Summer Grow - Sativas In the Balcony

They appear to have legs and are crawling creatures. I believe you have aphids. You didn't have to take the leaf off, you could have removed them tediously by hand, (and then I would spray SNS-203 or SNS-217), you want to be sure they're dead so they don't come back.

Just keep inspecting the leaves + undersides for more signs of creatures/things that may look like eggs.

Our sponsor has multiple products that work great against these types of problems.

SNS 203 Soil Drench Spray | Sierra Natural Science

SNS 217 Spider Mite Control Spray | Sierra Natural Science

Thanks for the tip Lester. Its confirmed they're aphids and I just realize the source is coming from inside my house, specifically the kitchen. I have probable 100 little flies. So I acted in the more natural form, did a solution 50/50 99% alcohol/hot water, sprayed the entire house from top to bottom, all the corners.... Most died instantly, tomorrow I will repass everything until I see no more. As for the eggs on the leaves of the Brainstorm, for now It seems under control and just on one plant, I hand pick every single one I saw, then rubbed the leaves with a clove of garlic, then misted the 50/50 solution just on the brainstorm. The rest of the garden just got a full inspection and a mist of the 50/50 solution. I am making a natural solution mix of Garlic and tomato leaves simmered in watered (low heat, more time) so tomorrow I will mist all the garden with this.

Thanks for the comments if this gets out of control I will mow def consider buying the SNS203-SNS217.

You may want to increase the amount of nitrogen, calcium and magnesium you are supplying your Brainstorm. I also agree that your Brainstorm has aphids.

Yeah its confirmed Aphids, Im using some more organic/natural solutions, if I don't get results SNS203/SNS217 will be the solution.

As for the Nutrients yeah I will give an extra dose to the Brainstorm, and will also start the use of Molasses. Brainstorm is under surveillance.

:thumb: Stay vigilant Danish :surf:

Now more than ever, once they start giving out the fruity buds, all kinds of buds are gonna want to take a bite. Im using all the natural/organic solutions out there, if Im left with no choice, got spray them with some insecticide...

How's the west treating the ladies broda??

:peace:

Yeamon glad to hear you are using natural remedies! We have been battling fungus gnats, thrips and aphids and it looks like we may be getting things under control :wood: Been struggling without spraying foliage on anything in the garden as I don't want to be killing off my mantis population. Been practicing more inspections and have noticed my fingers can be quite the insect repellants.. *squish squash* got me a couple baby pillars eating my beets this morning! I have also been applying soil drenches with SNS and neem oil/soap top soil sprayings in attempts to slim down the insect colonies. Also, on to days agenda I will be applying diatomaceous earth to all container plants top soil to prepare for major buddage, don't want any major infested buds :high-five: Anyways, checkin in this morning at a perfect 70~ this morning, due for a high of 90. Girls should be jonesin' for a photo shoot :Namaste: Til next time mon :hippy:

Yeah bro I wanna keep it as organic as possible. I've been gardening the entire morning (and cleaning my house the source of the problem...). Rubbed the leaves with garlic, and I sprayed all of them with tomato leaves & garlic infused water, and uses my fingers to reach deep and got the aphids situation under control for now. Also killed 2 small spiders one on the Trainwreck and the other on the Jamaican sativa. Also watered using only molasses (last night). Here its gonna be a wonderful sunday, kick it off on the low 70's and we will hit upper 80's later on.

Im glad to hear things are under control on your garden, I wish I had a mantis eating the evil bugs. :high-five:
You gotta do what ever it takes to keep this green ladies happy, even if it takes hours of squishing and squashing.

Have your self a good Sunday broda

Yeabuddy keep up them inspections :) Are you rubbing the plants down with a fresh clove? I will definitely give the garlic/water spray a go.. is there a ratio you are using/following? :blunt:

Have a safe, splendid skunkday Danish :joint: :joint:

Yeah I rubbed the bottom side of the affected leaves, before I hand picked out the little aphids. The infusion is tomato leaves a hand full of garlic and 2 ltrs water, bring to boil, let it simmer until reduced half the liquid. that remaining liter let it sit overnight with the leaves and everything, pass thru a filter, and ready to use. I've been doing this for 2 days now so it still under test, but so far so good.

Bless broda

Here's How they start the week.

Aphids are 90% under control on the Brainstorm, she did lose a few old fan leaves, but it was worth the sacrifice. Jamaican Sativa and Brainstorm still behind on pistils formation and booming in general. Trainwreck is setting buds and Claustrum is still stretching, probably grew a good 3 inches since last measurement.

They all need an urgent defol, not so good air flow in the center, and as you can see the "bone structure" of the training method, its getting really dense with the foliage, that enables spiders and bugs to lay their eggs... I'm holding as much as I can because I will do a mayor hair cut on these ladies, so it's going to be a stress shock. I might defol by sectors so I can minimize the stress and faster recovery time, rather than one shot/mayor pain...

UPDATE.-

Hey guys I got to work this morning (after my morning toke & Coffee), and Defoled, trained, and watered all the ladies (and veggies). First lets start with the Brainstorm she is doing very well, aphids situation is now under control 100%, I did not defol this one because she is already behind flower and I don't want to stress her more, so Still not really showing pistils but she is pre flowering. I might put her in the Indoor tent if she doesn't catch up to the others. Jamaican Sativa is the only Regular seed and still no clear signs of sex definition, she does have the structure of a female and I don't see any sort of ball shaped clusters anywhere, she is the most stinky one out of the pack, very skunky lemon with a hint of papaya (this from a cooks point of smell...) The Jamaican is doing really good.

The two MVPs Trainwreck and Claustrum are doing Excellent. Trainwreck Is in the lead flowering way ahead, you can already see some really nice bud sites forming, she has a douce smell, Im not able to pick any particular smell but she smells fresh, she seems to have almost finished the stretch. Claustrum is slowly getting there showing some pistils here and there, the stretch is still going on, so Im still training and bending, she was the one with the most foliage so defol was a must to get better air flow and light penetration.

Hopefully now with better light penetration and better airflow, I will have less Spiders trying to get in, and just less bugs in general.

All of them were watered with jack's blossom booster fert. 10-30-20 (I did a double dose) and added a tablespoon of Molasses. Each plant got a litter of solution after the Defol was done. The weather is being harsh with them lower 20's and below, RH is above 60% on avg. No clear sunlight for the past days. So Im hoping they take well all that was done to them.
