SweetLeef's Back & Organic

Was thinking I would do a quick update before I get rolling today. Lot's to do in the garden today.

I do have some unfortunate news regarding my Tangamangas. With the moving of my setup and the changing around of things on the fly, I messed up SO BAD and I plugged their light into one of my veg timers and I failed to change the timer to a flower schedule. I didn't notice this until about two days ago when I noticed weird, single leaves popping up everywhere on the plants. Major Re-veg. Would be so cool if I had the time or space to keep them.

I've got a whole bunch of blue dream clones, in solo's for about two weeks now ready to move up into their larger pots, and I've gotta get those tangamansas out of there. The rent is due. I took a few cuts, hoping the re-veging flowers will root ok and at least I can hopefully hang on to the genetics.

I think I will just cut them down, drop the new extra leafy buds into paper bags (BAR style) and keep the plant material there until I am ready to make the next batch of oil.

So once I chop the girls down, I will be potting up 23 clones out of the 26 I cut. Not bad! They will veg until the 1-5 of october when they will flip. Hoping to have some nice blue dream, and a lot of it by Christmas. I think I will also be flowering the big blue bream with all of the little ones. I'll hang onto one of the clones to keep the dream alive, if you will. But that giant mother is getting super huge.

I am also going to try and figure out a screen for the big girl as well. Try and maximize that giant girl.

Everybody else is rocking and rolling. I just got a Diatomaceous Puffer and it's super awesome. Makes the stuff way easier to deal with.

I have finished my chili extract as well. I will be spraying everyone down with my homemade bug spray later this week. It's time to get into a pest management regimen. Got a few gnats at the moment , and with the weather outside getting colder, it's time to beef up security around here.

That's the plan for the next day or so.

Hope everyone is doing well.

The tangamangas had some decent budge on them, But the re-veg was definitely a bummer. Filled grocery bag FULL of tangamanga goodness! Split it between three bags for proper drying.

I potted up all of the Blue Dream clones today. Out of 26 cuts, 21 made it to their final pots, 2 might not survive the transplant but we'll see.

The thing I am most excited about is the Blue Dream mother. I moved her into the tent with the clones and will flower her as well. I will hang onto one of the clones to replace her. But the exciting thing, is that I built a screen and put her under it. The Blue Dreams are in the small tent, going to fill it up!

Here she is under the screen!

3 weeks until flip 10/6

That's all for tonight. Hope all is well!

Looking great, brother Sweetleef! I am excited to watch her fill up the screen. Go baby, go! Hope all of those clones take off like crazy too!:love::love:

So for S's n G's I checked on the cuts from the revenging Tangamangas and, 3 days later, a few of them are getting roots already. I can't believe how fast these are rooting. Looks like I'll get to hang onto those Gens a little longer! Whew

Just gave the Blue Dream screen plant a defol. Found A LOT of bud sights under all of those leaves. I am really excited to see what the girls will do. I am going out of town for a week at the end of October. They will be about 3 weeks from flip when I leave. I can't wait to see them a week later!

I'm gonna head down and give the girls a watering. I think I will get up early tomorrow and give everybody their first dose of my chili extract. I will be doing straight chili and water on this run. I need to make more rosemary oil.

I'm kinda stuck in a holding pattern right now. Outta soil, outta pots, outta room. Still got a lot to do.

Hope all is well :)

The never-ending list of new soil supplies. :laughtwo: I keep trying to cut back, desire keeps driving me on. Here's hoping your holding pattern graduates to all systems go quickly.

I will be building a stovetop still in the next few days for the purpose of making essential oils.

I am very excited about this project :)

A still for essential oils is part of my dream. Step one, grow a bounty of herbs in the garden.

This year, my only real vigorous growth was chocolate mint and raspberry vine, so no still project for another year :)

I've got a giant rosemary bush, a small patch of thyme, access to lemongrass etc. And a big pressure cooker I got for free some time ago and have never used. I will sacrifice the free unused by me pressure cooker if it means I can make essential oils and maybe some shine. he he. But mostly for the oils!

So I was looking at the tents, and I changed the plant a little.... Typical SweetLeef.

I used the frame from my first tent to make two big screen frame, and used twine for the screen. I decided to flower the big mothers. I have a bunch of each mother now, except the Strawberry cough, gotta take some cuts tomorrow.

So I made the larger area the flower area again, and the smaller tent is once again the veg space, and once again it is too full and I don't have enough light!

In the new flower space, I have the 19 small blue dreams. Under the screen I have the blue dream mother, the Electric Dog Shit mother and another decent seized EDS, Strawberry Cough, Mt Hood Magic, S.A.G.E., and HarleSin. We flip in 3 days or so :high-five:

I feel a lot better that I figured out a way to move more of those plants along, they were getting SO big. Which I like, but I am very antsy to get my perpetual cycle rolling, then I can play with giant plants. For now, I need to get things moving.

The flower room will become difficult to navigate sooner than later:) a good problem.

Here a just a few quick pictures.

The screens

The small blue dreams, trying to leave myself a path to an area of the screen I can crawl under and access most of the pots for watering. I need a wand:goof:

The over stuffed veg area. I spread the ladies out when the I am not working in there, but that's what I've got to do for the next few months :)

The fungus gnats are really starting to take off with all of the beautiful organic soil I have available to them, so I plan on getting some nematodes in the soil in the next couple of weeks. I may release a batch of predatory mites just incase the borg is not gone from my plants. I haven't seen anything, but peace of mind is worth the 40 bucks or so the mites might cost.

That's where we're at today. I'll update again in a couple days when we flip :) Hope all is well

It's pretty cool to be in a legal state, for sure!

Today is the first day of 12/12 for the girls. They shut off at midnight tonight! Super stoked.

Ordered some nematodes yesterday, they should arrive Thursday! I am so excited to add them to the mix. Good by shitty gnats!

Thats about it for today. Hope all is well in yours :)

Nematodes have been deployed.

There was a lot of action from the adult gnats while I was pouring it on. I'm sure it was just me disturbing the plants. However, I like the think the nematodes sprung into actions and started wreaking havoc on grubs and eggs immediately, and the adults were pissed. I could have sworn that a bunch of them even bit me. Though I am pretty sure fungus gnats don't bite, a boy can dream.

:high-five:
