One thing I'm actually concerned about that I'd like to get some feedback on is about pests. I recently chopped a plant early that I had in the ground outside due to pesky caterpillars. I just ran out of Azamax a few weeks ago and I'm wondering what the best way to handle critters like caterpillars and mites would be ? I Haven't found any evidence of caterpillars or mites inside my greenhouse yet, but I'd rather take preventive measures then worry about these little bastards after the fact. I mean I guess my azamax was doing its job, & takes care of caterpillars and mites using a foliar spray or soil drench but that shit is pricy for a tiny little bottle that barely lasts a harvest. I've thought of all kinds of ways to handle them but I find a fault in every solution ! I could simply dump a bag of ladybugs in the greenhouse to prevent a mite infestation but then i'd have to ladybug proof my shed by installing fine mesh screens on my oscillating fan, intake & exhaust fan which would be a PITA not to mention ladybud shit and the casualties that would litter my grow room. They have predatory flies that lay eggs in caterpillar eggs and devour them from inside out but then I run into the same problem as the lady bugs ! Or i was considering hot shot no pest strips, does anybody have any experience with these ? Is the vapor harmful to my plants and does it take care of mites and caterpillars ? I thought of putting stickies around the stem of my plant and rim of the bucket to avoid caterpillars, but don't caterpillar infestations start by moths laying eggs on the plant ? I've even thought of the stupid electronic frequency pest repellents which I HIGHLY doubt work !! Has anybody though of putting the pest lights that attract and kill bugs like the ones in mcdonalds ? Hopefully somebody can help me out in this area or give me other suggestions I did not list
