Supergroomer - Back & Smaller Than Ever

SUB'D! Oh, sorry, didn't mean to be so loud. Gotta keep this quiet, shhhh.
I've got one BB bean left. I'm filling my Amaz*n car getting ready for Christmas, going to ditch my 420 Soil.

Here is a pic of the new tent. The babies are about 1 week old. Do they look ok to you all? My RH is a bit low (21%) and I am trying to get it up. I misted the walls of the tent with water, but it evaporated so fast and got sucked out the tent that it didn't make a difference. This AM I put a 9x13 pan of water in the tent. We will see if that helps. I am trying not to have to get a humidifier. Any other suggestions? :peace:

Can you lower your fan speed without temps rising?

Maybe place a pan of water outside the tent in front of the air inlets too. Basically it won't matter what you do inside the tent if you are extracting the entire volume of the tent every couple of minutes then the environment outside the tent needs to be adjusted to fix the inside of that makes sense. What can you do to increase humidity in the room the tent is in? Crack a window, pull air from a different room, close windows.

I was actually thinking the same thing as I was driving into work. I am in a closed closet vented to the attic. I have the fan as slow as I can and keep the temps normal. The RH outside the tent is about 31%. I am going to see what I can do to raise the RH in the room. :thanks: :peace:

Could you during veg vent right back into the same room so that as the plants transpire it increases the rh in the room a little at a time all the time. Or maybe even just half of the exhaust back into the room. So that some fresh air is coming in and some stale is going out still. Then when they start to flower vent back to the attic and let the rh come back down for the remainder of the grow.

Unfortunately no. I tried that to start I and I could get the temps blow 93. Big light, small space. :peace:

You could consider using an air stone and air pump in a glass or a bowl of water in the tent. I do this under the dome for my starters. Brings RH up too 99% in a dome. Has to help in a tent.

You should really find or make a dome for that seedling pan, super groomer. That will really help your RH.

my humidity is about 35% and i need to water all the time lol not bad but also seems to cause some drying of leaves if it gets any lower than 35%. looking great groomer! looks like they are happy and healthy :cheertwo:

I tend to mist my seedlings several times a day in winter because my heat pump dries the whole house out. I have also had luck closing the heating vent in the room so that not so much dry heated air is entering. Electric heat is notorious for drying out a house. As the babies mature and move to larger pots my problem usually goes away.

Did you ever get a fourth seed to join the party?
