Re: Sweetsue's Tiny Closet - Second Grow - Sweet Dark Devil & Bomb Berry Bomb - CFL -
One of the advantages of needing to sit by the bedside of a sick loved one for nine hours as he sleeps and hopefully heals is being able to devote that time to conversations on this forum. It has allowed me to invest an unbelievable amount of time to get to know many of you better. One of those conversations with DrZiggy made me realize that I hadn't considered the idea of tailoring my strain choices to Dale's specific health challenges. At DrZiggy's suggestion. I went looking for a strain beneficial in the control of glaucoma. Of all the challenges facing Dale, the threat to his eyesight gives us the greatest pause.
My search led me to Jamaican Dream. I've been to Jamaica (college choir tour, believe it or not) and found the people laid-back and friendly with a wonderful rhythm to their lives. That sold me. With no further research I'd made my choice. Scientific of me, eh? Then Greytail reminded me that he'd chronicled Jamaican Dreams (Swoon! More than one!) in his first journal. It took me three minutes of scrolling to fall in love.
My next grow, Sweetsue is goin' Jamaican.
Ordering seeds next month. This one will be a regular visitor in our garden. Oh yeah.
