High Lady G,
I thought I would share my oil-making process. It's so simple. But, first the story of origination.
I studied many ways of cannabis oil, and didn't like any of the ways because of the hot oil. I'm too clumsy to play with hot oil. So when reading one of SweetSue's posts, I combined a couple of steps, and eliminate the water. One more caveat: This is not an instruction how-to.
It's just the way I do. Okay, here goes:
4 oz. cannabis flowers, blended quite fine.
2 cups olive oil.
put ingredients into crockpot and turn on low for 6-8 hrs (until bubbling stops). Stir some during bubbling stage. Allow to cool overnight. Squeeze with cheesecloth in a colendar into large bowl.
Isn't that easy?
A little more to the story. That's the strength SweetSue makes her oil also. When she first started making oil, she misunderstood the recipe she wanted to use. It was originally 2 oz per batch. Whatever strength you use, just start out with lower doses until you know how it will affect you.
P.S. The leftover oil infused cannabis still has a lot of THC in it, if you can find a way to use it.
