SweetSue's Perpetual 3.0 - The Hempy/HB Hybrid Grow

Enjoy your day.
Bingo eh? Gimme a four digit number that tickles your fancy when you get home.
I'll play it here all week and if we win, Jamaica is on me.;):high-five:

7246

It's as good as any, and when I stopped and asked it was the one that stepped forward. Have fun expecting a hit. :slide: Feel the surf rolling across your toes as you appreciate the lilac haze of the Jamaican sunrise. :battingeyelashes: If you can truly expect it and feel it as though it was right now the universe has a sharper signal to deliver in a timely manner. Last year I grabbed the thrill of seeing the island come into view through the window of the plane. You don't have to see it so much as feel it.

I don't know about you, but I love the thrill of the chase with the lottery. I don't buy regularly, but I have no hesitation picking one up when I get the whim and no regret if it doesn't hit. I kinda like being a small part of someone else's windfall. :cheesygrinsmiley:

The people who change passwords are out of town for the weekend, so no computer time again. Instead the coordinator and I stood outside while she smoked her cigarette out of view of her charges :laughtwo: and discussed the possibility of me leading a gentle exercise class to the group. It'd be a series of about five that they'd do before they started BINGO and possibly a full class on another day. I think it's a great idea. I'd love to teach them my Daily Stretch routine, but that requires you to get on the floor and they have liability concerns.

Rather than be frustrated by that I figure I can demonstrate them, explain how they would benefit a participant, mand let them find their own way to them. I'm much more limber than the average member of this group. I'm the child among them. :laughtwo:

I came home to get the updates done before we head out for groceries and possibly dinner out but the phone ran out of juice partway through pictures, so it'll have to wait. Instead, I went out to organize my inventory. That's when I found these two small jars of Early Miss and Med GOM from well over a year ago.

IMG_84904.JPG

As old as they are they might make extraordinary sleep meds for the daughter. They're over a year and stored badly, two of the prime considerations for an increase in CBN.

Then I spotted a jar I'd completely missed.

IMG_84898.JPG

I'll be out of contact for a while. Lol! The first tiny hit èxploded in the lungs and had to be taken as two. :laughtwo: God, I love this chemovar. A 3.5 month cure......happy day for SweetSue! :slide:

Hopefully I'll get the updates in today. With this new find I'm not making any promises. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Are you having fun exploring your day? :battingeyelashes: Good. Glad to hear it. Keep it up and the universe brings more fun, more beauty, more love, more joy, more everything to appreciate. How do you not get behind a plan like that?

Have a great time Sue. Friend of ours recently won $700 playing bingo at the local club - hope you have a fruitful day as well!

Take care,
Dan

Dan!!! :woohoo: Welcome back buckaroo. :hugs::hugs::hugs: Oh wow..... the day just got significantly better. :battingeyelashes:

:laughtwo: They take the BINGO so seriously. Lol! I stood and watched and it's good for keeping the mind sharp, I'll give it that. Maybe the exercises can be promoted as a way to improve brain dexterity in preparation for the game. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Be eYe eN Gee Oh was my name-O.
happy friday:Namaste:

Happy Friday keltic :hugs: That song runs in my head everytime they pull out the equipment. :laughtwo:

That plant of yours is a jewel. I understand what you mean about gaining familiarity with the chemovar. I'm starting to see patterns and recognize healthy growth in the regulars. Sweet J keeps distracting me with other options. :laughtwo: I figure the universe is aiding me in my search for pain meds for my friend with cancer. The opioids aren't doing it for him but he keeps upping the dose. *sigh*. One of these three he recently brought me must be the elusive relief. It's a matter of fitting them into the schedule.

The daughter, in a gesture of appreciation for all I do to keep her sane, has offered to invest $200 into the grow. I've been thinking about the best use of those funds, and I believe some small equipment additions would be the way to go. A few decent fans would allow me to double up the occupancy in the tents without fear of mold. It's about time to grab a humidifier too. This is the month they go on sale, so I'll keep my eyes peeled.

I'd really like to lock down production goals this year.

Ahhh..... time to go to early dinner. Catch you later. :kisstwo:

........ Dan..... Hehehe..... So happy to have you as a sponsor again.

I can't wait to start a pain topical, I'm all excited now that I've seen so many versions. You sound wonderful, your tree's are still merry and bingo was his name-o!
much love,

They can be as simple or as complex as you choose to make them, but I'd they're made with infused oil they'll do the job. I use plain infused oil sometimes too, and I'm not the only one. The stuff is crazy powerful! I use plain infused coconut oil on my face and it's got the patches of psoriasis under control now, and my skin looks fabulous. :battingeyelashes: Don't forget the Dorsal Medial Radi at the top of the back. The reports I get about migraine relief are very encouraging. Feel it coming on, rub in some pain cream and there's a good likelihood you'll not get the migraine.

That alone is worth having them. I don't get headaches, but I still rub cream in the DMR to keep my endocannabinoid tone level. It'll improve your mood too. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Check the second hand stores for humidifiers, pennies on the dollar.

Now that hadn't occured to me. I'll mention this to my friend when we go walking this weekend. She'll love the hunt almost as much as I do. Lol!

I need to do that myself.

Looking good as always Sue.

Thanks GT. :hugs: I looked at them just a few minutes ago as I was doing some soil drenches and shaking my head in wonder. They keep me in awe.

A sponsor again good deal-io.
I have been runnin my Timber Kit for a year last October (15 months-ish?) with happy plants to show for it.
Thanks for the help !
:Namaste:

For the longest time my entire garden was lit thanks to the generosity of Dan. Now I can finally stop trying to crop the fixtures out of the pictures. :laughtwo:

Alright, how's about we get this updating going? :battingeyelashes:

Weekly Update: Clone Cuttings and Veg Shelf - Friday, February 2, 2018

Over here in the dark corner the casual clones are busy doing what they do.

IMG_85576.JPG

I've got two Jamaicans with roots, but nowhere to put them, so they'll likely get tossed tomorrow. I may put one in a solo cup.

IMG_85587.JPG

There are now 11 plants on the veg shelf. This next week I'll make some big decisions about their futures. There are only so many slots in flower, and timing is everything.

IMG_85609.JPG

Starting with the solo hempies,

IMG_85617.JPG

Jamaican 1.2 (Day 11) All of hempy girls in veg are on the same feeding schedule. See? I'm starting to catch on. Lol! This week they're drinking 8 ml Parts A & B with 4 ml of Energy per gallon of water used. All hempy water also had 2 teaspoons of CaliMagic per gallon of water used.

I'm not looking for more out of her than she's showing. A week or so of steady growth and I'll get her into her finish pot. I'm looking forward to seeing what she can do hempy. If the terpenes are similar it increases my options, and I really like more options. :battingeyelashes:

IMG_85626.JPG

IMG_85635.JPG

Devil's Carnival 1.6 (Day 23) Showing some interesting structure here.

IMG_85649.JPG

Color looks spot on for a healthy DC.

IMG_85658.JPG

Devil's Carnival 1.5 (Day 32) She's going through that awkward stage her sister shares of defining the growing stage. She thought she was blooming. :laughtwo:

IMG_85667.JPG

Throwing out single blades, so just a while longer.

IMG_85677.JPG

DC 1.6 is also shooting out single blades.

IMG_85686.JPG

IMG_85699.JPG

My little frankenplants. :battingeyelashes: I started watering them every day. Might as well get used to it now. Lol!

Candy Cane 4 (Day 36) She's about due for a Trans drench. It's been 12 days now's once her last drink, so I figure tomorrow or Sunday. Just the other day she started to grow in earnest. Maybe the DeStress foliar all the soil girls got two days ago had something to do with it. :dreamy: She was topped on Monday.

IMG_85704.JPG

IMG_85716.JPG

Look at the size of the leaves she's starting to put out! I'm a little intimidated.

IMG_85727.JPG

CBD Critical Cure 3 (Day 61) As soon as either CBD CC 2.7 or Chemdawg are ready for harvest she'll step in behind. I'll follow Doc's recommendation to transplant and flip. No additional veg time. This should stop the fade my plants keep suffering right before the CATs. It's been 13 days since I topped all the leaders.

IMG_85739.JPG

IMG_85746.JPG

You can see all the new tops coming along. Her slot should open up in about a week or so. I just need to keep her happy until then.

IMG_85756.JPG

Jamaican 1.3 (Day 4) She made it up to the shelf yesterday. Her only job for the next week is to grow roots.

IMG_85785.JPG

IMG_85804.JPG

Royal Gorilla (Day 7) I still have no idea where I'm going with her, but she's not pushing the subject yet. I'll make up my mind in a day or two and get her upcanned.

IMG_85816.JPG

IMG_85824.JPG

Devil's Carnival 1.3 (Day 40) Today was drench day for her, a strong Energy, which occured directly after these pictures were loaded in. Lol! Yesterday I micro-topped her leaders. I'd like the center growth to get some chance to catch up. The leaders are mighty strong and aggressive. It's gonna be a trick. This may be a chemovar for hempy.

IMG_85835.JPG

IMG_85845.JPG

IMG_85853.JPG

IMG_85866.JPG

Red Diesel (Day 84) Today she had a hefty Trans drench. She's starting to come back from the severe trim I gave her. I really need to sit down with a calendar.

IMG_85878.JPG

IMG_85886.JPG

IMG_85896.JPG

She's working really hard on catching a ride into flower. It's a matter of space. I may start to double the tents up for a while until things slow down. The Spa won't be taking on more than one plant at a time, but I may be able to get a couple of the others in as partners.

IMG_85904.JPG

IMG_86027.JPG

CBD Critical Cure 2.8 (Day 21) Yesterday she met the training pins. :cheesygrinsmiley:

IMG_85916.JPG

IMG_85928.JPG

Growth exploded and suddenly I saw the potential to get her set up to go. She's laying out real pretty, don't you think?

IMG_85937.JPG

I spotted the hygrometer as I was taking pictures. Sweet! The apartment at large sits around 25-30% RH and over here it's holding around 45. :yahoo: Why, you ask?

IMG_85945.JPG

IMG_85958.JPG

Simple, but effective. A tent would be nicer, but they do well enough with what's available.

IMG_85964.JPG

Black DOG (Day 7) I haven't determined her future yet, and today I had some extra Trans drench sitting there while she was looking thirsty, so I dropped her into the bucket. She intrigues me. She doesn't look like anything I've ever grown. :laughtwo: It occured to me today that J and I make completely different selections when we go chemovar shopping. Lol!

IMG_85975.JPG

IMG_85997.JPG

She's got vigorious growth going on. It's a matter of timing, and with this girl it means she's due to be cut way back.

IMG_86006.JPG

The question is where to cut?

IMG_86014.JPG

Every day the girls get shifted under the Timber quantum boards. It's a dance I've always made them participate in. :battingeyelashes: All tucked in.

IMG_86065.JPG

On to the flowering girls. :ciao:

Weekly Update: Flowering Girls - Friday, February 2, 2018

Jamaican 1.1 (Day 104, flip + 28) I've learned what I did wrong with her, and I've figured out how to deal with the shortage in the soil community. The plants that follow her will benefit from what I've learned here. Two days ago she had a DeStress foliar with the rest of the girls, sprayed about ten minutes after lights went out. Right before that she had a strong Trans drench. Tomorrow she'll be ready for the next drench, and I'll make that one a Rescue drench with a Roots topdress. Im considering sitting her on a SWICK to limit her stress of drying out. As her blossoming picks up that's gonna increase water demands. With a SWICK I can control the drench schedule better. I think it might be my best bet at getting the maximum harvest.

IMG_84913.JPG

There're a lot of tops. :cheesygrinsmiley:

IMG_84925.JPG

I apologize for the darkness. I'll do something about taking pictures in these tents.

IMG_84938.JPG

She's already overdue for her CAT, and she's beginning to frost up like mad.

IMG_84945.JPG

IMG_84954.JPG

IMG_84965.JPG

Healthy blossoms, hearty trichome expression, strong branches. I think I don't need to be worrying about her. :battingeyelashes:

IMG_84986.JPG

IMG_85004.JPG

IMG_85015.JPG

Chemdawg (Day 95, flip + 46) This is her last week on nutrients, drinking only 12 ml of Parts A & B per gallon of water. She's beginning to take on the sweet smell of pre harvest. :slide:

IMG_85024.JPG

IMG_85034.JPG

IMG_85055.JPG

The top buds have the most unusual shape. :laughtwo:

IMG_85064.JPG

IMG_85078.JPG

Tight, frosty buds.

IMG_85085.JPG

She's still blooming, and quite aggressively at some points on the plant. Flush begins next week.

IMG_85104.JPG

IMG_85125.JPG

IMG_85144.JPG

CBD Critical Cure 2.7 (Day 115, flip + 55) What a beauty! She's finishing her first week of flush and hasn't yet begun to feed off her fans. I haven't checked the trichomes yet. I know she's not ready.

IMG_85266.JPG

I added a center pole to get branches pulled up. Things were falling over :laughtwo:

IMG_85276.JPG

The pot, plant, and pole are all tied down to the weighted crates. She's not going anywhere.

IMG_85286.JPG

IMG_85304.JPG

Wonderfully frosty. So many trichomes the leaves are curling over. Lol!

IMG_85334.JPG

IMG_85362.JPG

IMG_85373.JPG

IMG_85389.JPG

IMG_85395.JPG

IMG_85419.JPG

IMG_85428.JPG

I figure at least another week. It can't be soon enough for CBD CC 3. :laughtwo:

IMG_85437.JPG

Malawi 1.2 (Day 95, flip + 39) She's begun the weaning off of flower nutes, drinking 10 ml of Parts A & B with 4 ml of Bulk per gallon of water. Her lead tips got burnt at the top level, but that was the worst of it. This chemovar can take the full feeding. Good to know when I try again.

IMG_85447.JPG

Considering how damaged the genetics appear to be I'm amazed at how vigoriously she grows.

IMG_85456.JPG

IMG_85483.JPG

Trichome production begins. :yahoo:

IMG_85539.JPG

IMG_85548.JPG

I'll slow down the decent from nutes. I'm assuming she'll need about 3 - 4 weeks longer than the other chemovars.
IMG_85557.JPG

IMG_85566.JPG

And that, ladies and gentlemen, completes this week's nickle tour. Thank you so much for indulging this need to show them off. :laughtwo: I do hope they brought you some measure of joy. They fill my life with wonder. It's a delight to share with you.

Have a wonderful evening. :Namaste:

Weekly Update: Carnival 4.6 - Friday, February 2, 2018

She fills her own niche, so I suppose she deserves her own update. :laughtwo: The reality is that I forgot to include her with the other girls. She's off in her own world. Lol!

Carnival 4.6 (Day 82) Two days ago she got an Energy drench and a DeStress foliar. The day before I removed all of her pins and she's now free to go verticle.

IMG_85154.JPG

What I've recently learned has me concerned that I've been vegging her too long in this pot and I'll have to take some preventative steps. Haven't worked all the details out yet, but this one's important to me. She's going to gift me with enough buds to give me some breathing space. I want breathing space to grow something else.

IMG_85164.JPG

She's as strong as any Carnival I've grown.

IMG_85183.JPG

The pin holding down the apical tip is still during duty.

IMG_85202.JPG

IMG_85213.JPG

IMG_85225.JPG

IMG_85237.JPG

IMG_85246.JPG

So far, so good. Now to get her the rest of the way. She's about ready to flip. I'm considering putting her into 15 gallons when it's time. That'd solve everything. :cheesygrinsmiley:

IMG_85255.JPG

Ok, that's all, I promise. :laughtwo:

My goodness Sue!
You got it poppin all over.
I love the cbd cc 3!
Actually I have many favorites in your yard, but she spoke to me tonight.

Sue....I know you wont believe this but your number played tonight!!!
It played in combination but it DID play.
The bad news is I didnt play.
MAJOR FACE PALM!:lot-o-toke:

Instead I filled my 55 gallon water tank and made a couple of bubble hash runs.
I am ashamed of myself but encouraged because I know your suggestions work!
I will say goodnight on that note.

:laughtwo: Almost unbelievable, eh? Lol! Not in my world. Stay the course Stage. Jamaica calls. :slide:

Fyi royal gorilla is very potent! Stronger than red Diesel In my opinion. Awesome update as usual!! I'm happy your sticking with the hb soil you have grown awesome plants in it. Make room for one more clone. Lemon haze is the last new one I'll have for u since u loved the last samples I gave u! Did u prefer the skunk version or the sweet lemon one??

If you plan to flip that gal in a week when you put her into flower let me suggest something.

Get her in the big pot now. She will go through the trans shock now. She will feel like a million bucks in a week when you are flipping the switch to flower. If you feel like a million bucks when you start something how does it go? As concerned about her as you sound I would sacrifice the soft pot she is in. I think them are a bad deal if you are moving plants around in them. If they sit and never move they are fine. Every time them pots flex it breaks all the delicate root hairs for feeding the plant. What I am saying is gently get her into the new container, if it means cutting the sides in 5-6 places so when you put her in you disturb the soil as little as possible don't worry about the pot that is causing you troubles.

Thank you for that input. The Royal Gorilla is the one I'll choose then. I may give you the other two back in place of the Lemon Haze, unless I can work out a double-occupancy plan with better fans. That plan is beginning to formulate. :cheesygrinsmiley: I've been after Lemon Haze since nivek got me interested with his crops. I'd prefer the sweet lemon one please. :battingeyelashes:

Holy heck! You are insane girl! So much beauty in one journal. Love it!

...and, Dan the man is here. So happy Timber is a sponsor again. I love my Timbers.
.

Awww, thanks GT. I keep trying to keep it more contained than this, but then again, it appears to be working. I'll have you know that I lay in this bed and consider rearranging this apartment to accommodate the 4x4 all the time. Lol! It's simply too big for my current space. I take it as a sign that I have bigger accommodations in my future. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Isn't it great to have Dan among us as a sponsor again? I haven't met a member yet unhappy with the lights or the helpful man. We'll have to join passions for a grow as soon as I harvest the Carnival under the GROWant GR480. :slide:

A week ago I'd have agreed with you. Doc is insistent that the plant be flipped at transplant into the final pot. He assures me that if I follow his lead I'll get the results I'm anticipating. This time I'll listen to him and do just that. My transplantations aren't stressful to my plants and never have been. She'll get more than double the soil to play in. I'm going with a 15-gallon pot. Today I'll tackle the challenge of finding a drip tray for her. Nothing I have will accommodate 15 gallons.

I've been looking into going with hard-shell pots, more for the footprint than anything else, but to be honest, I don't see that small root breakage as a problem. im gentle when I move them and the plant sends out more as soon as the breakage occurs. Root growth is a constant enterprise, to my understanding. It's simply more pronounced in veg. Fabric pots actually encourage more small root development by air-pruning at the fabric.

Good morning everyone

Time to get a shower before Pigeons gets his wake 'n bake going, but I have time to wish you all a sparkling Saturday, filled with the love and laughter of a joyful life lived to extreme. Let your vibration of joyful satisfaction be the point of attraction for those universal forces charged with extending your vibration through experience. Bet it's surprisingly wonderful. :battingeyelashes:

I've taken to grabbing the feeling of something special coming to me today, before I roll out of bed. I can share that the forces following me and extending experience have created a momentum of happiness unprecedented in my life. All those answers you seek will come in moments of play and delight, when you let go of the stress of "what do I do?" for the joy of cosmic inspiration. Inspired action never feels like something you "have to do" but rather something you can't keep from doing because you're so pumped about getting started.

That's the goal, trust the universe to inspire you, and be happy enough to let inspiration flow. Then have fun with it. Life is meant to be fun. It's meant to feel good. The choice is yours and yours alone. I'm hoping you're so enthralled with my happy countenance that it causes you to take that first tentative step to deliberately live in joy, because I know in my core that it's the deliberate nature of the choice to be joyful that makes the cosmic connection for the flow of energy we all want in our lives.

The key is to be deliberately happy. Not happy because things are going well. That's conditional happiness. Happiness because you choose to feel better is what does the trick. Your cells function at their best when you live in a sea of joy, another incentive to follow this plan. Your cellular community will surprise you with how appreciative they are that you choose to be joyful. It's a win-win all around.

Ok... I've wound my way down. :laughtwo: Get out there and play. I insist. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

Man! Sometimes I get awfully wordy, don't I? :laughtwo: Here....let me make up for it. :battingeyelashes:
