Sweet Leaf's First Grow: WW Auto

Good evening everyone. As you can tell shes been cut down and hung. Phew it was a bit overwhelming at first and kind of stressful lol but got better as i started to trim. Still have a ton of trimming to do but i plan on doing a little everyday until shes dry and ready for jars. I knew she was big but dam lol. Anyways i plan on taking off a few weeks or so maybe a month before i get the lemon auto underway. Pay more attention to others grows and pick up more info and knowledge. I got them hanging in my tent with the exhaust fan running and my small fan on low circulating the air. Im real happy that i can dry in the tent and keep the odor down. Think thats what’s going to work for me the best long term is just a single plant that i can grow and dry in the same space. Very easy and not to much hassle, if i work to hard i wont want to do it lol after work the lazy bone sets in and i tend to get to stoned and not do shit. So i use the KISS method for everything throughout my life. Thank you everyone for the advice and guidance along the way. Especially @MrSauga who taught me how to do this. I really appreciate the things you’ve taught me and getting me to where i am at now. You're awesome man!!!

I bet it's less ;)

It's a pleasure to help when and where I can and I'm glad you found some of my help useful :) You picked things up quickly and did most of the teaching yourself. Well done and be proud of your accomplishments.

Are you done trimming the plant or do you do a final afterwards? I ask because I do see some leaves that don't look like sugar leaves that could probably be trimmed a little closer to make the smoke a little smoother. Any leaves with necrosis should be trimmed tightly as well.

Great job and a great reward. Enjoy the bounty!!!

Thank you Mr.S!!!! I am forever grateful. I am in the process or trimming. Kind of do a little everyday as she drys. As i was trimming i noticed something that looks weird to me so i am going to post a pic of it. Idk if its just how these plants are or what, but to me it looks strange.

Is that just how the bud looks on the inside? Just looks real raw and white to me but idk if the drying process will take care of that or not.
Yes it should look like that. What you don't want is bud rot. If you read from this post on through this link you'll see some good pics of what you don't want. @FelipeBlu posted the best ones imho when you see the fuzzy hairs.
Heavenly Hybrid’s Hideout: Jump In Anytime

Go back and forth from that post to read a bit about what Heavenly Hybrid had to deal with.
Ill take a trimming machine anytime, this is some tedious, time consuming work lol. Is there any tricks or best ways to trim these babies? Make have to get a second pair of trimmers and get the wife workin.
It's why we call it trim jail. You can be in there for a while and it sucks :thumb:

Wet trimming seems to be easier. If you do a bud wash then trim after the buds are wet. Turning the colas upside down and trimming the bottom fatter part first allows most of the smaller leaves to fall past the smaller top so you're not always brushing the bud.

Two pairs of scissors. One sits in alcohol AFTER you scrape the sticky stuff off(save and put in a blunt or bowl when dry) so your scissors are always clean to trim with(wipe dry before use). To be honest there's no easy way. You'll find your own little tricks as you go along. It's tedious work but worth it in the end :)

Ok that is brilliant two pairs of scissors lol. I realized that the more she drys out the more the leaves curl in and disappear. Idk how the hell you guys manage to trim several plants + haha. Ill give her another go tomorrow my ass is stoned and done for the night o_O

Yes, then some wilt and it's even harder. The best time to harvest is at lights on btw, something I forgot to mention. The plant becomes perkier when it's waking up and the terps are at it's best.

We just give 'er a gidder done! I try and take one down at a time and get it done on weekends.

I'll be heading in that direction shortly.

My last ww has been in a jar for 2 months now. Just cracked them open after 2 weeks or so since last opened. Mmmmmm
:bong:out of a bong like this one. Felt the whole week roll off my shoulders.
;)
Haha im sure it was pretty potent after some cure time like that. I have just a little left from the first ww i harvested and it definitely gets me to where i want to be and sometimes more than id like but im really looking forward to trying this new girl out after letting her go longer. Ill get some bud pics up after they get trimmed up more. :yummy:

I think she's been ready for a while. Some plants, including the Zlittlez I am growing now may never show a lot of ambers. I felled a Pineapple Express Auto that went over a 100 days. It probably could have went another 100 but at one point you just have to chop.
Hi Mr. Sauga. Love your avatar. Do you have a journal for that Pineapple auto? I’ve got four of them and and getting ready to move them outside to finish flowering...to make room for four Cinderella 99’s. I’ve not seen a lot of either of those strains featured here. Thanks for any advice you may have.

Hi Boo!
I do have a journal for that one and it can be found here:

Have a great day!

No not on cement. Lift them up with lifters if you have to but keep them off concrete. The plants don't like cold feet and concrete sucks the heat out of the pot

Not at all. I'll get you a link shortly to follow and participate in.

Not sure... @Preston9mm may have a better idea.

Don't use salted water. Not good for plants. Tap is fine and most people will let it sit for 24 hours and many use it right away. Plants need some chlorine so as long as it's not high then you're good. Rain water works well and snow is a pain to melt for what you get back but ya it's OK. I'd try your tap water first and see how the plant reacts with the higher PPM content.
I don’t think he’s using salt water. What I got from it was he makes salt water for a aquarium. And the only thing he’s grown before is coral and grass for said aquarium . It seems you’ve read enough to know where your water needs to be. Rain water or snow is fine and if you run into an issue where you don’t think your water is good, get water from a big box store until your free water is where you want it . Drinking/ distilled water I think is what it called on label .
