Sweet Leaf's First Grow: WW Auto

Good afternoon all!! Got a good watering in earlier. Took the ladies out for a closer inspection. Looks like one of ww1(left plant) fan leaves got a little fried from the heater. I moved her around so hopefully that wont happen again. Other than that i wish i had more room. Its a little tight in this 2x2 already. Anyways, happy friday!!

I have 3 4×4 and I wish I had more room I think the more space you got the more plants you have the less room you have it is a vicious cycle  :meatballs:

Wish i could defoliate or something but idk what im doing and dont want to risk any infection.

Sometimes you just have to start somewhere. I've always hand watered and I've never felt good about watering bottom leaves. I don't want them wet for any reason so I start taking them off at the bottom and take off all the vegetation up until I feel like I've taken enough so that I water the soil. Now if you do this in a few days you'll realize you could have trimmed much more vegetation off and you'll become more comfortable taking off vegetation strategically.

Trimming the end of the branch causes plant auxins to be distributed and developed within the branch cut from that point to the main stem. Plant cells will elongate and you will see the growth over a short period.

Keep those trimmers clean with iso alcohol. Oh....and some of this stuff is like Nike....Just do it!
Really I never heard that that would make it hard to uppot and you dont want them getting any light

Most will tell you that autos should be grown in their finishing pot. Seeing the roots at the bottom of a fabric pot is common. The pots will actually trim the larger roots and allow only very fibrous roots to extend beyond the bottom of the fabric. Light will not bother them.

Well now im thinking lol i know it will be more and more of a pain to water. Im not so much concerned about my girl right then i am with the left. I just want them to beable to breathe and grow as good as they possibly can. Without stunting anything lol.

Oh and i can clean my bowls and glass pipes with the alcohol to right? Ive heard of it working really well instead of the old boiling water method lol. Ill probably get some pruners at some point today since i dont have any.

Pluck a few here and there to keep those tips of the limbs coming off the main branch open to light.

On topping
Autos may not recover and fill out before it goes to flower. That is what i have read. I have not tested this out with my autos. I do like lst for autos.

There are alot of guides on lst, low stress training. It works great with autos. And there really is nothing to it (After you break a few branches anyways). Dont let that scare you just be gently forceful withem. It will help increase your yields in the same that toping would do.

Think im just going to try and do some plucking to open her up a bit. Whats the worst that could happen? Should i still be doing lst now, like the the branches that are extending out?
