SweetSue's Perpetual 3.0 - The Hempy/HB Hybrid Grow

Hey Sue, when you used a dehydrator to dry some meds where did you set the heat and time for? .

I was thinking about getting one when I saw her post. Should be good for the herb and veggie garden as well.

My lowest setting is 95f as well

I look forward to hearing of your results PW. I run the dehydrator for 50 hours and then remove the buds. I find that the small buds that may over-dry will rehydrate to the level of the larger buds when they get jarred up together, so I stopped checking at 24 hours. Using super-dried rice I've been able to get them stable in the jar within 24 hours of removal from the dehydrator.

I'm thinking this contented woman needs a walk along the river trail in these unseasonably warm temperatures, bolstered euphorically by a second Kitchen Sink brownie.

Yep..... sounds like a plan I can work with. I have one small seedling to drench and I'm out the door.

But before I go, a little on-topic joy, why not? The CBD Critical Cure is just one day shy of blooming, from the looks of her.

You see why I had to share? :cheesygrinsmiley:

Until later, my friends. :ciao:

Hey ss i was just wondering if i got docs kit can that be used hempy style or no? Cus i been considering getting the kit anyway and since I wana start up 1 r 2 dwc buckets it had me thinkn if u cud use his kit hydro style?? I figured since u have to dunk certain things with the kit it prolly wudnt work dwc but then I thought what about hempy style? What do u think? I thought u have docs kit so I figured maybe uve tried it or no y it wudnt work or watever i figured u wud be the best person to ask n get a general starting point if i shud even continue thinkn on how 2 make it work or if it even could.

I put a kit plant in hempy blaze but with coco perlite mix above the res. I transferred her over to my AN and she's doing well.

I have a feeling doc would suggest learning to use the kit the recommended way before trying "advanced tactics"

Not that I haven't considered it Jones, but this is one I haven't tried yet. I will tell you that I believe the Energy drench from Doc's Kit and the Energy nutrient additive I use with the RX Green Solutions are so similar in appearance and smell that they may be identical, fueling my interest.

However, Doc's kit works its magic because the microbes in the soil feed off the minerals found in the amendment you add to the medium. That mineralization doesn't happen in hempy. We add those minerals in the form of liquid nutrients. IMO, the kit isn't transferable to hempy, at least not one with perlite.

Coco may be a different story, but one I haven't explored.

I can say without hesitation that he'd prefer that. I'm in my third year of growing, and my second using the kit, and I still feel like a novice. :laughtwo: Fortunately the kit is very forgiving. Lol!

The Jamaican got a bit of a haircut and some faded leaf removal. She looks like a new girl.

I'm mixing up some 5:1 CCO mix for one of the favorite things Cajun ever shared with me. BioBomb Breakfast Smoothies.

IMG_686113.JPG

I had exactly one gram of CCO left, and what better way to celebrate my affiliation with that crazy cajun than to treat myself to this special euphoric delight? I'd been considering this ever since Rob posted the memorial thread. Today I couldn't resist any longer. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Tomorrow I'll add the oil mix to the rest of the components and have a kick-ass smoothie for breakfast.

I can't wait. :slide: Better get drenches done first. Lol!

I'm using coconut oil instead of olive oil for my smoothie mix, because let's be honest here, there's nothing medicinal about this adventure. :laughtwo:

Had a tumble on the road while I was out today guys. Quite a sobering moment to have a simple misstep end with you lying on the cold, wet roadway in the darkness with the realization that you're dressed in black, and that means a car might not see you. The fall was enough of a disruption that I sat on that street - blessedly devoid of any automobile traffic during the few moments it took me to get my senses back under control - and thought of how lucky I was not to have caused serious damage.

I bruised my right elbow and palm, my right patella took a serious slap from the asphalt, and the left shin took a good beating, but all-in-all I got off reasonable unscathed. Sitting on the curb while I regained internal calm I was struck by the things that hadn't happened. I didn't smash my face off the street, which is what it looked and felt like was going to happen.

I didn't break or damage the cell phone. :yahoo: Or my glasses, which at the time were hanging on the front of my hoodie. I didn't break anything, including the water bottle that could have easily split open when I fell on it and drenched the cell phone sitting right next to it in the pouch of my hoodie. The nice, thick, protective Bulldog hoodie I won in that first MOTY contest that saved my skin from some painful brush burns. Whew!

I was able to walk home with little discomfort, following an extensive period sitting on that curb, assuring my system that it had this. Healing was already underway. No need to tense and cause future pain. When I got home I pulled out the pain cream and went to work eliminating the many aches that were crying for attention.

Swelling is dramatically reduced. Anyone who uses a good topical will understand that pain is almost immediately a non-issue. I should sleep really well tonight, with all the residual from the adrenaline rush. :laughtwo:

Not a bad recovery for a 64-yr old cannabis warrior. Made me real thankful I do Callanetics and grow my own meds. Time for some inhaled pain relief.

Dave Groomer, this was my best attempt at making the pain cream, and I followed your recipe to the T. Thank you for working it out for us. I was wondering, how many drops of essential oils do you typically add to yours, and what combinations of essential oils have you had the most positive response to?

Heyhey! Congrats for feeling like an 8 yr old again! That's the sort of thing that happens to the youngsters. Woot! :partyboy:

And yeah, thank goodness for the Callanetics. Good muscles and ligaments come in handy when you get old n stuff. :bravo:

:laughtwo: I knew you'd appreciate this Graytail. Lol! I was impressed at my instincts to roll with it. Lol!

Graytail, if you don't make a pain cream, I recommend you do so. It's almost magical how I'll feel an unexpected muscular complaint, hit it with a tiny dab of pain cream, and have the pain vanish in a flash. Plus, it feels marvelous manipulating the skin. :cheesygrinsmiley:

These creams are so effective you can temper muscular discomfort by simply rubbing the cream on the palms of your hands or soles of your feet. Amazing relief. Let me try some on that dull headache trying to establish itself on my left temple.

I think that dull ache has more to do with tired eyes than anything else. Residual stress hormones working their way out. Must be time for SweetSue to call it a night.

Tomorrow, my friends. :hugs:

Before you go ... we'd all like to know ... were SweetSue's first words, post-event, ladylike or not? :hmmmm:

:laugh::kisstwo:

Good morning everyone

:laugh::kisstwo:

:laughtwo: I was asleep before you posted that. Lol! Hit the bed like a sack of bricks.

I'd eaten a Kitchen Sink brownie right before exiting the apartment, and the fall was about 90 minutes later. I was so high Graytail that the only thing I remember saying was "Shit!" Then I was on the pavement thinking " Damn! I'm soooo high! Where are all the cars?"

This morning I'm a little achy around the edges, but nothing the pain cream can't handle. I'm about to try a steamy shower, which should melt some of the latent tension from the recesses. Think I'll take it super easy today. What's amazing is the lack of any real bruising.

IMG_68624.JPG

The left shin is obviously swollen, and everything is tender to the touch, but I was expecting to awaken to some colorful displays that likely won't begin to express for another day or two. My skin heals wonderfully, but this surprised even me.

Looks like CBD CC 2.7 is gonna make us wait another day to "Oooo" and "Ahhh..." over her flowers. Today it's just because she's so lovely to gaze upon. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I stopped at the finish tent to check on DC 1.2. It appears 14 ml of Parts A&B with 8 ml of Bulk may be the limit for this chemovar. I went up just a single ml across the board and every tip singed.

IMG_68658.JPG

While I was there, admiring her magnificance, I grabbed the last ripening banana from the hanger. Time for a super-duper BioBomb Breakfast Smoothie. :slide:

Be boldly joyful my friends. One of the side benefits is the presence of cosmic companions you'll never sense with the regular vibrational tools at your disposal, but every once in a while they'll show you in a way that's impossible to ignore that they watch over your wellbeing.

Wellbeing is the order of the universe. Any thought to the contrary is us, misinterpreting. :battingeyelashes:

There's enough cottage cheese/CCO mix to carry me two more days. I have two glasses this size to drink throughout my day.

IMG_686710.JPG

I believe it's well in excess of 200 mg of THC. :cheesygrinsmiley:

This one's for you my friend, wherever your curious counsciousness resides these days. :hugs: :kisstwo:

It's ok Sue. I'll stay high with you all day long and take it easy too. Lol.
In fact, it has already in arranged!

Glad you didn't get hurt too badly. (Pride not withstanding).

Have a hazy day.

Hahaha! We'll make a good team Ditch. :laughtwo: These cannabinoids are gonna slam into me like a freight train any time now. Lol!

My pride wasn't wounded at all Ditch. In fact, I was mighty proud that, as high as I was, I never panicked or berated myself on tripping like a drunken person. Lol! I was so stunned for a couple minutes that I wasn't sure what was going on, just the sense that I wasn't in any danger, lying on the darkened pavement during one of our busiest shopping days of the year. It was almost eerie how little traffic came by while I was prone.

I do recall thinking "Maybe someone will stop to check on me" but no one even drove by.
