Get your own tomatoes, you can't have mine, lol. I usually only grow one hybrid tomato, early girl. Just because I want some tomatoes earlier than the heirlooms will make them.

Don't dim the lights, shading with thick tomato canopy would do I think.

I have an update. Here are a couple pics. 1 week and I have several of the Beefsteak popping up and 1 of the cherries so far.

I will post some more pics later, but almost all my Beef Steak have popped, more then 1/2 of the cherries and the carrots are starting. No peppers yet, but hopefully soon!!!

Most will be going outside. But a few will stay in and be transplanted into my High Brix soil.

I really do need to put some updated pictures up. The carrots are huge. They will probably be ready the beginning to middle of June. It said about 60 days on the seed packs.

The tomatoes are begging to be moved outside, but it is still a little to cold. Maybe another week or two.

Is it still getting that cold there at night? Maybe construct a simple cold frame box to acclimate them to the outdoors? My mother threw quick ones up made with cast-off windows and concrete block. Milk or water bottles (gallon) with the bottoms cut out make quick covers for chilly nights after they're in the ground.

I may get some out this weekend. Unfortunately, The bulk of them is for the Church community garden. We are building the boxes this weekend, filling them with dirt and putting or wood chips and such around then boxes next weekend, then the fence company comes in on 6/1 to put the fence up and keep the critters out. So in a nut shell, after 6/1.

They're loving that HB soil. By now they should be getting planted, no?

I will be putting a couple of the tomatoes into 1 gal pots in the next day or so. 6 or 7 of the tomatoes are starting to flower. Hopefully it will warm up enough for me to move them outside this weekend.

I was just checking the long range forecast. It seems that starting this weekend, the weather will be 70's + during the day and mid 50s at night. I should be able to start moving some things outside, and uppotting the ones I will keep in the tents in HB.
