i would use calmag as i think that Mg can inhibit Calcium uptake.

Thats all good im sure you will notice, i was just reading in the bible and it says it can do but isnt something to really worry about and im sure if it needs more calcium can just foliar it with a diluted milk mix.

Hey everyone,

The ladies are improving, most of the discoloration has gone:high-five:. Temps have been getting higher than I would like towards the afternoon,81F , but from midnight until about 9am temps stay around 77F and the light turns off at 12pm so Im not worried. We will just need to upgrade the ac before it gets warm.

We trimmed 2 leafs from each plant towards the top the other day and then this morning I pulled them back to one side.

Heres some pics from the night we trimmed.

Im pretty stoked You can finally start to see some size differances between the different strains..they all looked the same for a while lol But all the leaves look the same , I was hoping the sativa leaves would atleast be for fingery but owell.

I know slow seeds are considered weak, but has anyone flowered a weak seed? was the yield crap?

Did Some more pulling and trimmed a few leaves, Im trying not to trim as much as I had in the past. I want to see if the yield and the nugs are any different.

As far as the heat issue, I just opened the door to the room for now. I have a fan blowing in cold air from inside the house(66F according to my house therm) its helping bring the temps down for now

We are going to need to do some more venting/ move stuff to get the heat down, especially before it gets stinky.

Thanks Popcorn! I just started to LST this week, so abooouuuutttt 4 weeks old.

This grow feels like Im out in left field.
1 cuz ive never grown from seed
2nd i normally veg for 2 months
3rd ive always grown scrog
4th i trimmed aaaaalllllooooootttt during all growth stages

We still got an alright yield about 2ounces per 4 ft plant. But we saw what people were getting the same yields with way less veg and no scrog so Im just sitting here with my fingers crossed hoping things will turn out good lol

Im looking at either LST or hi defoliation but without bending as im gonna use under lighting, im aiming for 6oz per plant but expect 3-4, would aim for more but i could do with more room really.

Well i suppose its good to be out in the left field at least your learning something new everyday and you get that funny feeling before you trim a branch of for the first time or start defoliating (anxiousness of am i doing this right lol), but then that makes it more fun again and again, and you have seperate results from a completely different grow to compare with your previous grows then get the feel for what you like the most and maybe pioneer a new way lol

Ive never thought about underlighting, Im going to sub to your thread.

Im just trying to figure out what works best for me, like most of the members on this forum. Thats why I joined, this is such a positive place and educational place. I could only dream of pioneering anything lol

One things for sure my next grow is going to be completely different and Im only a month in haha

Yeah i have completely changed my grow had some issues in the beginning and had to get some new seeds and then decided to change everything, i am under lighting only during flower i have a reflector for my cfl and hps and will use both HPS from above CFL from below as heat, i decided to try this as i am using mostly indica dominant plants and as they generally have such big fan leaves and drown the light out of everything else, so thought if i could get a decent cfl to sit in there then it should eliminate that altogether also i am now looking at defoliating aswell.

Thanks glad to have you along, im at the boring stage at the min just waiting for them to start properly shooting.

Your thread was entertaining lol thankks for the laughs, but im glad its serious now. They are about to start growing fast!

Yea my heats a problem but unfortunately we wont be able to get in there to work on it until the weekend, we meant to talk about it last night but we celebrated halloween a little to hard haha
but the underlight seems like a good idea because im already having issues with my fan leafs cover the precious bud sites.
We will trry to remember to figure things out tonight lol

i find easiest way is turn on your lights lock up the room and you should be able to see where the light leaks, and they should be where the smell is leaking out of aswell.
