Missery still has life without on the books for a 'Larger' cultivation project of like 100 plants. Is possible for parole for murder. This is still a law there..... Not that they push it... But are exceptions... Check this out,,, older news..

The work will be far from over when cannabis is descheduled. Thanks for the share Woody. :hugs:

Good afternoon everyone

Seems I've been everywhere but my own yard this lovely Sunday. Ahhh..... Sunday's are a flood of unbridled affection in my world. Hug? :battingeyelashes:

:hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

I feel better now. You? :laughtwo: I'm anticipating the site being shut down for the upgrade at any time of the day, so let me take a quick moment to encourage you to be bold in your joyful expression. Lately, I've been asking myself "How would a small, happy child react to this situation?" Then I let myself explore that joyful stream of thought and action. It's made for some interesting moments out there with flesh and blood companions around. Lol!

I'm off to finally fix something to eat and then get out there and find some 32 oz solo cups, because the 18 oz ones aren't going to cut it long-term, are they? :laughtwo: I don't purchase solo cups for any other purpose aside from gardening, and it completely slipped my mind that they come in more accommodating sizes for canna cultivation. :cheesygrinsmiley: Thank you Dr. Doob. :hugs:

Before I dash off, how's about some on topic joy from the Timber COb tent full of CBD CCs? Well, I just happen to have a couple shots to bring a smile to your face. :battingeyelashes:

Lowered her down a notch. Those pieces of 2x4 Hash Hound cut for me are marvelous for this incremental light adjustment. I'll have him bring the saw back when the weather softens and cut a few more boards down. It sure is sweet to have handy friends with tools that understand the diverse needs of an indoor garden and are willing to be helpful. :battingeyelashes:

This one's in soil.

Her companion, a hempy babe. The difference is astounding. They look, for all the world, like different chemovars, don't they?

They're a week apart in flower. I'm still trying to decide who will replace 2.8 when she moves to the Spa. That likely won't be for another week. I'm still waiting on amber trichomes from Dinachem.

You're welcome. :kisstwo: Now get out there and have some fun. :cheesygrinsmiley:

In Malaysia?!?

Yep, in Malaysia

Nooooooooo. No, no, no, no, no.

Yes yes yes yes yes

LMFAO, NO.

:rofl::rofl: yes

Yeah... ... ... ... ... If you are lucky. I read an article, a little over a year ago I think it was, couple p!ssed-off looking cops, one holding a potted cannabis plant - looked to be about six leaves on a little stem - and there was another plant in the picture that looked slightly better, but still just leaves. They also found a baggie with about an ounce of leaves in it. They were like, "We WILL find the owner."

I do not know if this information is still valid. However, even if things have improved somewhat since 2014 since the article was published on Sensi Seeds' website, but I cannot envision anyone's attitude about a thing going from "Hey, man, you touched my sneakers, so <BANG> I just shot you in the head" to "You touched my sneakers? <LAUGHING> That's okay, bro, here, have a cookie!" in only four years.

Nooooooooo.

Yeah it's bad over there, drug wise. For what I'm going for, it's stunning. Looking forward to resetting my tolerance too :lot-o-toke:

They don't screw around over there, from everything that I have read. If I'm not mistaken, the presumption of innocence is codified into their Constitution, but the laws have sort of reversed this, meaning that in practice, the accused ends up having to prove their innocence.

Must be a magical, beautiful, wonderful place, if cannabis users go there, presumably spending money...even though their laws are still so draconian.

I wouldn't even want the multiple lashes. Several of those, and you'll need a new shirt - and medical attention.

Im not for lashes either, unless Mrs A is holding the whip and that's only when I've been a good boy.

:laughtwo: OMG Amadeus.........

I just made plans with my best friend to meet her and the family in San Deigo in May, where she rented a beach house for a week instead of having a big blow-out party in her home in Phoenix. :yahoo:

Anybody I can meet while I'm there? :battingeyelashes:

A week on the beach. Does life get any better than that? :cheesygrinsmiley:

It just hit me.....SweetSue is going to California! :yahoo: :yahoo:

Can you believe that? Two days ago....a mere two days ago I posted pictures of my beach walk on my Spot so I could look at them and feel warm sand and water and sun and.... oh my goodness, I told the universe I'd like that to be repeated soon.

Then I forgot about the asking and I just enjoyed remembering how wonderful that was going to feel. :cheesygrinsmiley: Jamaica was fun. San Diego will be family fun in an incredible beach house - guys, it's amazing! - and possibly meet a couple members along the way, visit a couple gardens, talk Canna therapies, visit a dispensary or two...or three. Hehehe!

Oh gosh..... joy for the sake of being joyful. Joy in spite of whatever comes along. Joy in every moment. Joy as the default.

The universe goes out of its way to bring you more to be joyful about. See, it's the vibration of joy that has all the energetic power, and when you vibrate joy it supercharges the universe. Of course they want that energy to continue.

And damn! Is this fun! :slide:

I'm already making plans to tear down before I head out. It may make it possible for me to head out earlier and have a couple more stops along the way. There are so many of you between here and San Deigo. :circle-of-love:

@InTheShed you may have to make a road trip! Man I do love the sights and California weather... But the people and traffic have to be the worst in the nation  For a bunch of people whos parents moved there, they really love to talk trash and stuck up their noses at anyone who wasn't born their.... however despite all the stuck up inflated egos, they do have some killer herbs :rasta:

Those califorinans could really use some positive sweet sue love in their lives! :Circle-of-love:
Show them how it's done :high-five:

I just made plans with my best friend to meet her and the family in San Deigo in May ... :

Hi Sue!

If you haven't been to San Diego, you'll surely love the weather and area, it's a very delightful spot on this earth. I lived there for about 2 years in the late 90s, the earth is awesome in those parts, the people ... well ... a little uppity for my tastes. "Locals" seem to forget we are all pale faced visitors to the native Indians lands. Not many folks I ran into were very tolerant of "outsiders", my thick accent stuck out like a sore thumb. Enjoy your trip, wish I wasn't on the other end of the Valley or I'd make a visit with you. I might be moving myself this summer, and it might be to a state that isn't as cannabis legal as CA. Time will tell, but it's looking like I might make the leap across the country again, to the rest of my life on a beach.

Peace
Keith

Oooh! SweetSue is taking a 420 road trip! :cheertwo:What a wonderful turn of events - bravo you! :bravo:

I wish I lived somewhere along the way :passitleft: would be very nice indeed to share a J with you in person. My garden is just a little bit out of your way tho!

I wonder when this site update is going to happen... ? I keep expecting to get the 'site down' message every time I load a page, but... here we still are... I've been holding off on an update 'cause I didn't want to get caught mid upload! Plus I didn't want to be messing up their migration by adding new files in the middle of file transfers. Guess they'll get down to the brass tacks of it later tonight. That gallery migration must be massive!!

Love  to your garden Sue :hugs:

Sounds exhilarating Sue! I've never been out of my neck of the woods so its sounds like a blast to me. Quick question also, why did you make the jump to doc buds high brix when you were enjoying the no till los method so much? Ive seen you usually keep both in rotation now but just curious as to why the switch? CC's mix did wonders for you if I'm not mistaken? Also wanted to pick your (and all your followers) brains a little and see what strains you guys have had the best consistent results with. For some background ill be using 400w timber led and trying my best to grow 1 monster to fill out a 3x3. Probably gonna get lotsss of training and possibly scrog. Any reccomendations are welcome! Has anyone had luck with swami or mobt landrace strains? Thanks in advance!

Ahhhh..... Sunday evening company. :battingeyelashes:

Oh, I wish you were closer. I was hoping..... You should see this beach house Keith. Incredible! I've been scrolling through the photos in wonder. It's steps from the beach, and I'm taking my canna cream for sunscreen. :cheesygrinsmiley: Uppity locals always seem to respond positively to the bright spot that is me. Lol! When you travel in a cloud of unconditional happiness things tend to go your way.

I'll live in my suit, when I'm not visiting members or being dragged along to fun things. :slide: I'm not much of a tourist, preferring to chill and just enjoy the natural rhythm of the waves. The beach. :dreamy: I'm getting better at this deliberate manifestation thing, ya think? This is the second beach vacation in as many years that I manifested in essentially the same way.

I'm starting to understand how important it is to completely suspend doubt, and why so many people can't bring themselves to trust that it really works enough to give it an honest try. Faith, true faith, takes childlike courage. From the time we're children we're taught that things don't always work out the way you want them to, when that's completely wrong, once you can manipulate your own energy. Why don't we teach children to create? I taught mine the fundamentals without being aware that's what I was doing. When I get my granddaughters back I'll teach them the finer points I didn't know when their parents were in my care. Then they can teach their children.

Oooh! SweetSue is taking a 420 road trip! :cheertwo:What a wonderful turn of events - bravo you! :bravo:

I have it from good authority that it might not happen for a couple days. I'd do the update now. And thank you Amy. The girls thank you too. :circle-of-love:

:welcome: LaquerHead. Good questions. Before I answer let me inquire, is there anything we can help you with as you settle into the virtual neighborhood? Are you considering a journal so members can join in the fun by watching over your shoulder? IMO there's not a better way to acclimate to the community at large.

Now, as to the questions posed..... Yes, I had great success with CC-style LOS, but I lacked the .......... interest I suppose would be the best term, the interest to delve into the study of organic soils to continue that success. If you know my history you know that the death of my husband was an upheaval of my personal life that took time to heal from, and studying LOS became a low priority. By then I'd been introduced to Doc's Kit, and I found it an intriguing and effective soil community with an irrepressible energy that keeps most pests at bay, something that can't be said for my journey with my no-tills, which became a continuious series of pest-control projects.

Doc's Kit is the bargain, for the money, and to be honest, you won't find many systems that'll grow the produce the kit will at any cost.

You see I also grow in hempy with expensive bottled nutrients. The plants I grow with RX Green Technologies are the most beautiful in my garden and rival the kit girls for quality produce, but they won't produce some of the desired terpene expressions you're only going to get with a living, organic soil. So I dabble in both, hempy for the ease and beauty, and Doc's kit for the same reason, plus the added bonus of tastier produce with more delicious flavors.

To be truly honest, the end results are close enough that most wouldn't know the difference, but then we're not most people, are we?

On the fringe of this historical perspective of my transition away from LOS was my involvement in the medical threads, which became more important to me than learning to be successful with LOS. I still strongly support the medium. In the beginning it was the sweetest ride, and that first harvest was a wonder. :cheesygrinsmiley: That soil helped bring me to the forefront here. It'll always have a special place in my heart.

If you're looking for the star of CC-style LOS you'll need to meet bobrown14. BB is our resident LOS guru, and in checking I see you found him. :battingeyelashes: You had to have seen his garden pictures while you were there. The man is a genius when it comes to growing cannabis with LOS and he's great fun to talk to as well. I think you'll like him.

I get my most consistent results out of CBD Critical Cure, a chemovar I most highly recommend for ease and for medicinal value.

Yeah I plan on "bugging" bob here and there with questions for some time haha. He seems very knowledgeable with LOS! Settling in, I'm doing alright and figuring most of it out. I have definitely been wanting to start a journal without a doubt! My LA Confidential showed its head this morning and just a few days ago my dark devil appeared! I was just kind of waiting on this update in order to learn how to post pictures. I do most everything on my phone via the app. I'm also not real sure how to start a journal....is there a template for such things? Lol. And even with LOS, over time, you can achieve a high enough brix reading (had you done one) to deter those pests as well correct? I have quite the IPM arsenal...I just hope its enough to keep them at bay?? Your continuous pest problem concerns me. I'm very anal on cleanliness and pest PREVENTION. Thanks for your help! .

I came at LOS with more passion than background, and losing Dale set me back so far I didn't have the heart to recover the soil. I passed the materials on to Jgrowlove, and he's having a blast with it all. :cheesygrinsmiley:

For certain you can get Brix high enough in LOS to deter pests, and CC-style is excellent for that. I failed to institute a consistent IPM, despite BB's persistent encouragement. Good on ya for preparing better than me. BB will be so pleased to hear that. :laughtwo: My problems had more to do with the power of grief than anything LaquerHead. Energetically, I was putting out very erratic and sad to the point of depressing vibrations, and the plants responded by getting pests. I'm much happier now, and the garden shows it.

I was an eager student. Good God LaquerHead, you should see my notes on LOS! Lol! I learned a lot, but life got in the way. Now that I'm getting better with the kit I don't see myself going back.

Hey....your Dark Devil is up? :cheesygrinsmiley:

I'm also not real sure how to start a journal....is there a template for such things?

Hi LaquerHead, not so much a template, but there is this...

How to make a grow journal

I'll look forward to it! I'm doing a grow with a mix of LOS and minerals right now so our paths will likely cross regularly. I've got plenty bugs, but I'm outdoors so it kind of inevitable! There's lots of beneficial ones too so my main task is trying to help maintain the balance. Healthy plants helps too. I have no idea of my brix but it's what I'm working towards. If you want high brix you need mineralised soil - lots of calcium. Check out some of DocBud's earlier grows (from years ago), he goes through lots of details about mineralising your soil. I'm not sure I quite got it exactly right this run, but they're looking pretty good, and it's my first run, so it'll only get better.

Anyway - I'm probably keeping Sue up with all this chatter! Sorry Sue, it's still early here... nighty night.

:rollit:

Yes yes yes yes yes

You've got bigger balls than I do, buddy. I wouldn't take cannabis into that country for a hefty paycheck, let alone for my own use. Or did you misunderstand what I was saying?

EDIT: Or maybe it was a mutual misunderstanding, lol. I was telling you not to take cannabis to the country. Upon rereading, I think you were just telling me that was where you were going - not that you were taking drugs into the country.

It just hit me.....SweetSue is going to California!

As long as you're coming back, lol.

I'm giving up on the DDA and SSDC seeds. I think they've been soaking for eight or nine days. Time to drop another of each.

I started reading that book you mentioned. Apparently, if someone has a <25% chance of survival (five years) even following the recommended treatment, and does so, that is also considered to be radical remission. I can see the point, there, but it does make the RR statistic less than useful when trying to separate that subset of people from those who managed to achieve remission via non-standard methods. I am hoping that it gets broken down into separate groups later in the book (I'm not skipping around, just reading through it). The author mentioned nine things that seem to appear more than any others (in regards to radical remission). I am hoping that she treated the subject scientifically - that is, that she also researched how many people tried all of those nine things but still died, that she researched how many people didn't try all nine of those things - or, perhaps, any of them - but still survived, et cetera. If so, it should be an interesting and useful book.

Apologies for the short post.

Additional content EDIT: I have also been looking for the large Solo cups for a while. I have been to every grocery store, department stores that carry groceries (ChinaMart), and almost every convenience store in my local area. But I have yet to find anything larger than the 18-ounce size. They used to sell either a 24-ounce or 32-ounce version (the former, IIRC) but I haven't seen any for years. I did learn that Mountain Dew is now sold in a 1.25-liter bottle in addition to the 2-liter ones. They're tall and skinny. I have thought about using them - and probably will, since I have two of them - but I really do not see the benefit in doing so. For seedlings and very young plants, yes, but not for a plant of any real size. My reasoning is that the plant will take up more grow room area than the skinny bottle; if a plant takes up n units of floor space, it would seem that nothing would be lost (and something would be gained) by using a container that takes up the same amount of floor space instead of some fraction thereof. OtOH, lol, it's a lot cheaper to fill a cup (or small bottle) with soil/etc. than to fill a large bucket.

I'm feeling lost.

Anybody know how to load into the gallery?

Finding my way. : )

High SS,

I know the feeling. Might take awhile to get back in the groove again. We can still have fun, though!
