 396gph. Theres a cupler holding the 1/2 PVC to the outlet on the pump when she is cranked up i can get those to spray around 5 feet out of the bucket because of the pressure....needless to say i only turn it up about 3/4 of the way now.

--------------**********************-------------

Bit of an update today, checked the PH of the water and found it to be a bit high so i mixed in some down and got it all to level out at 5.8. I like to let my pump run the water through for a few minutes, i find that it takes a bit more time then i thought to get the new water to start squirting out and stired around.

Growth is starting to pick up alot and all of the plants are doing very well other then my haze that im trying to nurse back to health after a run in with the wrong nutes.

Here are the pictures of the Road Runner......It seems to have small pistals starting to form but they look more like a pre flower of a plant that i would clone. Growth is short and bushy.

I also thought i should post some shots of the poor miss haze, she is starting to get better but because to many nutes and the air stones in the small rez becoming clogged she got burnt. Good news it she is coming back and growth is starting to get more lush again. PH in the small rez tonight was 6.1 so i also droped that back down to 5.8 and added some fresh water with out food as she is drinking alot and making some very nice new roots.

Hey. thanks for stoping by reef, im glad one of the auto flowers are working out. Im so used to just letting them grow outside in the garden but that weather wont be the best for out door growing so inside for hydro they will grow.

Thanks for checking out my grow Wakenbake, hope to see ya around!

Update today, did the res change on the auto flowers and found that the Road Runner is starting to flower so that is great news for whats to come. Mabey she just needed more time to fill in before starting to but. Today will be the fist day of flowering for the Road Runner Auto.

The Haze Auto, is now at day 7 of flowering. Noticed alot of new root growth on this little lady over the past few days so she should start to go into full bloom in the next week.

4 weeks or so the haze should be ready to chop and im thinking around 5-6 weeks for the Road Runner as she is taking her time a bit more then the others.

Nutes given today:
-Ionic Bloom 7ml
-Flora Gro 7ml
-PH 5.8
------------------------
-Fresh water
-Cleaned and bleached res
-Brushed air stones
-Misted roots to get rid of build up

Here are the new pictures of the roots small res and the Haze and Road Runner.

I hear ya on the bag seed bro. Just doesn't warrant electric usage or nutes. Have 1 clone though that was bag seed and happens to be the most crystallized of anything I've grown to date. But F#%$ the bag seed.

Thanks for swingin in herbsnbuds. Yeah i didnt think much of it but i figured why not throw theminto another room and see what they do lol. Made for a fun grow but yes, it wasnt worth the money in the end.

Well another week of water down the drain. Things have been going very well with all of the girls, they seem to love there places in the res and are exploding with new growth every day. Gained 2" last night on my Road Runner auto alone along with Heavy Duty Fruity #1 growing 1" over night. I have alof of pics to post so enjoy!

Nutes added:
Micro-5ml
Floragro-2ml
Oneness-7ml

All nutriants are added per gallon.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Also will be starting the photos out with the res pictures and how i set up my sprayer system.

To make this spray set up you will need the fallowing:
-(1) 8' stick of 1/2" PVC
-(6) 1/2" 90 degree elbows
-(3) 1/2" T's
-PVC cement
-PVC pipe cleaner...clear or blue doesnt matter
-1/2" 2 way barbed fitting
-High flow water pump
-Drill holes with a 1/16" drill bit or heat pin to make small holes ofr water to spray out of.

I have found that using to small of a pump will only cause build up to ocure.

Here is what it should look like when finished:

I will start off the show with some Heavy Duty Fruity and let the auto's take it from there. Hope you all enjoy as much as i am!

Nice sprayer BUD!!! Looks like the simplest construction method possible is always the best. What is the gpm rating of that pump you are using? Looks like it has some power.

Agreed. I know I commented on it before, but it is still awesome. Love the DIY stuff. Necessity is the mother of ingenuity.
