Stoner's RDWC & Soil Grow With Mixed Strains

So looking for pictures of that grow I see that I was playing favorites with my first ever auto but I found a picture of that dense bud stacking up. But idk how this auto did so well, over 2 oz I cant remember if i got 2 jars or 3 but I dabble in dabs and that was months ago

I'm real interested in that blue dream stain. The wife has fibromyalgia and I believe it's on the list of recommended strains. They all look fantastic. Amazing how fast plants respond in hydro.
I too am a fan of root ball porn. This is one side in my old 4x8 box. 2 WWs from clones taken 21 days into flowering, 1 netpot, and one 18 gal tote bubbler all scrog on both sides. Very low tech simple grow.

omg your monster cropped scrog just exploded in magnificent colas. Actually I got it from a sponsor of the site here "truenorthseedbank" but this particular one is just wild

White Widow in 6 days

Well the roots and plants are looking great but the ph sorta does its own thing, I hope it starts going up again and not keep going down. However the Afghan plant bounced back fast so hopefully she starts getting bigger and the White Widow is getting a lighter green and they are eating and drinking.

I added 15ml of b-52 to see if it would stabalize the ph and to see if it causes any issues as I know it is good before the addition, however the ph dropped another .1 so I will watch that but idk what I can do with ph perfect nutes I may give it 1 ml of ph up later

Edit: it was at 5.7 like 5 minutes after this picture

Everything looks wonderful. I really like that you show root development in your updates. Them widows seem to be bouncing back. New growth looks great. Gotta love that. My widows are showing some pH issues. Pretty sure they are locking out sulphur ( light colored narrow new growth). Oh well, sheeeet happens. That's what I get for trying to use a pH drop tester. Obviously not as accurate as I need. I guess with me being shade blind doesn't help...lol. So, new meter on the way and a new tds meter to replace my older one too. Ordered calibration solution for both as well.

Thank you I am glad that it is appreciated, I really want to see what happened in the last week it is hard to see growth when you look at them once a day lol. I wish I knew more about lockouts and ph caused issues but I just pray they don't happen around here too often lol (knocks on wood). Are you using the litmus paper or like a liquid indicator system? the litmus paper was my very first piece of tech lmao lasted all af 5 seconds before I ordered a pen. pH is such a funny thing and it is good to know the number but what was wrong with your tds meter I have never heard of them going bad? speaking of calibration fluid I will need to get that for when my bluelab starts yelling at me after the month

I was using the drops. I can pH down the solution to yellow but different shades throw me off. Red, blue, green deficiency is what I truly have issues with. I mean what the hell is purple, aqua, rose blah blah blah. I figured with low pH being in the yellow rage I'd be okay. Guess not...so it's meter time. I used to use the same drops in dwc and had no prob. Soil seems to be different. Whatever it is it's getting solved.
I've had the same tds meter for decades. No real reason to replace it except daddy wants a new one...lol. Eventually I'll go with bluelabs t stick but for now it's gonna have to be what it is.
Since my widows started acting up I've dove head first into plant deficiencies info. I remember more than I give myself credit for. After a study session I jump on the wtf is wrong with my plants threads and try to evaluate issues. Sometimes I'm right. Sometime not so much but it's good practice.
Seeing your girls daily makes you feel like your getting nowhere but then suddenly you stand back one day, exhale and go Wow! Somebody hand me a saw...lol.

I love that about these ladies I have almost got out the sawzall on one but I took massive tin snips and finally made progress lol

So are your Widows still yellow or whats happening to them? most pictures I see in your journal look good except them looking yellow like they do and for seeds they have weird growth like asymmetrical nodes in places almost like a clone

Here's what I'm looking at. White spots here n there are just dust. Wipes right off. I'm just to lazy to do it...lol.

I think the odd growth your seeing is them reveging from flowering. First single leaf then three leaf and then normal growth. Like this. This was taken 7/13

Oh yes I forgot you checked for males by flipping. I have looked at the first picture but was the second picture taken before or after? I think the reveg is what I was seeing in that first picture

Finally at 5.8 after the 5.6 with b 52 added and showing a climb which is what I want I will be increasing EC on Wednesdays water change; So with that a question how much do you raise the ec/ppm at this point for girls like mine in water? they are getting very light green and drinking/eating more and more? MrSauga or West Hippie what do you do? anybody else with any thoughts you are more then welcome to tell me anything :bongrip:

The first pic is the deficiency. At first I thought they were hungry girls but upon further research I've got some work to do.

West will be away for a bit. As for the increase in food I wouldn't know outside of following what the manufacturer recommended. If you have been feeding at half dose I would just increase to 3/4 until you see how the plant reacts.
thanks I will try something like this

Hello everyone this morning I looked and the rez it's still at 5.8 and has not changed all night and I have no problems to report from the roots everything looks great. I will look when I watered the blue dream last but overnight she finished all her drink so I gave another 4l, last time I gave 8l and shop vacced a bunch of run off. All new leaves look amazing on the Afghan so I feel anything on the WW is a small lockout but even she is looking killer again in her new growth

well over the day rez hit 5.5 so as soon as it did I brought it up to 5.8, after that I remembered I could do another tea drench (foam had gone away I noticed). Plus I tied up the middles on the Afghan the same way I did the Blue Dream sorta right across the center to fill it in nice. I also cut the 75% dead leaves on the WW to try let her focus on good growth. Sadly I notice less drinking and ppm/ec dropping but I will look in the morning and hope the fresh bacteria gets this party going again.

I also put a fan in there as my smaller one was dead and the AH in the rdwc bucket is showing pistils

And best for last

Daaammmnn! I'd say your getting dialed in. They all look gorgeous. I like your use of the pipe cleaners. I don't understand why many don't tie down plants. I like watching them hips get fat. I guess some just like huge main colas. To each his own aye? Is that off color on your roots from the tea you use?
