Yes they do Joe, and thank you for the compliment. I like to think I had something to do with it, but it was mostly great genetics, fabulous lighting and a nutrient source my plants are loving, accented with copious amounts of love oozing from the cultivator. Some of the nicest buds I've grown so far.
I keep saying that, huh?
You guys keep making me a better grower, so it makes sense I'd be continually improving.
But look......
They really
are pretty.
I sure hope you didn't go with 300 degrees for two hours Jones.
It's 200 degrees for two to three hours, depending on how wet the perlite was going into the oven. I want it dry coming out, but I don't always wait for it to dry before I sterilize. It might be smarter to wash, dry, sterilize. Often I'm lazy.
Good morning everyone
I realized this morning that I've done what I'd intended this year, and found my sweet spot for gardening in this apartment. With the small likelihood that I'll retire the Spa and keep it in mind for future overflow, the small tents have turned out to be a perfect fit for me.
Forgive me Lady G, but the pink lights were to show what I see, and to highlight that lovely specimen in the middle.
Yeah...... I feel the same way when I look in. This tent stays the warmest, and has the best humidity levels, although the humidifier's been going a little wonky, and there were a couple times it climbed over 60% for a few minutes. I think she believes she's living in the tropics.
But look at how she's responded! This is my most beautiful Devil's Carnival to date, and the one I'm happiest with structurally.
Previous specimens had problems with retaining leaves. At the slightest bump they'd fall off. Branches were ...... let's go with weak, as in not strong enough to support the colas without wiring them up somehow. This one has been sturdier from the moment I chopped her down to a single node after a month's growth. This may be the key to successfully getting the root mass that supports this type of plant. She's filled in impressively.
Yes, I took note, and will be duplicating the technique, only my next specimen is in soil. Hmmmm...... longer veg time. Ok, I'll adjust the schedule. That actually works to my benefit.
You gotta love the way the universe keeps working it out for me. Lol!
She's completely flushed to cloudy, but I see no evidence yet of any amber trichomes.
I almost missed the autumnal tint to her upper leaves.
This didn't happen with either of the previous specimens, or if it did I missed it both times.
The only new pistils are down below. I'll let her go as long as I can, but her flush cycle begins today. I'm hoping she goes all colorful as she slides into the harvest window. It'd make for some pretty pictures and there are a few
contests I'm planning to get serious about.
Now..... tell me you're not smiling after that luscious display of cannabis goodness. My pleasure.
Time to get out there and celebrate the New Year's entrance in the style befitting a
cultivator.
