I was just checking out your journal. your seeds are alot darker.
I'm starting to have a bad feeling.
I wonder how many of my other strains are like this?

i don't think so...maturity has to occur while they're still attached to the mother plant i believe.

hope they germ for ya....really sux if they don't. i mean how exactly would you go about trying to get you money back for something like this?

Did the place you purchased them from have any gauranteed germanation? like %40 or some shit, i think some places do. So if they dont germ i would talk to the seed company. Although i put a bunch of bag seed in to germ and the worst looking one in there ended up being the first one to pop, so i dont know man, you might be alright. . . good luck, cant wait to see what you and the kick ass set-up come out with

Not to much I could do if the seed company denied my claims. Can't really go to my credit card company and say. Hey, my MJ seeds didnt work- dont pay them . But, it looks like I won't have to worry about that!!!!!

I germinated 6 seeds. All of them dramatically got darker. Weird shit- maybe there a little off the norm cause they're feminized seeds I dunno.

2 of the seeds have actually shown me there tap root! It's less then 24 hours. Man, I was stressing all day about this, I am very VERY relieved!

5 of the 6 WW seeds have shown there tap root.
I may plant them tonight or tomorrow.

Planted the seeds in the Rapid Rooter yesterday

The 6th seed popped today!... All 6 are looking good!!!

I've had my first fatality. One of the WW fell over, I tried to tie it up, but the base of the stem suffered damage... it just kept getting thinner. I killed her off today and buried her in the back yard. I decided to substitute her with a Skywalker. I started germination today. So, there will be 5 WW and 1 Skywalker Mothers for the next grow of 18 plants.

I will post pictures later tonight of the WW seedlings.

yeah, They stretched over nite. I had the bubble cover on with a flour on top. worked fine with the bag seed, but these took off fast. I changed over to the MH last night

will the streaching out affect the plant later on? is it just gonna be taller over all? i only have a 5' space to work with so i am tryting to keep them short as possable, i thought they started out like that. . .

No it shouldn't effect the adult hight of the plant as long as they survive. What you are going to have to pay close attention too is that once those leaves start to grow the plant will get heavier on top and just fall over, because it's stem is not stong enough to support so much hight so far from it's base. What you need to do before that happens is give it some extra support. What you can do is take a straw, hold it up next to your plant, cut it to the hight of about a centimeter under the bottom set of leaves, then you slit the straw from end to end along one side and flex it open so that you can put it around the stem of the plant, without being pinched, to help hold it up. Give it a week or 2 like that and the lower and/or more powerful light should help it to build a stronger stem and once it has you can remove the straw.

The seedlings are looking fine. They only have there first set of leaves still, looks like some more will be coming soon. They should be taking off in a few days, I hope. As soon as they get 1-2 more sets of leaves, I'll move them to the 6 plant drip system where they can grow and become mothers for the next grow.
I planted the single Skywalker seed today, It's already about to break the surface!

That's awesome how fast that germinated. Hopefully a good sign for it catching up with the others. Still kind of worried for you about those WW being so stretched out. But hopefully they will firm up soon.
