Good Morning Sweet ! How was Mexico ? I have some questions maybe you can help me with. The pot we use to get around here maybe twenty or more years ago was from Mexico. My much better half says the pot we bought was leaf not bud, and I don't think so. I thought maybe since you were in Mexico you might have some idea. I mean we use to get good and high on the stuff. I know sounds stupid, just wondering, can't ask the "all American, do good, always looking for Nazis, right wing, NEIGHBORS OF MINE.
Good Morning, MsBadger!
Mexico was amazing! It was the best trip I've probably ever been on. We were able to do a bunch of cool things that most gringos wouldn't get to do!
The weed was a very nostalgic experience. It was very poorly manicured(leafy) bud. It tasted and smelled just like the weed did when I was in high school. Monica's parents, who are twice my age said the exact same thing. We definitely got high. The weed wasn't as harsh as we thought it would be. But like all Mexican weed I've encountered, it was a little bit brown, and most importantly, seedy.
SOOO, I may or may not have some genuine Mexican weed seeds and I may or may not be planning on sewing those seeds for my next grow
This is based on my opinion and things I think I know. I could be wrong about some or all of the things I say in the following paragraphs.
Mexican weed has a very bad reputation. The climate, at least in the part of Mexico I was in was perfect for growing and it's like that most of the year. So why would the weed in a place like that....for lack of a better term, suck? Here is why I think Mexican weed has earned it's reputation.
The cultivation of cannabis in Mexico was punished pretty heavily for a long time. A field of weed is easy to spot from a helicopter, and plants get huge outside in sun like that, making them even easier to spot. Often time in places like that the growers will have to cut the plants down early, as soon as they have buds on them in some cases. Which diminishes potency greatly.
The other thing about it, is it's not properly dried/cured. I've heard a couple people say they use kerosene to dry the weed? I don't know if they do, and if so I feel like that would probably diminish the quality some.
SO I am going to find out. I will grow any females I may have until they are ready, and they will get properly dried and cured, and then we'll see. I have a feeling it'll be some decent genetics
Thanks for asking MsBadger! Hope all is well with you and the Mr.
