Super Lemon Haze - Indoor First Grow

Hey KingJohn :)
How can i PH adjust my water ? is there any home remedy that i can use ? how many gallons do i need to pass through my pot ?
I currently have 40 Litre Pots.
What does Molasses do ?

i would recommend you get some pH down meant for hydroponics, you need a small 3 cc syringe to measure the pH down and a pH test kit. i have heard of people using white vinegar or lemon juice to lower pH as well.
you need to pass at least twice the volume as the pot in pH adjusted water through it to flush.
molasses is full of nutrients, bacteria and trace minerals. some people use it as a fertilizer as well at 1-2 tablespoons per gallon.

Thanks for the information KingJohn :) i bought some Molasses today and found the Ph adjustment kit at the pet shop ( used for fish tanks ).

I passed by a lighting shop today and found this CFL with a reflector built in just like a Spot light. Its 120W equivalent :)
I replaced most of the ones i had with one like this one. I noticed that its way much brighter and more focused ;)

I also found some 3000K MH bulbs. Do you guys think its worth it for me to get them and replace the 6700k Mh bulbs i currently have at this point ?

3000k is more like a flowering number. I would stick with the 6700k. You really want that blue or "cool" color for veg and "warm" or orange for flowering. But I've never heard of a metal halide that had that kind of warm color to it. Usually that kind of color would come from a high pressure sodium light rather than a metal halide.

for vegetative growth you want a cool white 6500 kelvin light bulb and a warm white 2700 kelvin light bulb for flowering. if you have a digital ballast you can get a 2700 kelvin High Pressure Sodium light bulb for flowering that will work with your ballast.

My Ballast is only for MH.
But they make 3000 Kelvin Spectrum for Metal Halides now ! they are quite pricey but i was wondering if i should replace my 6500 Kelvin Mh bulbs with these ones as they are closer to the flowering spectrum..

Hey elious, thanks for the reply.. Why should i stick with the 6700K if i am already in flower right now ? Check out the video i posted in the link above this one..

End of Week 5 Flowering - Garden Porn ;)

So things are looking pretty good right now and i am really pleased with how its all going so far.

2 days ago i did some trimming, gave them a small haircut. Just made sure that everything is getting good amounts of light and not shaded by any leaves. I didn't remove fan leaves. just trimmed some a bit and tucked some.

Here are the latest photos taken today.. Enjoy :)
let me know what you think.

Lookin nice there raven the new growth spurt after trimming is emence I find.
There seems to be a fair few of us growin slh don't u think?

Yeah i think trimming to get more light is beneficial. I didn't over do it but just small trim and tuck here and there and every single bud has access to light now and loving it :)

I can definitely see alot of people growing SLH, its a popular strain it seems..
I am not surprised to be honest its very nice indeed. But i think its also to do with alot of good marketing and also the fact that it won so many awards makes it a known name.

But i am glad alot of people are growing it, gives you plenty of info about the strain and how good you're doing :)
