SweetSue's Perpetual 2.0 - The Transition To Doc Bud's HBB Kit

Heya Sue!! Happy wednesday friend! The plants look great. Those lights look mighty fun too. Will be interesting to see the power and effect of those bad jewels in the near future! :volcano-smiley:

Before I head out to walk, some fun photos.

You obviously haven't taken Sue up on the best way to wake up in the morning, then with optimism and a loud WOOHOO! :laughtwo:

Sue.....welcome back. At least you realize this fact early on. Im sure 420mag will find someone to fill the position. The news also gives me anxiety at times. But then again so does waking up. Hahaha :volcano-smiley:

I am also one who typically avoids reading or watching the news as I find it all so horribly depressing for the most part. I do listen to CBC (Canada's NPR radio station) but I can always put some music on if it's too depressing that day.

Canyon hit the nail on the head exactly. We missed you and we're glad you're back advocating for us and for 420 and for yourself and I'm also glad you got the mites under control.

:hugs::Love::Love::Love::Love::Love::hugs:

That has beautifly eloquent Canyon, and sums up pretty effectively my feeling about the situation. I'm much more sensitive to negative emotion than I used to be, and I translate it as an indicator that I'm headed in the wrong direction or looking at the situation before me with the wrong perspective, making erroneous judgements.

The constant battle to realign myself back to my center was too much for me to bear.

Ahhhh....... This feels much better. Thank you all for the love and support. Did we dream that? :laughtwo: First time I ever bailed on a job overnight. Threw the boss for a spin, I'm sure. Be nice to the man, he works his butt off for us. You have no idea what he sacrifices for our benefit.

The day started off with a particular brand of JOY, and I celebrated with a full brownie that's just now hitting like a freight train. :laughtwo: Tonight I go walking with a friend, a pasttime that always culminates in conversation over coffee and soup at the local Panara Bread.

Joy to begin the day, and joy to bring it to its close. Go ahead, let yourself enjoy the same thrill of overflowing joy that you can then share with those lucky enough to come near you. Create an atmosphere of joyfulness that will brighten every step along your own path.

Isn't it wonderful to have the universe back in balance? This is where I belong. :battingeyelashes:

:Love: :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs: :Love:

It almost feels like a dream. :laughtwo: The whirlwind of emotions was exhausting. I thought I was beyond that crap, and it was very humbling to discover I wasn't.

I couldn't be happier to be back to being SweetSue. :battingeyelashes:

I was looking at this one thinking how beautiful the trichomes are. This is my final pot of LOS soil.

The plant is beginning to foxtail like mad. :yahoo:

Well, I unpacked, looked at them, and immediately thought "I bet Hash Hound would know exactly what to do with these." :laughtwo:

Hash Hound, you're out there buckaroo, and have any aptitude for this, a helping hand would be much appreciated.

Sue

I told you I always have tools in my vehicle. I'd be glad to help you out with the lights.

He should have shipped them to my house, they would be put together by now.

And then of course I would have to test them out for a while to make sure they are working properly,

You're gonna be the lucky reciepient of the Vero 240, and you're gonna love it. Everyone I see growing with these lights can't go back to anything else. The plants just love the lighting.

I'll give you a call tomorrow and we can work out a time. Deal? :battingeyelashes:

It turned into a busy evening, and the tiny closet got shifted around.

I started by deciding the DDA6 was getting too tall for my confined spaces (Go Rifleman - great genetics! :high-five:) and required some LST.

IMG_52339.JPG

That led to me noticing that the CBD Critical Cure 2.1 was drooping from thirst. She promptly got two gallons of Energy drench.

IMG_52346.JPG

Everyone got realigned in the space.

IMG_5238.PNG

IMG_52375.JPG

She's droopy now because she's wet. :laughtwo: Look at the shine on those leaves though. :slide:

IMG_52397.JPG

Even the clone I thought I'd killed is growing shiny leaves under this light.

IMG_52405.JPG

The damaged leaves healed. Amazing! I have to give this one to the light.

IMG_5242.PNG

DDA6 is showing the same shiny leaves.

IMG_52448.JPG

IMG_52435.JPG

DDA7 is still under the CFLs, and you can see a noticable difference.

IMG_52457.JPG

IMG_52469.JPG

Still healthy, but lacking the same vigorious shine.

IMG_52478.JPG

From now on I'll be starting the next DDAs as soon as the previous ones are harvested. They'll start and finish under my new lights.

Carnival 3 got that double Transplant drench at long last. Took her forever to dry out.

IMG_52488.JPG

I added a little more light to her space. She'll get rotated every day.

IMG_52495.JPG

IMG_52508.JPG

Now I'm going back to my buzz. I pulled out some Carnival I harvested in mid December. So sweet and sticky I nearly swooned. :laughtwo: It gets stronger as it sits. :cheesygrinsmiley:

It caught me by surprise Tead, the way I reacted to the news. I had a visceral reaction to those in office legislating our access to cannabis that was a level of negativity I hadn't experienced since right after Dale passed. I'm still letting it go, obviously, and that was only after a couple day's exposure.

I interact daily with friends here who use cannabis to help heal themselves in effective, natural ways. Every news story about further restriction on something we can so easily grow and process on our own, thank you very much, is something I find difficult to deal with. I remembered why I'd avoided the news for the past two years.

I'm much happier not listening to all that, not feeling that anxiety and frustration.

I'm much happier as me. :battingeyelashes:  And I grow Carnival.

Oh yeah...... I'm going to have to take Emerald sooner than expected. The mites are webbing. Numbers are large enough to demand immediate eradication. I thought about sparing her a few more days, but the mites....... *sigh* It's like they were a manifestation of my frustration with the news. Those suckers took to webbing almost overnight.

Spot on decision SweetSue ..

I've stepped away from all other social media, news etc too.
This information on 420 that's being shared and developed is what's important for me to learn and process now.
This will help me, my family and friends, not negative doom and gloom fear mongering.

Great to have you back ...

Good Morning!
Love seeing those girls under the Vero. The tiny space has always been my favorite!

It's always been my favorite space too, but after I get the new Timber lights put together and hung the other spaces are gonna be unbelievable. I'm sitting here thinking about having an entire garden under these marvelous lights. :yahoo:

I did the same thing with Facebook when I found this virtual neighborhood. The negativity on Facebook can be shocking. It's like people forget we have filters on our brains. :laughtwo: It was a little surreal to find myself suddenly responsible for maintaining the content on a page. Another good reason to admit I wasn't a good fit to the job.

Good morning everyone.

The mites got another spinosad shower to greet the new day.

I haven't seen any webbing on Emerald, but you can see they're sucking all the chlorophyll from her fans. She's almost done anyway. Smells incredible. I was hitting the cured Carnival last night thinking about how much more delicious the strain is right after it hangs to dry. The aged hit like a freight train. :laughtwo: This is the first time I've held onto a harvest this long. I might actually be crossing over into a new level of cultivator skills, skills that have me with inventory. :slide:

 At least I see no movement.

One more round of spinosad and I think they'll be ready to come down.

These lights are wonderful. I assembled it with a splitting migraine but I got it done in a day easy, I wanna say 3 hours of actual work, I don't remember, and i work so slow...
And now photos under the white light are smooth. On my small camera I have a setting for tungsten light (?) which is 3000K i think it works pretty well. At some point gonna play with the white balance bracketing on my 'big' camera just for fun. . . but my small camera gets my trich shots, so that is my go to right now.
I think there is also electrical efficiencies that save money, my electric is included so i dont have a way to tell. :goof:

I forgot.........

It's a beautiful new day, filled with opportunities to create and share a little more joy. Grab those moments and relax into the thrill of contributing to the expansion of the universe. Move through your day surrounded by an atmosphere of joyful expression.

Joy people. Get out there and share it far and wide. :battingeyelashes:

Dan mentioned the efficiency. My electric supplier will appreciate the power savings. Lately they've taken to reminding me that I use more energy than the average household in my bracket.

I take it you have seeds developing? The genetic playtime has already occurred. What would you gain by chopping now? You have free seeds, possibly of unknown origin, but free nonetheless. I'd let them keep going, but let's see what the rest of the crew says. I've never gotten seeds, other than the occasional mystery one.

What's your biggest concern here?
